Loved the concept the family have done to renovate old properties in the village and give them a new life. It was great fun wandering around the village to go for breakfast etc. Buildings were old but all in great condition and clean. Quite a lot of stairs to climb for our room though, made more challenging whilst being 6 months pregnant! Staff very helpful. It was nice to see the lady owner involved in the day to day operations. Breakfast in the village restaurant was wholesome and yummy. Going there for dinner was good but on the pricey side. It has held Michelin stars in the past, but not clear if they still have one though. Parking was a short distance away but all instructions and support from the staff was great to help us find the property.

Breakfast only started at 7.30am - would have been helpful to start at 7am as we had to rush for our plane afterwards

The layout of the hotel is super interesting and a special experience for sure. The different facilities were spread out and it made for a resort-style feel. The staff at breakfast were wonderful. The hotel lobbies were lovely places to sit and work. Parking in the area is very easy and accessible.

The wifi in the town (overall) isn't strong. It's possible to access wifi but it's hard to find a spot with strong connection. Our room was on the third floor with no elevator, not an issue but would've been nice to know in advance.

The room was in the centre of the beautiful village of San Quirico. The check-in worked wonderfully. There is free parking outside the village. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and the service there was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The bathroom in our room was very small and narrow.

A fancy place in a cute little town! Perfect stop on our tuscany road trip. We also got a nice upgrade, the room was beautiful. Recommend!

We booked our stay on the same day and directions given by the hotel on booking.com was a bit off. But we managed to find it after a while!

The restaurant from the hotel was really delicious (for breakfast and dinner). The room was clean and well furnished. The host Lorenzo was very friendly and helpful. San Quirico d'Orcia is a nice small town and for few days really perfect.

We had a mix up and as it’s not possible to park at the rooms we were moved to Villa Liberty - which was excellent.

Well…. What can I say? This place is the most beautiful renovation. A fusion of modern stylish architecture in and old property. Brilliantly done. The owner… we did not meet but …. The owner’s comms were excellent at ALL times. Friendly.. and the person on the front desk downstairs was a delight… It’s at the quieter end of San Quirico and there are two lovely stone benches outside the property where you can sit and look at the view. Just loved this place…

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was organised well beforehand - the key box and key card to the room was explained properly. The room was quite nice with a new bathroom. It was quiet at night. Cute little town!

Pulling trolleys up from the parking lot was a little bit challenging, but doable.

Andrea is a warm and welcoming host who has designed and renovated his family home into beautifully appointed guest rooms. He is clearly dedicated to ensuring his guests have an enjoyable stay and was very helpful in providing recommendations and information for our stay and onward journey. The space is modern, stylish, clean, comfortable and perfectly located in the historic centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Murarotte and highly recommend it.
