Everything! The location is amazing. Rohid is a Brilliant host, manager. The accom has a beautiful peaceful garden setting in the pedestrian strip - a wonderful Surprise! Decor really charming. Lovely large room With great facilities. Breakfast beautifully presented and eaten in the garden!

The B&B was in the centre of the town on a pedestrian mall. This made it very close to all the relevant sites including many restaurants. It had a large garden outdoor area which is normally used for breakfast or just relaxing. The room was quite large and comfortable and very quiet overnight and in morning (although a bit noisy during the day and early evening). The walk-in shower was appreciated. The host was very helpful and made some suggestions on places to eat. The breakfast was continental style with good choice. It was cool when we stayed but the room was comfortable with a reverse cycle air conditioner.

The down side was that you have to walk 300 metres (5 mins) to the B&B from the closet taxi drop off, 20 m beyond the Porta Catania (Gate). This was not a problem for us as when we arrived as it was very quiet, but when visiting Taormina separately some weeks before, the pedestrian mall was packed with people. The local taxis have a special pick-up and drop-off spot next to post office near to the Catania Gate. For folks arriving by local bus from the train station it is about 13 min walk to B&B from the local bus terminus which is at the Porta Messina end of mall. Our room was two flights of stairs from the entrance with no lift. The host carried our bags to our room but people with mobility issues may find the stairs and the location a bit difficult.

We thought the central location was excellent, entered from the high street but beautifully peaceful and private inside. The staff were extremely responsive and friendly, so we don't have a single complaint about the service! We never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a WhatsApp reply, and nothing was too much to ask. We enjoyed the pool and dining area. The air con in the rooms kept us very comfortable, and we found the beds comfortable. For a short stay in Taormina this is a winner!

We loved this B&B and would visit again, however one area that could be improved from our point of view was the breakfast. Little things like the fruit not being quite ripe enough to eat, the tomatoes being a bit past their best, and the lack of variety of fresh cheeses and breads added it up to make us feel that this was the only disappointing thing. We feel this would be a 10/10 if they could improve on the 'breakfast' B in B&B.

Rohid, the manager and his small staff were incredibly helpful, kind and accommodating. Our room with the large terrace was well worth the additional expense. In late November we had the property mostly to ourselves. A very charming place to stay.

The property is very special. We were less enthusiastic about Taormina. Mostly tourist restaurants and expensive retail. The tram down to the beach is fun and a great beach to swim and SUP- even in late November. Also the hike up to the castle is a good choice- lovely panorama. Taormina is well preserved and spotless. We find typical cities and towns of Sicily more authentic, but off season- it was a good visit.

Location was amazing right in the centre next to the main square, very clean and great facilities to enjoy! The hot tub and Hammock area is fantastic. I also loved the joining balcony as we were staying with friends as 2 couples with separate rooms and were elated to find we had a joining balcony to sit out and play cards and a glass of wine before heading out to dinner. Lots of mini bar choices too

The breakfast was basic compared to other places I have stayed in Italy. Lots of sweet/cake choices however no hot food available. It wasn’t a huge deal but would be a nice touch to have an omelette or something to start the day off.

Fantastic location in Taormina, easy walking distance from Porta Catania. Beautiful and spacious with a lovely outdoor area to have breakfast. Our host was very helpful and responsive both prior to arriving and during our stay. Breakfast is a simple fare, but perfect for us but may not suit others expecting a full American breakfast. We recommend exploring restaurants, lots available off the main streets to your right as you walk away from the cathedral towards Porta Messina (opposite end) and also steps down towards the public gardens which are a must see with spectacular views, sculptures, buildings and get away from the crowds.

Nothing at all, it was perfect especially given this was our first visit to Taormina.

My husband and I have recently stayed in a charming accommodation in Taormina, and our experience was exceptional, thanks to Rohid's outstanding assistance. From the moment we arrived, Rohid's warm welcome and attention to detail set the the tone for a wonderful stay. Our room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The jacuzzi was a standout feature, perfect for unwinding with breathtaking scenery. Rohid helped to book a fantastic restaurant for us. He even prepared us some food once we came back from our excursion. He ensured our room was always in a pristine condition and provided excellent assistance with our luggage. Rohid's dedication to guest satisfaction and personal approach significantly enhanced our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation and commend Rohid for his exceptional hospitality.

We had a fantastic stay at Relais 147. Our room had a balcony that faced the main throughfare of Taormina but it was quiet. We were in a great location; right on the main street of Taormina close to main Piazza, close to restaurants. The buffet breakfast with seating in the garden area was very good. Rohid was an exceptional host and was very helpful on any infomation required. Taormina is very hectic but this place was an oasis in amongst the chaos. Note: the hotel does not have car parking so we parked the car at the Porta Catania. It has plenty of parking and is only a short walk to the hotel.

No major issues

Absolutely stunning property to be found through a secret 1000 year-old gated wall, off the main street. A true hidden gem. Our host, Rohid and his wife keep this hidden gem luxuriously immaculate and authentic. From the jazz music playing through the courtyard on entry, the various books you can borrow to read by the jacuzzi - to the breakfast service - it really was amazing. For anyone with a slightly more refined/classical taste and who tend to steer away from the more 'resort' style of holiday - this it is. Highly recommended and when back to the Island, will be returning.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the town.

The beach at Isola Bella is overrated, we found it horrible, overpriced €130 for a bed. No where to sit and no chairs allowed! We found a lovely beach by asking a Taxi man and we just went there most days. The Lidò provided a mini bus service that was free to and from the Town thank god! as the taxi would have cost €40 a day! Extremely overpriced and overcrowded. We made the most of our week there.
