Great location wonderful breakfast. Rooftop lounge with great views. The best part about it was the staff, especially Francesca! I needed a drying rack as my laundry didn’t completely dry at the self-service laundromat that I found. I didn’t have time to wait for the hotel to do my laundry as I have been traveling for three weeks. I really needed to do some.Francesca showed up at my door with a drying rack, which was something this hotel didn’t normally provide, she was very patient with me and gave me a lot of good information

This is not a negative for the hotel, but I was surprised that there was no way for people to go to the opera in Verona, without paying a huge private car to bring you back, since the buses stop running around 10 PM and Ithe opera doesn’t normally finish till about 1 AM. Somebody with a little entrepreneurial spirit could put a business together, shuttling people back-and-forth. I ended up blowing off my last night room charge and renting a room in Verona, so that I could attend an opera during their 100 year anniversary at the Arena, I waited 10 years for that and I just didn’t want to miss it. It was so worth it!

Excellent location. Super roof terrace - lovely atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Breakfast buffet - good variety.

Ugly black mould in the shower cubicle. Reported it twice and the answer was ´we will inform housekeeping'. Was advised no other room available and yet there was still availability on Booking.com. That black mould has been there for a long time, Most unpleasant and needs to be addressed. Thankfully we were only staying one night. Avoid room 202.

Excellent concierge service! I arrived on Easter day and they suggested and booked a lovely restaurant for my dinner. It was fantastic. The room was super comfortable. Sadly the rooftop was not open during my stay, the view of the Basilica would have been breathtaking as the hotel is just 100 feet away.

My only dislike is that I didn't have more time to stay there. Wish it had been at least a two day trip. Vicenza really deserves more time to see all the sites, and this lovely hotel is the icing on the cake.

So central, the beautiful lively Palladio city just outside the door, yet relatively peaceful in a side street. Very friendly staff made us feel welcome. In the room, we liked the practical, dark wooden furniture, once made for the hotel; it gives a sense of history; probably designed for the hotel when it was established; still the hotel is all up to modern standards. Fantastic view over the city from shared roof terrace. We felt at home there for two days. Would definitely choose same hotel next time we go to beautiful Vicenca.

No real view from our room, and it was quite dark. (But there are rooms in hotel with good views). We would have appreciated the option to get a coffee in hotel; we had to take out from a bar close by. The bar on roof terrace was closed as it was off season (mid October).

Great location and value. The hotel staff was excellent and the rooftop bar (which I did not know about when booking) was amazing.. Breakfast was also very nice with a friendly service staff.

I could only stay one night... would've loved to have stayed longer. But If I had to pick/find one thing, perhaps the shower was a bit small. I'm an athletic 5'10" and 170lbs... I would imagine for someone larger it would be snug. But the water was hot and pressure good.

This hotel was a gem. Brilliant position just at the edge of the main piazza a stone’s throw from the Basilica Palladio. Very comfortable room and massive bathroom. Excellent breakfast, such friendly and helpful staff. As in most Italian cities, parking can be stressful but the detailed instructions the hotel gave us were very helpful. It was made easier because there was a remarkable lack of both foot and vehicle traffic in the historic centre. That’s the thing about Vicenza. It is so beautiful, so historically significant, so fascinating and enjoyable and with a fraction of the crowds of Verona.

Ideal location steps from the main plaza. Charming, historical hotel with beautiful furnishings from days gone by, so classic. Staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. Thanks to them for helping with touring the city. The breakfast was very nice, staff very attentive and friendly. Again, all surrounded by time period stylish furnishings. Room was spacious, sparkling clean with comfy beds, and large tiled floor & walls (unheard of today), and antique wood armoire and beds. The location was handy to all the restaurants, sites, etc. Ideal. Highly recommend this one-of-a-kind charming hotel. Kudos to the staff, including the kitchen staff.

Excellently located, a corner away from the central Piazza dei Signori and within reach of all main sites. At the same time, within 15 min walk from the trainstation. The hotel room was elegantly decorated with antique-looking furniture. Friendly staff. Not over-indulgent, but a good basic breakfast.

Our room overlooked a narrow street of the hotel's entrance, and was noisy at times during the night (even though I had specifically asked for a quiet room in my booking).

P. For a start, I was given access to my room earlier than the official check-in, which was a nice touch. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The lady lent me a charger for my phone. She also gave me a kettle and a mug so I could make myself a cup of tea. Airconditioning worked very well and my bed was very comfy. The bathroom was well equipped and clean. Breakfast was very good and varied. The breakfast lady was exceptionally nice and made us eggs and cappuccinos. The location was perfect for me as I was in Vicenza specifically for its Palladio architecture. Overall, I had a very good impression of the hotel.

The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the noise coming from a roof bar just above my room. The bar is open to the public, not just the hotel guests. Fortunately there was a fire door that effectively blocked the noise and I was allowed to keep it closed. I also kept the shutters closed. My second and third night were therefore much more comfortable. If you are not the light sleeper this may not be an issue at all. If you are, ask for a room on a different floor.

The location is perfect just by the Basilica and on foot everywhere else.the room was enormous with very large comfortable beds, armchair, good shower. The breakfast had eggs cooked on demand, hams and cheese, fresh fruit salad and fruit, croissants jams , cakes etc. The staff were very pleasant. The hotel has a lift.

I liked everything but my friend was in a room with a boiler above which was noisy.she was given another room after two days.
