Excellent location and not too difficult to find if arriving by car. Sea views somewhat obscured by a large tree but our room worked and the terrace was spacious.

My only caution is that if your car is looked after by the valet parking, it takes longer than the hotel sometimes suggest to retrieve it. When you get to Toamina you will understand why, but if they say 10 mins, allow at least 20 and probably 30 to be on the safe side. That said, when we were late for a boat trip which was partly our fault for cutting it fine, the staff very helpfully phoned ahead to let our hosts know who said they would wait for us. In genera the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location Walked EVERYWHERE NEVER given clear directions to beach below great skybar vibe w plenty of seating the whole trip could be summarized “ begging for ice and dinner reservations in a post Netflix Italian coastal showcase! Isola is worth the ridiculous $50€ per chase price

right above GREAT PIZZA but noisy till 2300 Not enuf staff , waited for drinks 1/2 hr at peak time . 1 guy can NOT serve 30 guests the most expensive rosso by the glass were pedestrian $20€! Ramaddini 2018 Patrono which i bought in Messamina by describing a fruit forward 14% d’ Avola should be in your cellar @ $24 € a bottle u could justify a $20 glass!! A $50 coffee machine could allow early rising Americans access to coffee @ 0600 on the deck !! I felt awful bugging the help at 0700 when they weren’t accustomed to such requests

We stayed here for 2 nights 23rd to 25th of March . I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and would give 6 stars if possible . From the moment we walked in after a long plane journey /drive we were totally blown away by it . You enter the hotel on the 3rd floor and from the 3rd floor through the lounge there is the most amazing view of Taormina and the sea and of snow capped mount Etna beyond . The staff were without exception friendly and so helpful and attentive , going to great lengths to direct us to the hotel in the first place and then to park our hire car for us . Nothing seemed too much trouble and they went out of their way to help us have the best stay in Taormina The room was large with a lovely balcony looking over the garden and a really comfy bed , and fantastic shower . Breakfast was a wonderful spread of pastries , cereals , fruit and cheeses and meats . Also the best cappuccino we had all holiday ! Access to the old town from the hotel is through the garden which is delightful , full of citrus trees and exotic plants . Literally a 2 minute walk into the town. The hotel also has a stunning terrace area where we sat in the sunshine and had pre dinner drinks and enjoyed the phenomenal views (see photos ) we were even bought blankets when the sun went in and it got cooler . I looked at a number of hotels before choosing this one most of which were significantly more expensive we thought this was exceptionally good value . We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Taormina , Thankyou so much for having us !

Location was a short stroll all of 2 minutes to the Piazza on the central strip where all the restaurants and retail was found. while there was no parking available as understandable, the staff were more than happy to take the car and pick up the car from the parking station. Parking was charged at 20Euro as a private operator. Nightlife was basically at your doorstep. Staff at the hotel were fantastic and eager to assist.

we had no problems

The blonde girl at front desk went above and beyond for us. She also remembered anything and everything we asked. The others weren't as pleasant and some got most things confused.

The servers were very unfriendly. Poor service. Very slow and when questioned would apologize but then had alot of attitude towards us. We stopped ordering drinks there and meals. Shower was very small. About 2'x2'. Every time I moved my elbow it turned the handle hot, cold or off

The views and location were wonderful. The rooftop bar was perfect for lunch when we arrived early and the views toward Mt. Etna for breakfast were very nice - wish the skies had been clearer. The front desk remembered a message from weeks prior and were able to provide a room upgrade. We appreciated the friendly staff in the bar and breakfast area. Excellent service. The room was clean and contemporary with a modern bathroom and large shower.

Everything about the hotel was lovely. Every single member of staff was friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. The location was perfect - just a short walk from the ancient and picturesque streets. The room was spacious and well equipped, spotless and nicely furnished and it was a welcome surprise when complementary fruit arrived whilst we were settling in after a long journey. There are so many places to eat in Taormina but the roof bar and restaurant is a not only a stylish place to have breakfast but also somewhere to relax with a cocktail and enjoy the spectaculr views when the sun sun starts to go down.

Nothing!

Comfortable , clean, excellent staff, good location. The shortcut through the garden was very good ( though on the way back you have to think about the stairs if you are old )

More cheese and olive variety could have been nice for the breakfast. We stayed at the superior renovated room and highly recommend the these rooms. The entrance of the hotel should be renovated as well to give a boost to the overall hotel quality .

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Offered a parking space outside which was so helpful. Did have to pay but worth it for the location. Gorgeous balcony with a view of Taormina and mount Etna :) we had nice sunset drinks and snacks. Great olives! We had the standard room and it was fine for one night. It was clean and had all you needed. Comfortable bed :)

The bathroom and shower area were quite small. But everything else was good.

* Fantastic terrace for breakfast (in the morning) and drinks (in the evening) with a panoramic view of the coast below and Etna in the distance. * Food was surprisingly good. We'd spent one evening wandering around Taormina, looking for somewhere 'nice' with outside seating...and after having had a drink on the terrace, decided to eat at the hotel. I'm not sure the view could be bettered, and the service & food were great - you should definitely eat here at least one evening! * Rooms were well-appointed. We'd requested one with a balcony, which was actually a balcony rather than a 'ledge' so we could have our sundowner G&Ts in peace! Oh and there was a fridge in the room + the bar was happy to supply ice. Big thumbs up!

Very little...so tiny quibbles: * Our room overlooked the outdoor pizza oven from next door's restaurant...so when that got going, a relaxing G&T on the balcony wasn't quite as relaxing! * Front desk - not the largest or most efficient (when we were there) so you could be waiting a while at busier times
