The housekeeping was quick and efficient and personable. The Gate keeper was always polite and helpful. Our breakfast server was welcoming. Dinner was always delicious.

They have a two for one Happy Hour where they do everything in their power to make sure you never get the second drink unless You are on it and asking for it. Every Day! Food order or no. An hour there or 15 min. That drink isn't coming. And even if you order it, and food, eat, pay bill and ask where's the drink? They say Sorry Happy Hour is done/We rang it up wrong. The rub is the margaritas are awful and the rumpunch is not tasty!

Food was great, location was also very beautiful. A nice mix of garden and breathtaking cliff views over the open ocean.

More info in advance about the seabathing. The cove which is designated for swimming is often too rough/choppy seas for swimming. It is very beautiful, but I wanted to swim more.

The property is a big tropical garden. The views, the garden, the food, the pool.. everting was great. Our one bedroom apartment was huge with a terrace with sea view, typically decorated.

Consider that you need a car or taxi (20 usd) to take you to the beach. Rick’s cafe is quite loud around 17-18. But except this it is quiet and calm.

I really loved the view of the ocean all time fav. Staff was super warm and welcoming always helping us all together. The pictures on the website most def did look just like the property.

The lady in the front desk receptionist was not the most welcoming but the staff made up for it.

Loved loved loved staying here. We were in Aries for 4 nights, and ate at the restaurant a number of times for breakfast lunch and dinner throughout our stay. The food is exceptional (a little pricey but that’s the same throughout Negril), and so much nicer to watch the sunset(s) from here than Rick’s (which is just 5 minutes walk up the road). The different levels for sunbathing make it really intimate, and it’s great to be able to jump in the sea straight from the cliffs. Plenty of sealift to be found snorkelling nearby and we even saw pods of dolphins pass by when having lunch one day.

The service at the restaurant can be hit or miss, dinner seems to be fine but breakfast and lunch we often ended up going to the bar to order or pay as we were waiting a while.

This was our 5th time to Jamaica, Our first time staying at Catcha Falling Star. We have previously stayed at Sandals and Secrets on different parts of the island (including Negril). We stayed here alone ( my husband and I ) for 3 nights and then we met some friends and family at Secrets in Montego Bay for a week. Three days was not enough at Catcha Falling Star! The views were breathtaking! There was a nice breeze from the cliffs during the day. It was very relaxing, and private. We stayed in SKY which was perfect. I am very picky about rooms, and I can't say anything at all that I would change. The staff were all so nice! We did not eat anywhere but Ivan's while we were there, due to our short stay and COVID and we didn't want or need to. Ivan's was delicious! We got a massage while we were there and it was amazing, I highly recommend! We loved Catcha Falling Star so much, we booked a 7 night return for our upcoming Anniversary!

Nothing, it was absolutely perfect!

This is the perfect place for a short stay. This was my first time to Jamaica, I did a lot of research about traveling solo as a woman and I had a lovely time. Catcha was an ideal location to enjoy peace, chill, beauty, and relaxation. I snorkeled and swam in the ocean at Catcha every day and then lounged on those fabulous sea-side couches; feeling like a mermaid. They upgraded my room to Gemini 1 on check in and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the value of the room. I ate most meals at Ivan’s and enjoyed the happy hours immensely too.

The view is amazing, so breathtaking! The staffs are so nice and professional and the food is sooooo gooood! So I celebrated my birthday during our stay, the first night my bf arrange a beautiful sunset dinner for me, our waitress is incredibly professional! Her name is Carol, she kept on checking on us if we’re okay and make sure we’re comfortable, then the whole staffs at the restaurant came to sing me happy birthday, that was so sweet! And the chef of that night, Tamar, his food is probably the best I’ve had here in Jamaica! So so delicious! We’re very happy about your stay, thank you so much 🥰

We couldn’t jump in to swim in the ocean during our stay, because the waves were too strong, a bit sad about it but it’s understandable

Our stay at Catcha was perfect! Everyone working there is super friendly and kind. The food and drinks were great (I’m a pescatarian and there were plenty of options). The location is unbelievably beautiful — right next door to Rick’s, beautiful sunsets every night, walkable to a few other local spots and just 15 min cab ride to seven mile beach. It felt very safe and secure. Couple sweet dogs live on the property. The pool, hot tub and jumping in the ocean were all great!

We had the cheapest room, which was overall great, but kind of loud at night with road noise and the shower water pressure wasn’t great. I’d also note that getting in the ocean probably isn’t for everybody - you have to jump or climb down some ladders. We were slightly intimidated at first, but once you jump you realize it’s no big deal and worth it! We were glad we stayed here instead of right on the beach.

Food - Reasonably priced and exceptional quality! Best Jamaican Breakfast and Oxtail EVER!! Accommodation - We had the whole tropical resort, and there was a unit for every taste and price range. Had plenty of loungers and lots of unique statues and decorative spaces. Very well run with transportation available on-site. Staff - Super friendly and attentive (special shout out to Andre (both of them), Flavell, Kevin and Cassandra! Location - Right on the water and perfect private cliff diving and next to Rick's Cafe ADULTS ONLY!

Very Quiet! No live entertainment or activities which they can hire me any summer to rectify :) If we didn't have the whole place and weren't able to utilize the entire property to make up our own activities, it would have been too quiet after 10pm when the restaurant closed.
