Staff went above and beyond with our kids and advice on sites and restaurants. Breakfast was brilliant! Location couldn’t have been better, fantastic value for money!

a diamond in termini, it was ideal for the station and not at all seedy or unsafe. looks like pictures and is actually well located for many sights. friendly staff, who went extra mile to accommodate guests. Breakfast was great, varied with hot paninis made to order!! I would definitely go there again.

Everything was outstanding, exceptional and phenomenal! From the moment I had contact with staff we were treated like royalty! We were fortunate enough to be granted early access to our gigantic, spacious room! We were given help carrying our suitcases up in the elevator. There was a safe, mini-fridge, water, and tea/coffee making ability in our room. Our bed was huge, and our granddaughter slept on a real bed-not a sofa! The bathroom was excellent and the shower had a door! Everything was modernized (remember to bring European chargers). We thoroughly enjoyed the continental PLUS breakfast which included eggs, ham, toasted breads, cereals, yogurt, and delicious assorted fresh pastries, as well as a variety of specialty coffees! We asked for, and were given help with regard to inquiries about local restaurants and shopping and sightseeing. Our location was extra safe and secure and in a lovely district. We ate at two local restaurants nearby, while our granddaughter visited where all the college students gathered. Of course, we enjoyed the Hop on Hop off bus tour! We will stay at Hotel Gea Di Vulcano when we are in Rome in the future.

Perfect location,very convenient to all the landmarks and Termini train station. The hotel was extremely clean with delicious breakfast in the morning. It was perfect for us! I highly recommend it and would definitely stay again!

i loved everything about this hotel. the staff were very nice and friendly. the location and the entrance are amazing. it’s not far from Termini but at the same time very clean neighborhood, after all it’s on Via Nazionale. there are really nice stores nearby and a McDonalds just 5 meters away. the breakfast was also nice.

When entering the reception, it doesn't strike you as a successful booking. However, don't be fooled by the rustic design. Room was clean, spacious, and had a/c (must have during the heat of Rome). Bathroom was spacious as well, and the shower pressure was great. It had windows (giving it nice brightness when needed), wi-fi worked great (when data had issues), and it also had a small fridge (which came pretty handy). It also had a wardrobe and a safe, had a large and small mirror, and there was a desk to work if needed. Staff were superb; at check-in and check-out, at breakfast, and at cleaning. They had the a/c on prior to our arrival to cool the room and there was a small water bottle in the fridge as well! Cleaning was daily. Location is excellent. One can walk to almost any major site. Alternatively, taxies, buses, trains, and e-scooters are available, most of them just outside on the main road. Shops are at your footstep (from mini markets, to pharmacies, from clothing to food). Overall, we stayed for five nights and enjoyed our stay. We would happily stay again when back in Rome.

Minor things. I would have liked a remote control for the a/c, there were some minor defects on the plugs and in the shower, and a/c was a bit noisy. However, these wouldn't deter me from staying again.

Fantastic location close to Termini Station and on a prime shopping street. The double family room was spacious and beds fairly comfortable. Air conditioning units in each room were finicky due to radio interference with each other and the TV, but we got them working. The breakfast was delicious - definitely the best croissants we had in all of Italy - and the person in the kitchen was very proud of the breakfast she made and served. Many good restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

Directions to the hotel were good, but finding our way to the front desk was a bit more challenging - there are 3 or 4 hotel front desks on the same floor. We were situated at the back of the hotel and while the room was clean and had no odor, the stairwell leading to it was rather smelly so don’t let that throw you off.

My friend and I had to book last minute due to our previous hotel not meeting expectations on a horrific level. We booked our stay at the Hotel Gea literally the night before and they couldn’t be more accommodating. Though the building is old, the rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. The big modern bathroom was a definite plus and the breakfast was lovely and filling. Shoutout to the amazing woman who ran the breakfast and cleaned the rooms for her hard work and incredibly friendly patronage. All the staff were excellent and accommodating with everything. Best part? We were only a 15 min walk from the Trevi Fountain and a 20 min walk from the Colosseum.
