The suites are located within walking distance of parking, downtown, shopping, boardwalk, many historical sites, and restaurants. Our suite was large and well equiped. We truly enjoyed the architectual features of the suite and having the extra space. The furniture was comfortable to sit on in the living area. I also enjoyed perusing the books. Our bed was particularly comfortable to sleep in.

I would have liked to have had hooks for coats inside our suite near the door and a few throw rugs to warm up the floors. I would also recommend a rug in the hallway outside the suites to dampen the noise.

The apartment was lovely and clean with plenty of room. Well appointed apartment with interesting decoration and design that kept in with the theme of being "historical suites." We loved the glimpses of the tiled roof space through the glass (or perspex) ceilings. There were also a couple of little lounging nooks in the common areas that were available for use. It's handy to cafes, restaurants, and various sights of interest, including la Piazza della Unita. The property is located conveniently close to the train station if you’re not lugging heavy luggage around. We decided to take a taxi back to the train station on our departure, which the staff were kind enough to arrange for us. We would stay again.

I'm not a big fan of stairs, and since the apartments are cleverly built into the roof space, there was no option but to climb a flight or two once we got out of the lift. While it does state that upper floors are only accessible by stairs, there's actually no lower floors available, so there is no option but to take stairs to the reception area and then up again to the rooms. Fortunately, the gentleman who saw us up to the apartment was most helpful with assisting us with our luggage. Unfortunately, the kettle was very slow to boil for some reason, and a microwave would have been handy, but again it's not stipulated that there is a microwave so it's just an observation that it would be good to have. The kettle being slow was just a minor issue, which I meant to advise but forgot.

This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in. It was like living in a museum. Everything was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was done for our convenience for example dishwasher tablets, water, cream for coffee, aqua di Parma toiletries, slippers…. We were so comfortable and so happy here. It’s honestly the most lovely place we’ve ever stayed in . We loved looking at all the art books particularly HipHotels which had an index of similar places to stay. Thank you so much.

The location was absolutely perfect. Right off the Grand Canal and surrounded by excellent restaurants, and the James Joyce statue. The room itself was stylish in a building from 1848 (or thereabouts) and the A/C worked very well, which was important on a hot July day. Definitely would come back again. Top scores across the board. Go raibh maith agat, Manuele!

Nothing, really. Parking can be tight, but we found a perfect spot around the corner thanks to our host.

Really an amazing suite in the middle of the city center - totally quiet, comfortable and stylish inside. Manuele from the team was great - he supported and helped with everything (parking/bike rental (bike parking inside)/insides etc.). I felt so taken care of even though I was traveling alone as a woman. Super nice to have water in the fridge daily, coffee pads, tea and kitchen supplies. Even though it was super hot outside -> inside you could choose the perfect temperature. WiFi also super which allowed me to work on my e-mails on a daily basis. Grazie Manuele and team

The apartment was roomy, clean and comfortable. It was in a fantastic location and conveniently close to cafes, ristorantes and shops. The staff were very helpful at all times, with Manuele ready to help with anything we needed. This was a short notice stay for us and happened to coincide with my wife’s birthday which was made very special by the complimentary bottle of Brut Spumante presented to her by our host. How thoughtful and kind.

The location cannot be better, whatever you want to see and enjoy in the city is in walking distance or if you want to go somewhere by car, it's easy because you can get a closed parking place very close to the property. The design of the rooms are really special, still everything is cosy. Kata was very kind and helpful, gave us many useful ideas to make the most of our stay.

I liked the different types of colognes in the lobby, the kitchen was nice. Bathroom was good shower was awesome.

The Wi-Fi wasn't as fast or strong that it should've been for the price that we paid for the room. certain spots/areas of the room have a weak Wi-Fi signal so it made streaming and downloading longer than it should've been. with some advice I would upgrade the Wi-Fi speed or package to the best that you can get in that area.

Convenient location on bus line/Hop On/Off, 1 block from canal, minutes from squares and port, lots of local shopping and food options nearby. Staff is pleasant, professional and present. Wonderful amenities! Full kitchen. Great communications!

One flight of stairs up to the suites from the apartment entry door restricts people with mobility issues (elevator to third floor however), round bed with square top sheet, but otherwise perfect.

This whimsical, arty place is very close to the Grand Canal in Trieste, great location for touring, restaurants, etc. The hotel is in a grand old building and felt secure. From the moment you enter the space you are awed by the artistic decor, the grand scale, the high ceilings and large rooms. Quirky collection of perfumes/ colognes to sample in the office area and a grand library for guest use. Our presidential suite was huge, especially the parlor area. Bedrooms were large and beds comfortable. Loved the jacuzzi tub! My adult son's one BR was still large and well appointed. Many large art books are lying on the tables- this hotel is featured in several of them.

Our suite had only a small mini fridge.
