I was staying with my boyfriend, and since the Kursaal is under the reconstruction we got a room in a hotel Regina which is 50ish m from the Kursaal, but that did not bother us. Stay was perfect, room was great, bed is super comfy and we really really enjoyed our stay. In the morning, we got delicious breakfast, we had some brad, mortadella, cheese, some of their cakes and of course some orange juice and coffee. Everything was perfect.

Very nice breakfast
The tap water was salty and they wouldn’t let us chill in the lobby in the evenings so we had to go to one of our rooms. They also had no system in place for when my friend lost their room key so they suggested to him that he should buy another room which is crazy. He ended up staying in the twin bed of one of my other friends rooms.

The location is great. However in spite of the fact that it was published that they have a close parking, there was NO parking.
1. The hotel Tel number was disconnected 2. The receptionist apologized that the WiFi did not work. 3. The room key we got did not open the door. 4.. By the time we went down to replace the key, we found out that she left. 5.We called the night guard - who came from another location. He gave us another key, and then discovered there was no electricity and light in the room. 5. Downstairs we met another couple who found their room occupied with another guest.... 6. The 4 of us went to the Regina hotel, there we slept the night (it was already after midnight!). 7. In the morning we had to go back to the Kursaal hotel for breakfast, which was a terrible experience too. WE LEARNED THAT THE HOTEL IS QUITE NEW. HOW COMES THAT THERE WERE REVIEWS FROM JULY 2022.

AC did not work at all and the lock on bathroom was broken so you couldn’t lock the door

Hotel Kursaal was shut for renovations. We were put in the Hotel Grand Regina instead (but no one told us until we arrived, had to ask the local newsagent who said to go to the Regina and ask!)
Being told we had been moved!
