This was a very quiet hotel. We didn't hear our neighbors or anyone in the hallways outside of our room. Our room access faced a courtyard which was a bit chilly in the mornings (air temp was in the upper 40°F/low 50°F during breakfast hours in December). This hotel was close to the Malibu beaches, both Getty Museums, hiking trails in the Santa Monica Mountains, Santa Monica Pier, and various restaurants in the area. Traffic was never an issue during our stay. I would stay here again!

The virtual check-in process...only because it was new to me.

We arrived late in the evening. Everything was fine when whe arrived. There was a reception with a person who asked us to make the check in with a woman on a big smart-tablet next to the table. I was a skeptical at the beggining but it was fine. The girl was very nice and helpful :) I also ordered my new phone to this hotel and they delivered the phone into the front desk. When I picked up my package i just had to show my ID (passport) and then I got it. Thank you so much for your service, because now I have my new phone because of you :) The bed and room was comfy, the room has also a fridge and a microwave which is a big plus when you are traveling with a lot of thing and snacks. The room had a balcony with a view on the hills and highway. During the night I haven't heard any car passing by, because the windows were very tight fixed so we haven't heard any noise from the road. The view to the indoor complex of a hotel had also very nice feeling with the palms and a sitting place in the middle with a pleasant green grass. The breakfast was very nice, a lot of things to choose and the breakfast room also had a music corner with musical instruments and stereo speakers, which means that maybe a live music can happen there in the evenings ? It looked very nice. Parking was also fine (free), we parked behind the hotel under the rooms and it was fine. We didn't have the chance to try the swimming pool because we had to go early and there was a very nice conference room in a beautiful traditional style. After a long flight from europe to LA, this hotel was a perfect place for our relaxing rest after a long trip. everything was fine, no problems

Remember this a relatively inexpensive hotel, not the Ritz. That said, it was very clean and very comfortable. The bed was great as were the pillows, i had an excellent sleep. Breakfast was very good with fresh pico de gallo for my eggs. Orange juice would be a good addition. The staff was friendly, check in simple, check out also simple. When we return to the area we will stay here

If I could have enjoyed a cigar by the pool or outdoor courtyard, but it’s California

the room was clean and bed was comfortable. The maids should get a raise here because it did make me feel like I would stay here again. The courtyard area seemed pretty cute. Had a little golf putting area overall pleasant day

Pillows could have had better options, they were all the same. I like when they have both soft and firm options and I prefer feather option. the breakfast options were not very good. A banana and oatmeal is what I had but free is free.

It was a quality facility. The room was very nice and spacious. The breakfast was excellent, three different options for each day.

Housekeeping had issues. Towels and coffee stuff were a real issue. The room had towels for one person so I had to head to the lobby to get more towels. The coffee stuff was missing the creamers. The next day they didnt replace our towels so I had to go get some. The coffee stuff was missing regular coffee. The second day I had to go get more towels. The front desk told that we had a Do Not Disturb tag on the door. Both days we took the tag off when we left the room around 11-12. I guess they dont check after that.

Breakfast was plentiful with a nice selection of items. Clean. The woman who checked us in was very helpful and nice. She was quite pleasant. There was live music in the bar/ restaurant. It was nice. Parking was super easy and close to our room. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. 12:00 checkout was great! Electronic keys worked the first time every time and didn’t jam. Overall a very pleasant stay.

When we checked in we were fortunate to have a nice person behind the counter. However, the other woman behind the counter was rude and seemed overwhelmed, even though she only had one customer with no one waiting. Made snide remarks to someone asking a simple question. She was behind the counter the next morning and acted exactly the same way. Very disagreeable and unpleasant. A stark difference from the woman helping us.

Breakfast was good, several options , liked the location! The ambiance of the whole facility was nice. Appreciated having the restaurant right there, good food! Room was smallish but adequate, had everything we needed, comfortable bed! Also we drive a plugin hybrid and were able to charge it , but you need more charging stations!!

The staff were amazing and made me feel very welcomed. It was also very cool that they have a restaurant on site and a little fridge with all kinds of snacks and goodies you can buy. The room was a good size and had a little couch and coffee table, which I loved. The bed was huge and comfy overall. Would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom tub had a few small hairs on the edges, and given that neither myself or my guest showered, it was a bit odd. Just looked like it has been looked over during the cleaning process. The bed sheets did have kind of a wet smell to them but being closer to the beach I know that moisture in the air is a given. Other than that, everything was VERY nice.

Except as noted below, the hotel me my expectations.

I hated the virtual assistant. She did not understand many of my questions and was unable to link my stay with my rewards which I had to use the associate at the front desk to help me with this. Get rid of the virtual assistant.

Great breakfast and live music at night (Saturday).

Parked under some pine trees at the lot and had some goo (tree sap) on my windshield and car hood the next morning. Just avoid that area. Other than that, very convenient parking and close to rooms.
