We liked everything !! Nanni was the most welcoming host who paccified 2 hot and grumpy travellers . He helped with the parking, heavy suitcases and as we arrived around lunch time he brought delicious savory tart and cheeses. The view over the Ibla was breathtaking with colours changing from dawn to sunset accompanied by tolling church bells.Nanni also booked us a table for dinner at a nearby restaurant with excellent food. The rooms were lovely and ours had a door to the terrace with a beautiful view and where breakfast was served. Breakfast was ample with fresh fruit, breads , cakes , cheese and good coffee. Thank you Nanni for a wonderful stay.

The following is not meant to be negative towards our B&B Terre del Sole Ibla. I will most definitely stay there again. It is just to help travellers make the right decision. The Ibla is a very hilly part of town (but also the most picturesque)You have to go down and up lots of stairs to get to the restaurants and sights. This wil not be suitable for disabled travellers or old or inactive people. We are 73 and 78 and handled it quite well !

We loved our stay at Terra del Sole Ibla, Nanni was so helpful when we arrived and throughout. Thank you. The B&B is positioned on the main road down from Ragusa halfway to Ibla, and the views from the terraces are wonderful. Our room was at the private end of the terrace with seats outside for our use. The room was very spacious with a large and very comfortable bed. A wardrobe, bedside tables, and a desk, the fridge was stock with items for a small charge. A TV and charging station for our tech. Plus, aircon. The bathroom was large, and all modern fittings with a supply of toiletries and the towels were soft and smelled lovely. Everything for the comfort of the guest. Plus, it was cleaned daily. Breakfast was either outside on the terrace or inside the breakfast room. Nanni laid breakfast out and remembered our preferences on the following mornings. The choice from local produce, bakery, eggs, cereals, fruit, and more. Something for everyone. The choice was fab. Oh not to forget the secret door too. On departure, our cases were kept for us to have more time in Ragusa before moving on. I would highly recommend staying here. If I could give a higher mark, I would. But 3 words professional, comfort, perfect.

The stunning part of this property is the terrace view, very spacious rooms (we had room number 5, a triple room, although we were two) with everything we needed, also a mini-bar, to enjoy an evening drink on the terrace. Breakfast was very good, mainly delicious traditional pastry. It’s a 10 minute walk from Ragusa Ibla center and the host was one of the best hosts we’ve met during our journeys, and we had quite a few.

Is not related to the property itself, but street parking is not 100% available next to the b&b. If you’re arriving late at the property after 9 PM, you should take into account that you’ll not find available places on the street to park close to the location, but you could use the designated parking areas around (Parcheggio Repubblica is the nearest)

The B&B Terra del Sole Ibla was super nice. We liked our stay there a lot. Not only was the staff very friendly and considerate, but also the location was beautiful and every day at breakfast you could see the town on the terrace. Breakfast was also very good and always way too much to eat. The way to the town is a nice walk trough old and nice alleys. All in all we would definitely come back for another stay there.

If you want to have the beach right in front of your door, we would not recommend to stay there, because it’s a 20min drive to the next beach, for us it was no problem. And our room was a little dark because there was only one window, but you will be all day outside exploring the cities and beaches that this will also be just a very small issue. And there is a balcony, so you can go outside and have a beautiful view.

Fabulous accommodation in a lovely town, wonderful position, great view from the terrace. Room was comfortable, spacious and most importantly quiet. Breakfast, served on the terrace was generous and tasty. Great recommendations from our host for exploring the area. The secret passage was a lovely way to exit and enter the property, giving you insight into life in a hilltop Sicilian town. Parking was possible close by for those traveling by car.

Just sorry we didn’t plan a longer stay, as Terra del Sole Ibla would be an ideal base to explore the Val de Noto.

The rooms, beds and baths were very clean, spacious, comfortable and functional. The host is friendly, responsive and helpful, and serves up an exceptionally tasty and generous breakfast on a terrace with fabulous views of the town.. While dining choices in the area are limited, there is a perfectly fine trattoria very close, along with a snack bar serving delicious home-made gelato and granita Italian ices. This is a quiet and relaxing facility with loads of charm that should make your visit to this part of Sicily pleasant and memorable. We found the area completely safe.

We liked everything about the property, but be advised it is in a richly atmospheric old part of Ragusa, and there are numerous stairways and ramps involved in traversing this part of the city. Bring good shoes and be prepared to walk and climb some stairs, for this part of Ragusa reveals many delightful nooks and crannies to those willing to explore.

We liked the spacious room across the road from the main building as this felt more self contained and our balcony had an excellent view. The terrace where the excellent breakfast was served was fantastic with wonderful views over the town. The host was very helpful.

It might be helpful to advise visitors when booking that there are many steep steps up and down between the property and the centre of the town. This was ok for us but might be challenging for those who are less mobile.

The host Nanni could not have been more welcoming and helpful. He helped us with transfer to the station, arranged excursions and brought us to the B&B himself on our arrival in Ragusa. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied with different traditional Sicillian savouries being provided each day. The location was perfect on the edge of Ibla and within easy walking distance of the historic centre. Views from the terrace outside our room were spectacular. The room was spacious with good heating.

The shower was large and separate from the main bathroom but the water controls were difficult to understand and hard to achieve a comfortable temperature.

Nanni has a great attitude towards guests. There was a problem hooking up to the internet (still today I don't know why when I have traveled around the world without any problems and even the next day my computers had no problems) and he came over at 10 pm to help to troubleshoot the problem. We coudn't figure out what the problems was (I am guessing is a internet provider issue) and he spent an hour trying to figure it out! Eventually he set a router hotspot. My wife was so happy!!! Also, in the room there were a lot of electronic devices hookup points! Great feature!

This B&B is simply a little gem in Ragusa Ibla. It has an incredible view from my room and the terrace over Ragusa Ibla (the old part) and is conveniently situated between Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superiore. A big thank you as well to Nanni, the host, for his wonderful hospitality and all the tips about Ragusa. There are some free parking spots in front of the reception entrance, which is a must in Ragusa Ibla (especially when you travel with a big suitcase). The room was very comfotable and spacious with an incredible view. It was very quiet. It has a free coffee machine. There are also a lot of plugs in the room to recharge your decived. The breakfast was equally amazing! Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would definitely come back again if visiting Ragusa.
