I stayed 2 nights, the first night had more of Japanese style room but then decided to book again for a second night where I changed rooms to more of western style room but higher floor level. Both rooms were very clean and accommodating. The public bath area was super clean and had both simple inside and outside area with perfectly warm and nourishing waters. The staff were friendly and exceptional.
For the bed the thick comforter was way too hot so it was either use the comforter or nothing. I improvised and used the yukata to cover with. Personally I would have liked a single sheet on the bed as an alternative to the thick/warm comforter.

The view is amazing. The room can fit a family of 5. My kids enjoyed the onsen. The provided yukata and japanese slippers are some nice personal touch.
The restroom. Very small. We couldn’t take a shower because of how tiny it is. We use the basement onsen to take a shower.

A classical hotel with facilities and helpful friendly staffs. Room space is spacious with tatami area.
A bit difficult to enter the hotel from the traffic junction but it might be us who chose wrong entrance.

The hotel was very nice and an olden character to it . staffs were friendly and helpful. The modern Japanese room was big and we love it.
The location is toward the mountain side so bit far from most attractions. Required Taxis to go anywhere .
