The style is pure classic form, like a cocoon of yesteryear that fits well into the city. For a single person, the room suits the needs, with well-thought-out equipment. The staff is accommodating. The nearby metro station makes your travel easier.

The space in the room is very limited, its price therefore depends a lot on demand in addition to its standard. A double room must be very different. The view is sacrificed for the sake of calm. I would have really loved a kettle. For breakfast, a more convenient ordering system could be implemented instead of disturbing or waiting on staff.

Fantastic location, and great price for thisbarea of city. Close to public transport. Metro very near. Trevi fountain about 7 min walk away.lots of little mini markets nearby to pick up water and essentials. Room was basic, but had everything required. Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was buffet and plentiful.

Service at breakfast was a little abrupt at times. The guy was not able to deal with more then one customer at a time. He came across as a little rude, but I don't think he meant to, mught be just the difference in culture.

Paid on booking.com €311. That was the cheapest rate incl hotel’s own rate for a Tuesday night. The same room was €175 if booked nearer the time!

Location was excellent, breakfast good and room clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. The gentlemen at reception were exceptionally helpful and always seemed happy to help. The room staff too were friendly and helpful, as well as thorough in their work. The air-conditioning was very efficient, which was appreciated as the temperatures were high in Rome. (not normally a lover of air-con!). Thank you to all staff.

I appreciated the hotel's convenient location and peaceful atmosphere. The room was quiet with efficient AC, the breakfast was great, and the staff was very professional.

Some small inconveniences were the lack of an individual iron, dust on the table when I first arrived. Additionally, the key is heavy, so you have to leave it at reception when heading out.

The location and amenities were excellent. We could walk to everything we wanted to see in Rome. The Trevi is barely 7 mins walk. Near great shopping too. The daily breakfast included was top notch. It was available till 10 am which is amazing if you want to sleep in a bit. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Could not find a better location. In walking distance to all the “must have seen” (e.g. Trevi fountain, Collosseum, Forum Romanum, Pantheon, San Luigi dei Francesci, Forum Navora, …) and less than 100 m from the Bernini Metro Station where one can take the underground to e.g. the Vatican, the Termini Railroad Station, … . A special word about the hotel’s staff : extremely friendly and helpful !! Breakfast was good.

Breakfast in Italy is often awful, if you want to drink instead of a Capucino an Americano you normaly receive sonething awful. At Stendahl Hotel the quality of a black coffee was a nice suprise. Very nice place! Breakfast was good, the staff very friendly.

Internet access, I will never sign in for a internet access with Twitter or Facebook login. It is like You would ask me to give you my pin number for my credit card only to be sure i don’t take something fron the mini bar.

my room was quite unusual but as a solo traveler it was fine. however, the shower stall was so tiny that I at 5’2” and small, could not shut the doors while showering! very inconvenient. room 204.

Cozy and comfortable hotel very close to some of Rome’s famous sites (Trevi fountain and Spanish steps, for example). Great breakfast included with multiple and tasty selections. The staff is kind and attentive. There’s comfortable parking two (long) and half blocks away. There’s also a choice for car pick up and return from a different Parcheggio depending on you arrival/departure time (the hotel is in a traffic restricted zone)
