Very clean, comfortable room near basilica di San Pietro and musei Vaticani! A perfect place to stay within a walking distance from the historic centre of Rome and still far from the noise and the heavy traffic! Mattresses are exceptional and invite you for a nice sleep! But the best aspect of the place is the host, Daniele! A kind and caring person, he runs the place with love and efficiency! Although we stayed for a little while us and our girls definitely bonded with him! We would definitely love to come back again! Highly recommended 👌

Perfect - in every aspect! The team was very kind and helpful from the very beginning by helping us reaching the location in the fastest way and later with some tips for exploring Rome. Location is perfect - literally next to Vatican and walking distance from most of the sightseeing of Rome. We had fantastic view from the room - the view spread out over the city from St Peter's Basilica to Vittorio Emanuele's monument. Spotlessly clean, daily cleaning. Breakfast plentiful and various. I definitely recommend A Picture of Rome - the best place with the best team.

Our hosts were extremely helpful. They helped us with everything we needed. Secured transfer from and to airport, let us know where we can buy tour tickets. Rooms were nice and the view was stunning (we stayed in Twin Room with City View, photos of the view from our room are attached). We also had breakfast, awesome croissants!!! Everything we needed was in walking distance and Daniele also gave us some tips for restaurants and some spots we should visit. We were most excited about Vatican so this was a perfect spot for us. Don't be afraid to message them with questions before your arrival (where to buy tickets, transfers, etc.). Just a 10/10 stay.

Fantastic Stay at B&B A Picture of Rome! I had an amazing experience during my stay at B&B A Picture of Rome. The hotel’s location, right next to the Vatican City, was incredibly convenient for exploring the city’s iconic attractions. Within a mere 300m walk, I found myself at the Vatican Museums and Saint Angelo Castle – what a treat! Despite being situated near a bustling square, the hotel’s soundproofing was exceptional, providing a tranquil environment for a good night’s rest. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and the towels were fresh with no unpleasant odors. One of the highlights of my stay was the delightful breakfast spread. The croissants were particularly heavenly, and I loved the variety of options, including coffee, milk, juice, cereals, fruits, and yogurt. It was the perfect way to start each day before heading out to explore Rome. Additionally, the hotel’s surroundings were very convenient. With various restaurants and supermarkets just downstairs, dining and shopping were effortless. The hotel staff was courteous and accommodating. They offered complimentary luggage storage, which was incredibly helpful during my sightseeing trips, ensuring I could explore without feeling weighed down. Overall, I would rate B&B A Picture of Rome a perfect 10/10! Its outstanding service, cleanliness, and proximity to major landmarks make it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Rome. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to the Eternal City!

The proximity to the Vatican/St Peters was ideal. Then, to be able to wake up and go to sleep looking at the dome... What a treat! Very secure and safe building. Close to food, shopping, and services. The hosts were (gosh! I think) genuinely excited to make our stay as perfect as they could. I didn't fully realize that until we asked for their help getting us transport to civitavecchia. Now I wish I'd reached out to them for help booking things before I got there! Next time...

I disliked nothing. They nailed it.

This was my third time staying at this property, and I'm sure I'll be back in the future. The guys who run this property are so nice and helpful, with great advice about where to go and how to get around the city. The room was perfectly clean with a great view of St peters basillica. The area of Prati has some great shops and restaurants. I've stayed in other places in Rome, but none compare to this property and location, and I would happily stay there again in the future. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a base to explore Rome.

Everything was perfect, no complaints

We are a family of five and we had two joining rooms, the rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable. Staff were friendly and had a map ready for us with all the top locations. This wasn't our first time to Rome, so we didn't need any tours, but you were able to book tours with Daniele. WiFi great for the kids. Lift to the six floor bonus. Overall wonderful stay.

Even though the location is very central, street parking was difficult.

I liked that it was exactly as described on booking website, including the beautiful view from the window as this was one of the main reasons we booked it. Bed was comfortable, plenty of towels, fridge in room, bathroom clean & spacious enough, shower has enough pressure. Very convenient location, sports bar & lovely restaurant downstairs. Friendly, helpful, kind hosts.

Can’t think of anything!

The best place one could wish to stay. It started before the journey even started, B&B a picture of room asked me if they could contact me through whatsapp and they did. The gentleman was very polite and extremely helpfull. He assisted me with organizing flowers and drinks for my fiancee, which he offered me as a service. Then he helped me book a aperitif at a local rooftop restaurant which was amazing. If going to Rome and you have a chance to stay here, do so. The location the people it is just amazing. Just excellence in a small B&B, thank you for the great Stay Daniele!

The staff is very nice. Daniele allowed us an early checkin, which helped a lot since we were very tired from an early morning flight. They also gave us amazing tips about exploring Rome and the Vatican. Our room has a view of the Vatican. It is also very clean, modern, and spacious. In our experience, rooms with two single beds tend to be very tight but not this one. Even the bathroom is quite spacious. I would hands down stay here again.
