It was a very pleasant hotel to stay a few days on a sandy beach in Ligure. Staff is very friendly and there are 3 really good restaurants including great sushi. Breakfast is good.The sunbeds are a little bit dated, but that's okay. The bus to Savona stops in front of the hotel. You pay for extra parking if you park in the garage

We arrived on a Sunday and the parking was full. It would be nice if they reserve a few places for arriving guests. And they need a 2nd coffee machine for breakfast😜

This hotel is amazing. I was hesitant because of some other reviews. I thought everything about this hotel was exceptional. The staff is great , facilities wonderful . The view and balcony amazing. The bathtub was fantastic. The desk encouraged me to write in my journal with the sound of the ocean and view. The breakfast was excellent. The first night I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Everything was perfect. I loved this hotel so much and found it very hard to leave.

This has nothing to do with the property- the taxi cabs are some of the most expensive in all the areas of Italy I have traveled so be prepared for that.

Very comfortable hotel. Dinner in the first class Michelin restaurant was very special and staff managed to squeeze us in for the early sitting even though it was officially full, greatly appreciated. The sun came out next morning so we could take breakfast on the pretty terrace near the sea.

The coastline around Savona isn't very pretty as you can see great big cranes and other rusting industrial contraptions in the sea. I wouldn't want to spend my holidays here, but fine for an overnight stay. The only lift we could find was very small and badly situated on the ground floor in a very narrow corridor. I have mobility issues and relied on this lift to get to and from my room and had to wait ages for it, with other people having to squeeze past with prams etc, Badly designed afterthought, I think.

It was a good hotel for an overnight between Chamonix and Florence. I had booked the 'hill view', which was a mistake. If you're staying here always go for the sea view. 'Hill view' is really a view of a the hotel across the road and a builders yard. Very good breakfast.

We went for dinner in the bistro - it was two thirds empty, but they insisted on seating us at a table two feet from some other diners. We left and asked Reception to recommend somewhere else - they sorted it immediately and we got a table away from others with a view of the pool.

Beach in front of the hotel !!! and the hotel personnel always trying to make their guests happy. Among the hotels that we booked for our 3-week vacation, this was one of the most expensive ones and the only reason for this was to have the beach in front of the hotel. My teenage sons were very happy with the small islands (boats?) which they could lie down or dive from. The water was so clean that they could see some small fish. For dinner, we booked a table at Lido dei Pini (just beside the hotel) and they prepared a table outside just in front of the beach (food was amazing, esp. the crema di pistachio). We asked for some exceptions here and there to the hotel personnel and they were always very friendly and made their best to accommodate our needs.

On every Monday, there is a DJ night. It was exactly on the day of our stay but we got informed beforehand + our room was not facing to the sea, so we did not hear much. However, if you need a quiet evening, better to avoid Monday. The hotel beach officially closes at 19:00 (but you can stay longer in the sea as it is just beside the public beach).

Really very nice stay - location on beach is excellent, couldn't be better. Savona is not the most attractive of Ligurian towns but the hotel is an oasis.

Internet was not reliable in the room, we were on second floor - needed it for meetings, had to go to reception area or anywhere nearby even the beach - worked well there....

Lovely hotel - beautiful beach, amazing Sushi Bar and beautiful good quality restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Lisa - very friendly, helpful, smiley and very welcoming. Breakfast was ok - would be great if could have more hot food choices but rather than that everything was great. Nice and clean room, take beach view - otherwise you will be facing the street. Sushi bar - you must try! Maka a reservation and you will definetly enjoy it. Swimming pool is great for kids and it's very clean! Beach is beautiful and sandy. Location, it's good.. However, I would go to Spotorno side for dinner rather than Savona. Spotorno has more tourist spirit with little restaurants and streets around. Savona - is busy, for shopping etc. The hotel is between two choices calm and busy so it's great if you have a car and can discover things around. I would definitely come back!

Lovely hotel right on the beach, friendly staff and very nice swimming pool on two levels. We were 6 adults and 2 young children - the children loved the pools and were watched very well by a lifeguard although they swim well. Rooms were very spacious, lovely bathrooms and staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet was good.

We were disappointed in the evening as when we went down to dinner there was only a choice of 2 dishes for each course on the menu. I think this was because the hotel was fairly quiet, also it was only May. However, they directed us to a good restaurant nearby, only about 50 metres away.

very nice people working in the hotel (housekeeping) and the service in the restaurant / very nice food and a great winelist / show cuisine inside, spacious terrace outside / very nice garden plants and accessories

the "bagninos" are very unfriendly and put us (old couple) in the back among family with young children. even if half of the sunbeds in front were empty all day, we were not allowed to choose other chairs to spend our beach days.... not on the second day either - very annoying.

The staff was extremely helpful and very kind. The location is amazing. The hotel looks really good, there is huge space to sit outside surrounded by so many plants and greenery which I loved. it’s right at the beachfront. Even if we were here in Feb we had a very relaxing time. And always go for the room with sea view..it looks just amazing and the view is so serene especially in the morning!
