This is a lovely small hotel right in the middle of Sorrento making it easy to walk through the city and enjoy the passiagiato of the city! There were many restaurants and much shopping nearby and we walked to the train station. That is a good walk and if we had heavier luggage I would certainly take a cab which were plentiful. There were gardens and look out points that were lovely. We, also, walked to the ferry to spend a day in Capri. This is also a good walk and you go down, down to get to the water which means you have to go up, up to reach the town. The hotel was very comfortable, pretty in white and blue, great showers and we had a balcony with a lemon tree right over a little table. It was all lovely. The breakfasts were very good and you could get the additional treat of smelling the staff cooking the cakes for the next day in the afternoon. We were very glad we made our choice when we spoke to people staying only a short distance out of town who spend long times in traffic trying to reach Sorrento for activities and food.

The location was in great proximity to Piazza tasso and right next door to a grocery store. The room was spacious and bright! The staff (older gentleman) the evening we arrived was very helpful that he helped us with our multiple luggages.

Although the hotel was very bright and welcoming with very charming decor, The stairs getting to the check-in desk is not mobility or travel friendly in bringing your luggage up. The elevator starts on the following level from the checkin desk. Also, we had ants in the bathroom of the room we were staying in, however we didn’t address it to the front as it was our last night and we were able to remove them and keep them at bay.

We had a brilliant two night stay at Hotel Mignon, we were greeted upon arrival by Carla who was very friendly and provided us with recommendations for local restaurants and options for travel back to Naples airport. Our room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is laid out well and the interior is very nice. Breakfast included which was a bonus and during the mornings we were able to sit in the outside area when eating breakfast admiring the lemon trees as the hotel is located next to the historical restaurant ‘O'Parrucchiano La Favorita’. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sorrento, it is a beautiful place and we will definitely be back. The reception staff were very friendly as were the breakfast staff and housekeeping staff.

Only recommendation would be more variety for breakfast and to potentially have a fridge in the room.

Location was perfect- right in the heart of Sorrento, with shopping and restaurants and even a grocery store right next door. A few blocks from the water and easily accessible to taxi or van pick up. A great parking lot about 1/2 block away which was large and very accessible and reasonable price. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, always with a smile and happy answer questions. The room and dining area were spotless. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of food available. There was a balcony off our room which was spacious and had beautiful fruit trees in view.

the receptionists in the hotel were always so friendly and helpful and always greeted you with a smile no matter what time of the day it was. the location was really central, the main plaza was only a 5 minute walk away and the shops and restaurants were easily reached within a 2 minute walk, also located beside a supermarket which was really handy! the breakfast was good and served a bit of everything that you needed and the kitchen staff were always so lovely and accommodating. great 3 night stay where i felt relatively safe!

We loved the interior design-care was taken in the details on windows and doors to provide a quiet experience in a loud environment. Our room had a lovely balcony with a view of the lemon trees from a favorite restaurant across the way. The gardens and outdoor seating areas were very nice. The staff were very helpful as we were both sick with colds and they let us have trays for breakfast on the balcony, gave us an electric kettle for hot tea in the room and tots of bourbon with honey to soothe our throats. Good location to main drag where the shopping and restaurants were.

The room really was tiny-luggage was a challenge but got everything organized. Lots of steps in and out of property. Not enough luggage help. Taxi's can't drop off or pick up directly at the property for some reason so dragging your luggage from the taxi stand over cobbled streets yourself is not happy time. They do not have water views unfortunately. You must seek those out yourself. The fireplace does not work-they should fix that if they can. It would have made an amazing difference in the breakfast/lobby seating area.

Great location - moments away from the main centre. The decor was modern and colourful. Breakfast was simple but good if you like sweet things for breakfast. Mini bar in room was reasonable and well stocked.

Nothing major - breakfast was the same everyday and no toaster to toast bread to go with the scrambled eggs. View from our room wasn’t amazing (effectively facing directly onto another building). Lots of stairs with no lift to get you to the first floor - which was tough with bags.

There was nothing not to like about Hotel Mignon: it’s right in the city center, walking distance from the Marina & the train station, with lots of shops and restaurants right around the corner. It’s a very clean & quiet location, very authentic, with very nice helpful staff at the reception, breakfast and cleaning. We had an amazing stay and we will definitely come back.

If I would be really picky i would say that the water pressure in the shower was very low, but it wasn’t such a big problem unless you needed to wash your hair.

Breakfast was lovely we only had the fruit and yoghurt. Loved the location for Sorrento area just need more days visiting. Room was great, good size and great location. Fab WiFi was excellent top

Room could done with tea spoons, milk for the drinks as didn't have any in the room. Unfortunately had noisy neighbours in the night who were very loud in the bedroom which kept us awake or woke us up during the night. Tv was difficult to find English speaking channels or subtitles on shows.

The hotel is in a perfect location, on a street just behind the cathedral. The rooms are lovely, and the breakfast room was so inviting, not just the furnishings but with the scent of home baked pies, cakes and pastries! A delicious, full breakfast included scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt , juices and more. But the staff is what made this hotel stand out. They were efficient, kind, and helpful. Carla assisted us with restaurant recommendations and shared local information about the neighborhood and schools of Sorrento. We were able to store our luggage and allowed to use the facilities all day after we checked out, as we were leaving on a late afternoon bus. Courtesies like these are really appreciated when you travel independently. Thanks for a wonderful two night stay!
