Loved the stay at the hotel , it was comfortable and in a very convenient location! The breakfast on the rooftop was just wonderful,the stuff was friendly and helpful ! Then at night the rooftop transforms into an elegant dinner place , for which we were given 20% discount, and was totally worth it ! Loved the food , so so delicious! I wish to see it during warm months of the year ! The view from up there was beautiful !

I wished we had a higher floor cause at night it gets too hot and if u open the window, there’s too much noise! Another thing I didn’t like is that you need to pay to use the spa or the gym . The price to use the spa was 35 EUR per person per day , which I found very surprising and honestly I think for the price we already paid per night , it should have been included!

The rooms were spacious & very clean, usb chargers on side of beds, bathroom was beautiful, equipped with a makeup mirror & blow dryer on the wall & counter space with a shelf below the sink to organize all your things, the location was great, close to train station, decor, cleanliness was perfect, AC worked great!!!

Didn’t like that it is advertised with a gym & spa but costs 9 Euro per day for the gym & the spa is 35 Euro to use the facility. Not how it was advertised.

You have to pay 8€ to use the gym and 35€ to use the pool facilities!!! Normally these facilities are included if you stay at the hotel!

The people at the front desk were polite and happy to answer questions. They called to find out if reservations were required at the Ville Pontificie. The room was quiet and dark. The restaurant was excellent.

When I looked at the booking site I thought the pool would be available but found out at the hotel that it can only be visited with an appointment and a 35 Euro fee.

The friendliness of the staff. Everyone was super polite. The hotel is lovely and rooms nicely decorated. Very good value for money for a 4 star hotel in Rome city centre. The room was clean, tidy. Bedding was comfortable.

The coffee was terrible and no complimentary water for a 4 star hotel. The bathroom drains had a slight smell on a couple of days. And the water temperature of the shower varied from boiling to warm a lot.

This hotel is in an excellent location for sight seeing and walking distance to Termini station. It also has a gorgeous, enormous rooftop. Great shower, comfy beds.

Our room was on the ground floor facing a back street and it was quite noisy - could hear garbage trucks in the middle of the night. Bring ear plugs!

We were in the Junior suite, The room was Large and comfortable, extremely clean , Bathrooms were of decent size ad very clean as well . Ther Air conditioner was on and cooled perfectly The staff was courteous and pleasant , the cleaning crew was so efficient and thorough, the minute we left the room they were in to clean , The front desk was very helpful , especially Mr Luciano., My only issue was that we were given the street view room and even with the windows tightly shut the street noise was deafening The location was perfect , right by the Santa Maria Marjorem where the hop on hop off busses of all major companies pick up. Also plenty of very good restruants all around

DONOT take the street view rooms,you will not get a good nights sleep , the noise was intrusive this was my only negative experience in this otherwise wonderful hotel

Very comfortable stay! It was a spacious, nice room with good noise isolation. Hotel is conveniently located in the city center, close to all main attractions. What was most liked - staff. Super friendly, always helpful, thinking one step ahead of you. The young reception lady with dark hair (can’t remember the name, my apologies), she answered all my quite unique questions before I asked them! Thank you!🤩

Since our stay lasted a week, we felt that breakfast lacked variety. Breakfast itself was quite fine, yet it was all the same every day. Also, salmon could have been served more frequently (it was only once).

The first suite had a poor seal on the window, so the room was somewhat noisy for sleeping. Staff immediately switched rooms, giving me a huge upgrade in room type. The room was very quiet. Very nice washroom facilities with double sinks. Excellent customer care and service. The hotel has a very good restaurant as well. Staying at The Hive made our week-long stay in Rome a very enjoyable experience.

Found which light switch controlled which lights a little confusing initially, but eventually figured it out.

Almost perfect hotel one of the best I have stayed at recently. Spacious room with everything you might need from tea/coffee set to bathrobes and slippers. Spacious bathroom and shower too. Big fluffy towels and good bed linens. The room was warm and quiet. Reception desk was friendly and smily every time. A few supermarkets nearby. Close to the main railway station Termini if you travel by train or bus. Very close to one of the most beautiful basilicas Santa Maria Maggiore and sightseeing bus stop.

We had a problem with the water in the shower it was either cold or too hot, almost impossible to make it the right temperature. Although the hotel seems to be not so far away from the city center it took us about 20 min to get there, I wish it was more central. Not many good restaurants in the area too. We tried breakfast one morning, it was rather average and honestly not worth 20€.
