The location was wonderful, about 60 yards from Taormina Central Train Station and a short bus ride to the city center. Also a short walk to the restaurants of Gardini- Naxos. The Pensione is owned and operated by a husband and wife, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The breakfast each morning was perfect. While the terrace on the roof over looking the bay, was a relaxing way to end each busy day with a glass of wine. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Absolutely nothing negative. In doing research, the sound of the trains is mentioned, since the building sits next to the tracks on a busy line. However, they do not run after 11PM, it is extremely quiet after this time.

Private secure parking, near/on main road to Naxo/beachfront (walkable, driveable and public transportation), decent "carb breakfast" with any type of coffee, dated but clean rooms. Small family run hotel with husband, wife and niece. Started off a bit rocky as owner was not pleased that I wanted the available room located at the front with view of mountain and road versus rear room with view of railway tracks, but after that, all was good. They were being thoughtful in initially offering the rear room as they felt the front room, facing road, may be too noisy, but with the doors closed at night, the room was quiet. The niece was very helpful with directions, points of interest and open to address any questions. Others good as well. Overall experience quite positive.

I only mention this as a note and not necessarily as a negative. The front door exits directly onto the main road, which is usually very busy and fast. This is the road that leads to the main strip/beach area and very close to the road leaving little to no space to safely walk. This may be considered somewhat "the norm" in several areas within Sicily.

Cleanest, most comfortable and welcoming stay I’ve had in my last month backpacking. Staff are lovely and welcoming, super clean, location great with a very frequent bus stop 30 seconds from the hotel which takes you to Taormina bus terminal centre and isola Bella starting very early and finishing past midnight. Much nicer staying in this area as it’s out of the main crows and only a 5 minute walk to lovely emerald green beaches couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! 5 mins from train station also! Perfect stop for Etna excursions which generally leave from the Taormina bus terminal.

Hotel Pensione Cundari is a lovely little hotel very close to Taormina Giardini train station. We unfortunately only could stay for one night, but we absolutely hope to return there! The room was extremely clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous! And most of all, the gracious hosts made sure to make us feel very welcome and taken care of. Since the train station is just a 2-min walk away, it is easy to take the hop on hop off bus (the red one) which takes you everywhere around the area, all day long, so it is very easy to get back to the hotel after a long and beautiful day in this magical place on Earth.

It was the best stay of my life! We were welcomed by the lovely owners who gave us great suggestions on how to explore the place, plus they were the reason we visited a local festival and explored nearby Naxos. The room was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in, extremely clean, comfortable, making you feel like you are on vacation at your family’s summer house. Plus, the breakfast was fantastic. We had a great stay and we will definitely come back to the same place for another unforgettable experience. Thank you Maria & Angelo, see you again!

Excellent location if you are staying overnight to visit Taormina. Bus to Taormina stop is 100 metres from the hotel (1,5 EUR for 1 way) . The accomodation offers free closed parking space which is also a huge bonus. It was very clean, staff excellent. We got all the necessary information

The property is right next to the train tracks and the whole building shook when the fast trains passed by, even if we had a room on the other side of the building - there was also very noisy traffic. It was heavy to sleep.

Family of 4 stayed here & we loved that we had plenty of room to spread out with 2 separate bedroom & 2 bathrooms. Hotel staff were lovely when we checked in later than we said we would. A secure carspace was provided free of charge. Hotel was located a short walk to nice restaurants & hotel staff provided a lovely breakfast for my family in the dining room consisting of cappuccino, hot chocolate, pot of tea, croissants, rolls, spreads, yogurts, fresh fruit, cake which was all delicious. Great hospitality as they were really nice people.

This small b&b takes you back in time both in the way it looks (very simple furniture, small rooms) and the way you are treated: the owners are there FOR YOU! They greet you at the reception, they serve you a wonderful breakfast, make you coffee to start your day nice :) You can feel that this business is their life and they appreciate that you have chosen them. Be prepared though, that the place is situated between the rails and a very busy road (if you keep the windows and doors closed you can ignore all the noise).

The staff / owners here are so wonderful. So warm and lovely - it feels like you’re at a good family gathering. I had a better welcome here than at some 5* hotels. The receptionist talked me through all the sites to visit in Taormina on a map, and even gave me a free bottle of water! The breakfast was great too, all the food was very fresh and the coffee superb. Thank you!

The WiFi was quite slow, but the people that work there were so fantastic that it doesn’t matter that much to me.

The accommodation is absolutely fine, and the staff is exceptionally kind. We appreciate how they welcomed us and explained the possibilities about Taormina and its attractions. Next to the accommodation, there is a pizzeria where they make perfect (*****) pizza, and there is also a store where you can get all other delicacies. And the private parking also perfect.

Next to the accommodation, there are trains passing by. It's not very disturbing during the day, and at night, only one train passed by, but it went at an enormous speed and caused quite a shake :)
