The breakfast was simple yet satisfying. It was appropriate for the surroundings. I will never forget the wonderful start to every day in the convent…hearing the nuns repeating their uplifting prayers down the corridor. The location of the convent was perfect too.

Absolutely no improvement could be made. The nuns, young and old, we’re constantly happy and keen to make guests feel welcome. Silence was indeed golden here, and the informal atmosphere in a ‘working’ convent belied the serious side the the nuns’ beliefs.

Nice palce for a two nights stay.

The access is a bit complicated since you need to ring the front bell at the entrance door and wait for somebody to open. This means that you shall disturb the hostess if you arrive late. This may be unpleasant. The parking is not quite near the place, you must walk for several minutes. Late at night when it is a bit cold this may also be not quite nice.

The hotel is an active convent. The accommodation was two rooms plus large bathroom. It is very quiet and peaceful. The buffet breakfast was very good.

The Wi-fi was good in our room but a notice showing the password would have been helpful. The convent is inside the town's 'Zona Traffico Limitato' so you can't drive there without risking a fine. We parked in the car park in Via Cappuccini which is a short walk from the convent.

It is a working convent so keep that in mind. Dont go in expecting concierge. The rooms are tidy with incredible views. The breakfast is perfect for my needs. My bathroom was inexplicably large.

Unique experience of staying in an active convent, located right in the middle of the historical commune. Absolutely perfect location and beautiful place. Breakfast buffet simple but nicely peaceful.

Clean, comfortable beds and air conditioned rooms.

You have to leave the key on a table when you leave, and ring the doorbell to get back in. There is nowhere comfortable to hang out in the daytimes when it is hot; the nuns need a hammock or two!

The thrill of staying in a convent built in 1500

Hard to communicate with the sisters because they didn't speak English and we didn't speak Italian.

It was a great ambiance. The homemade cookies of the nuns. The freshest fruit. The rooms were big. For kids it is also a great experience. The were turtles in the garden (even though we did not find them, it is nice to know :)

The bed made a lot of sound when moving the body (but they were good though). Don't expect a breakfast with a cappuccino made for you but a great sober and nice breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay at the Convento. The accommodation was cool, calm and clean. The sisters couldn’t have been more welcoming, kind and flexible. We stayed at the property for a wedding outside the town and were flexible about us staying out late.

Nothing. I liked everything.
