The view from our room/balcony was 100% magical overlooking the Amalfi coast. The balcony was huge and gave such a sense of space and light (room 403). The room was modern and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom worked well. The breakfast was delicious, cut fruit, cereals, gorgeous yoghurts and non stop excellent coffee, teas and naughty cornets. All the staff were very friendly, professional, helpful and kind: the reception staff, the kitchen staff, the cleaning staff and the shuttle bus staff were wonderful. I liked the fact that Villa Piedimonte is an eco/green hotel, doing it’s best to support recycling and saving water. The hotel pics shared were from our balcony. The one extra bit of info I would like to have known before coming to the hotel was that www.amicoshuttle.com offer a booking shuttle bus service from Amalfi to Ravello square which is simple to use and gives you the reassurance that you will get a seat that you have pre-booked, as Amalfi on arrival, is very, very busy! It’s E10 one way and E15 for a return booking.

There was nothing not to like.

Great hotel outside of the main Ravello square. Welcome was extremely warm and friendly. Room was ready as we arrived (and we were early). Room was very big and to a good standard. Everything you would need, we also had a balcony room which was lovely. Pool was quiet with a little bar that did a nice lunch, very reasonably priced. The shuttle service to the square was a god send. We were at a wedding and I was able to use the service to head up to the square for a hair appointment and they came back to pick me up. Breakfast room was a little warm but the choice was pretty extensive. If you want a hotel with amazing views but a bit out of the tourist area in Ravello, this is perfect.

We ordered a taxi to take us to our next stop in Amalfi and it was €70…a 20 minute journey. Feel that was a little steep!

The views were breathtaking. The grounds are very well kept, lemon and orange trees in large planters line the walkway to the lobby. Exceptionally clean grounds and rooms. Crisp white sheets and towels. The breakfast each morning was fantastic. Fresh baked goods, fruit, eggs, cheeses, fresh fruit juices, espresso, cappuccino lattes, Parking was a plus. The property was very secure and quiet. Tomas the resident cat was lovely to see there and visit with. Staff was very helpful especially Alexandra at the front desk and Robert, the grounds keeper & shuttle bus driver

We loved the location and views of this hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. They upgraded us to be in a room closer to our other family members staying there. The room had a large nice bed in the bedroom with pullout sofa bed in the sitting area. The bathrooms were large and clean. The grounds were stunning with all the fresh flowers and lemon trees. Breakfast was lovely every morning, big spread with something for everyone. Finally the pool was a highlight for us, being so high up and the summer heat beating down, it was lovely to cool off poolside and have some cocktails.

The “going green” products were nice, however flimsy. When staying in a 4-star hotel, I tend to expect nicer quality soaps and lotions.

Beautiful setting in Ravello. Room and views were stunning. All staff were kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, including recommendations for restaurants etc.

The property offered a ride into the town square which was really helpful as it is set on a hill. The only downside (probably due to it not being the height of season) was that the public transport (bus) to get into Amalfi or other places were very small and trying to get tickets was a bit inconvenient(not in Tabacchis as advertised) This is no reflection on the property though and we would stay again.

Great location and beautiful views. The room and bathroom were big and the balcony had a lovely view. Walking distance to Ravello queue, which had restaurants and shops. Staff were nice and breakfast was pretty good.

The room we stayed in (as much as it was great) it was very loud, we were beneath the reception, kitchen and breakfast room, we heard everything upstairs until late at night then again early morning. And we could hear the dogs barking next door a lot. Also, the room service / food was very average, unless you're desperate I wouldn't get it.

Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Piedimonte. We arrived via bus from the port. Bus €1.50 per person. They offer a free shuttle bus so when you get to Ravello give them a call and they will collect you. We walked , took around 6 mins from the bus stop. Drinks by the pool were lovely and very reasonable. Staff were very caring and kind. They give you towels at the pool for free. I would highly recommend the pizza restaurant 1 minute walk from the hotel. It's called Giuliana. Amazing food and views are spectacular.

We came to Ravello to get married and were treated exceptionally well by the team from the moment we booked until when we left. They shared the Fiat 900 car to drive us to the square the day of our wedding and our room had a beautifully large balcony. They greeted us with a bottle of Cava in the room which was a lovely touch

If there was an iron in every room would be great :-) - not a mega issue as we got one when we needed but would be great to have in room

The view is stunning. The whole place and the amenities are great, included the breakfast. Our room was beautiful, clean and impeccable.

They sent us a message two days before our arrival offering us transportation from Amalfi to the place at a reasonable cost and when we tried to book the transportation, not only did they increase the cost but they also didn't even send the transfer. Keep in mind that getting to Ravelo from the port of Amalfi is complicated and extremely expensive if you want to go by taxi.

Lovely large room and balcony! Pool area and food menu was good and great value. Aperol spritz was fantastic! The centre of Ravello is walkable but there is a shuttle bus available!

Price was very expensive. Where the property is situated being on the side of the hill means the sun leaves the pool area earlier in the afternoon than we had hoped! Also need to buzz reception everytime you want to get back into the property
