We Stayed there for four days. In those four days Domus Vezuvia went from a regular airBnB to a home. We got there very late on a hot summer and were right away received by Alberto who was quick to provide with anything we might need that was at their disposal. During the next few days we were treated like family by everyone there and also the places they did business with. For someone looking for a cheap and cozy option look no further. This place made Italy for us and we are dying to come back to have another beer with Alberto and play with the beautiful kittens. We are truly thankful for the way we were treated in this humble Airbnb. Thank you once again Alberto and Andrea.

Our visit couldn't be better. Hosts and owners were the most welcoming people we have ever met. They were always helpful and they were always checking if we have everything we need. Our room was spacious, had a small kitchenette and very nice bathroom and everything surrounded by the very nice garden. Location of the B&B is 5 minutes walk from circumvesuviana. Another perk of the location is a big market (conad) and bar for morning coffe and pastries. We've had a luck to rent a scooter with a delivery to the place of our stay with cost of only 50€ a day (125cc). I already miss this place and I really would like to come back

Everything was perfect

We really enjoyed staying at Domus Vesuvia. Our friendly host told us a lot about the neighbourhood and country. There were a lot of friendly cats in the backyard, which was a nice extra. Room and bathroom were perfect for the 2 days we stayed there. Location was great, near a supermarket, trainstation, bus stops and a 40 minute walk to Pompeii.

When we got there, we were told we needed to pay to use the kitchen, we didn’t except that. There was a common area which had utensils, coffee maker and microwave though. The jacuzzi was already gone, because it wasn’t summer season anymore. We had been looking forward to this a lot.

The room was pretty clean and spacious. We particularly liked how comfortable the bed and pillows were, the nice shower and great garden with a bunch of kitties! A/c worked great. We could also use the washing machine which is a bonus. The place is also super close to the Villa di Poppea Ruins, which is super cool and no one was there other than us. There’s a comunal area with coffee and tea. There’s a big grocery store right in front of the place. The price is very good for the room you get.

The location is not great, the town is super chaotic, dirty streets and there’s no good restaurants. The “easy” train ride to either Napoli or Pompeii is completely packed with people in July. We were quite surprised with the note in the kitchen saying we had to pay 30 euros to use it, although the host clarified it was included in the price but was so concerned we were gonna make it dirty. It does not say that in the post on booking. It also says that toiletries are provided, there was only hand soap. No shampoo or even body wash. Overall we just didn’t feel welcomed, we felt like they were doing us a favour. There were also ants everywhere in the bathroom. Wifi worked very, very poorly.

Although property located near busy street, our room (and, I guess, other rooms too) were facing inner yard, where it was very quiet, and no traffic noises were heard, so we could even sleep with windows open. Apartment gave a bit of impression of summerhouse, since we had terrace and inner yard around. There is great pizzeria nearby and shopping mall just across the street. Room was cleaned every day.

We had an allergic reaction to something in the room - probably some cleaning agent or maybe hidden mould. (although, I usually have no allergies indoors, I had stuffy nose after a couple of hours in the room, but my partner started coughing and had breathing difficulties)

Alberto and his wife are great! They were available at any hour and gave us an answer to any request even beyond the service of the apartment, helped us find scooters for rent, took us for a small tour of the town, really charming. Their recommendations for the trip are worth it! When we arrived at the apartment we were greeted by their son Andrea who was very thorough in explaining the apartment and right after that Alberto arrived who gave his knowledge about everything that is happening in the area. Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality!

The accommodation was very excellent. Alberto and his family are kind, hospitable and helpful hosts. We received maximum service in everything from morning coffee to evening drink specials and scooter rental. We had a spacious, comfortable, well-equipped apartment. Opposite the accommodation is a Conad grocery store and pastry shop. The station is 400 meters from where trains go every half hour in both directions: Naples and Sorrento. Pompeii 5 minutes by train, 2 stops. Vesuvius is under our feet. With the help of Alberto, we rented a small scooter at a very friendly price. The beach at Torre Annunziata is excellent, for 18 euros you can rent 2 beds with umbrellas for a day, the sea is constantly rolling, excellent for swimming and riding waves, the beach is black sand. We highly recommend it to everyone who wants family-friendly, quieter accommodation with a real Italian atmosphere. In the garden, you can relax under the lemon, mandarin and orange trees on comfortable garden furniture and in the jacuzzi.

The apartment was beautiful, the hosts were amazing, they were there for anything we needed. Alberto was wonderful and gave extra touches that he didn’t need to which was lovely, we will miss him so much. The apartment was clean and comfortable and easy to get to from the station. The black sand beach is a 25 minute walk but it was amazing. There was also a little cat that came to see us every morning which we loved.

It hasn’t much in the area to do and you do have to travel to get around but this was okay.

Nice structure with garden and a little spa pool. Clean room and bathroom. Close to Pompei, Ercolano and Vesuvius by car or public transport. Andrea, the host, was very kind and helpful. Pets are accepted with a low price supplement. Overall, it was a value-for-money experience.

The bed was a little bit narrow in our room. Although we did not need it, the kitchen was out of use.

perfect location for us, right in the middle between naples and sorrento so we were able to get the train often to different places ! the property itself was also lovely. The B&b is also right opposite a supermarket which is incredibly practical for food & drink etc. 10-20 min walk from the beach so good !!

no issues !
