We had no idea what to expect and when we arrived and walked around the house and the grounds we were amazed. I could stay there forever! The decour was lovely, the grounds had a beautiful herbal fragrance from all of the flowers and herbs. The dinner was simple but well prepared. I stayed with my boyfriend in a duplex cottage where the farm workers used to live and my sister stayed in the main house. Both accommodations were beautiful. Alex, who manages the property was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The added bonus was the sweet elderly dog REX.

No complaints. My sister has dietary restrictions and found the food a bit limited, but I was pleased. There is a small town nearby but the recommended restaurant was closed one night and we ate at a somewhat odd place that specializes in meats.

This was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. The property was stunning. Beautifully decorated, relaxing atmosphere. Alex was an amazing host, always working and always smiling. Friendly staff. Dinner was good. Clean environment, good air conditioning. Loved the dog, wish we could take him home. Can’t wait to come back.

The breakfast was a bit simple. There wasn’t many people at the property when we were there, so I understand this is difficult to execute. But an eggs and bacon or other breakfast options a la carte would have solved this. Still scoring everything a 10 out of 10 because it absolutely deserves it.

We had an amazing stay in this spacious and beautifully decorated hotel with a romantic garden that I would recommend to everyone. it is situated near the wonders of Agrigento but in the middle of nature with stunning views of the surrounding. Every morning there is a broad selection for breakfast and lunch and diner are delicious with Italian local products. There is a clean and big swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and nice sun beds so perfect for relaxation (we stayed here most of our time with a delicious cappuccino and good book). It was hard to leave so we booked an extra night which was very much worth it! Thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable dear hard working staff!

It was a highlight of our trip in Sicily. The whole property is just stunning, the room was huge with impressively high ceiling, and the view! The view over surrounding hills and the sea in the distance was simply sublime.

I took one point off just for the breakfast- which was wonderful but lacked salty options. There was only one type of sausage and one type of cheese. The rest was cookies, fruits, jams etc. It would be wonderful if you could add eggs and some vegetables to the breakfast selection.

Breakfast was elaborate and lovely. Lots of fruit, pastries and yogurts in addition to salamis and cheese.

There was a large private party on our first night. The hotel didn’t serve dinner, as a result, and no one offered us a complimentary drink or anything to make up for the noise and inconvenience of having to find somewhere else to eat in Agrigento, a difficult 20 minute drive away and hard to navigate for anyone unfamiliar with the windy roads at night. All of the guests were inconvenienced because it was loud and went on late, and yet no one was given anything to make up for the inconvenience. We loved it otherwise but it was obtuse on the part of the staff not to do anything complimentary for the guests that night.

Lovely spacious bedrooms, pretty surroundings, gardens and communal areas, helpful, friendly staff and, on the whole, pretty good food

The pool could do with a little bit of a revamp and tidy-up. And the chairs on the terraces could be a bit more comfortable! The breakfast was fine but would have been improved dramatically by fresh bread and bakery produce

Alex is an amazing host and this place is simply amazing, great design and awesome view.

I would certainly work on the selection of food available for breakfast, in particular for ppl with food sensitivities, if you avoid gluten and dairy there is not much left. And I would fix the water pressure, one could barely take a shower.

We loved the place. The interior was so tasteful and with attention to detail. Outside was lovely green and lush. Pool was lovely and cool. Staff very kind and attentive.

Evening meals could have been a lot better. Food was not very good but expensive. We would gladly pay the price if food was better.

Absolute bliss, if you wish to slow down the pace of travelling and want to see the historical sites in South west Sicily, Masseria Agnello is a perfect stay to unwind. The rooms are beautifully designed for comfort. The food was fantastic, freshly baked cakes and delicious meals on the terrace during dusk...heavenly.

The service was a little slow at certain times, Alex was a dream as was Luigi on hand to drive us around. However there were a few occasions where we couldnt signal to someone for help.

Amazing historic location, a magnificent atmosphere in and around the property. Quiet and very relaxing surroundings. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped. Alex provided us with absolutely perfect and very hospitable service during our stay. She made us feel like home and provided excellent wine advice during dinner.

We visited just before the property was closing down for fall/winter, the pool seemed a bit dirty.
