The experience is exceptional , 6 little (very well designed and comfortable) houses in the middle of the jungle, elephants trumpets in the night, exceptional fresh made food (the best in Sri Lanka).Staff to ensure you have a great stay. I had amazing massages, steam baths and medical herbs bath. It is my second time there, and since the day I left the first time I wanted to come back with my little son. He also found it amazing, to swim in the swimming pool in the middle of the jungle, taking boat trips in the lake. It is a very peaceful place to get regenerated. The stuff did anything to please my son even changing menu to accommodate his taste. We couldn't wish anything better. In addition to this, it is a family business so we were happy to invest directly into the community

Nothing, everything perfect.

First of all the staff of the hotel were fantastic. Small but very effective team. From lady that cleaned our room, to the restaurant staff and main hosts. Really friendly and accommodating people. We were made to feel at home. Each morning at breakfast the waitress (Unfortunately didn't get her name) remembered which coffee we order. Antonio , was the waiter for evening time, and had good English and took on the role of interpreter , was really outstanding.

Breakfast was from 7.30 to 10.30 (from what I remember), the hot food had gone cold by the time we got there. Suggest to use gas heaters to keep the foot hotter for longer.

If you are after a traditional Italian family run hotel with a pool this hotel is perfect. Our garden bedroom was great, away from the noise of the road and the main hotel and cleaned every day. The buffet style breakfast was plentiful and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. The pool was very welcome after a day walking round Verona and the bus services into Verona (bus 33 - 15 mins, 2 euros) and Garda (bus 164 -80 mins 4 euros) are brilliant with bus stops right outside the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant serving lunches and evening meals, good food if a little pricey.

The pool on arrival was not particularly clean however after a couple of days it had been cleaned and was great for swimming and cooling down. The meals in the restaurant were quite expensive compared to restaurants in Verona.

This is a very special place. Gentility, tranquility and understated, gracious professionalism and kindness characteristics that seem to be equally applicable to the other guests in addition to the staff and the property. Set in tranquil parkland but still very assessable for Verona, this is as far from the big chains as you can get. This old family villa is family run and still has the authentic feel of a traditional Italian home. The menu is refined and executed to a very high standard with the same understated professionalism. An unique gem in a mass of ubiquity.

Nothing. We adored it but if you are wedded to Glass and Chrome decor, high energy urban vibe or noisy raucous environment, then this is not for you.

The hotel is older, but has a great atmosphere. We loved the setting of the chalets in the large garden with lots of shade and greenery. The staff were all very professional, the owner gave us recommendation on the best route for sightseeing Verona. It's true that it's about 20 minutes bus ride from Verona, but we managed fine. Would stay there again.

The dinner at the hotel is excellent, but definitely on the pricier side, which is probably why it's mostly deserted. Also, the restaurant is closed on Sundays so you have to travel elsewhere.

Everything was perfect, the personnel were extremely nice, breakfast was tasty, and the best part was location because we were travelling by car and liked the fact that it was a bit outside of the city, but still close. Our car was in the shade under the trees, which was great because it was boiling hot outside. Also, because of the location, spending the night there was very relaxing because it was calm and quiet, as well as the next morning.

Totally amazing hotel. The breakfast was lovely. The staff are amazing, so friendly, the restaurant is first class & as for the pool it was wonderful. It was never crowded. There was only me & another couple. The restaurant is right by the pool. It is a total diamond of a hotel. The staff are all hard-working and professional. The room I had was great, with a pool view, really did not want to leave. I will stay there again next time. Its a liitle way outside Verona, but it has a lovely garden & the bus goes frequently. But I didnt use it. The hotel is amazing! Thanks to all the staff for making my 2 days wonderful! 😁

Nothing. The hotel is first class, a total gem of a hotel.

Beautiful classic Italian hotel, fantastic setting, full of interesting classic Italian furniture , loved every minute there, staff were lovely and very helpful, fabulous pool, and only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the enchanting Verona. A must see, must try, best breakfast on our tour of Italy, thank you Antonio!

Restaurant was a bit pricy but delicious.

The hotel was perfect for us traveling between Milan and Venice. This was our main reason for staying here as bother were just over an hour to get too. The hotel itself was comfy and a good rest stop for us. Staff were very friendly and parking was also provided. Loved the old school feel and vibe to the hotel.

Our room was facing the road and there was quite a bit of traffic noise as its situated next to the main road.
