I could see Mount Fuji from window. All the way from station to hotel is with Mt Fuji in your view, I attach a photo. If weather is clear, you can take a bicycle from owner and go around in the neighborhoods, you will see mount fuji from different angles. Owner is very helpfull with everything, even pick up from station.

Very friendly Manager and staff. I arrived early and he accommodated an early checkin promptly via booking msg app/email. They daily gave you water, cup of ramen, and fresh towels. My room (2d) had a view of Mount Fuji so I knew when it was clear skies to go out and take pictures. You have plenty of places to eat within walking distance (cafe, restaurant, konbini, and a fuel station nearby for those who rented a car. You are away from the traffic of Oishi park but can drive there easily. The only thing missing maybe is a bidet. This is a fantastic place to stay at a great value. I loved it. Solo Traveller here for landscape pictures and food adventures.

Amazing staff who looked after me before I even arrived to the facility. Rooms have all the amenities, suitable for each season, whether you need to get warm or cool down. There was even a leg warmer in my room, so that was a surprising but welcoming addition. There have been some really cold days in Japan, so the fact that I stayed warmed at all times while in the room was a life-saver. The staff briefs you on how to use the heater to make sure you will have warm water--my shower always needed only a few seconds for the hot water, so there were never any issues. Plus, there were some complimentary items which were a nice touch. And of course, seeing Mt. Fuji right as I leave the room is always special. I was lucky I managed to catch a clear day. There is a nice yakiniku place just 200m away, as well as a Lawson, so even if you can't get food deliveries in that area, you'll have places nearby. The hotel also has food recommendations, plus all the info you need in case you want to book transportation.

Amazing room. It is more like a home and apartment rather than hotel because it has so many amenities and is very large. There is a washer for laundry in the room as well as a rack hanger. There is a fridge and microwave. There is a tv with selections from all countries. There is even a Nintendo switch with Mario kart, animal crossing, and clubhouse games! They provide many toiletries and even period pads for women. There was everything you could ever need in the room (heater, air purifier, water kettle, cups, utensils) plus they provide free ramen every night. Additionally the free bikes as part of the room are what makes it great. I was in between two different hotels but decided on this hotel because it offered bikes. Fuji is quite remote without much extensive public transportation besides buses that always have crowded lines. Traffic can get bad as well and there’s not much parking for those who rent cars. It’s great to explore everything nearby like Lake Kawaguchiko and Fuji-Q highland and Arakurayama Sengen Park. Additionally Japan is very safe especially for umbrellas and bikes so no one will steal them. The bikes come with locks as well. Overall 10/10 highly recommend.
The microwave didn’t work in my room but it was not a problem because I didn’t really use it. Just a note, you need to reserve a time to check in rather than checking in as you arrive like other hotels so plan ahead and communicate since there is a check in process/small tour/tutorial.

Our room was equipped with a microwave, fridge, water kettle, and washing machine. Since there was a FamilyMart (convenience store) nearby, we could easily buy things and prepare breakfast or snacks to take with us on outings—super practical! The room also had two heaters and a dehumidifier, making it really cozy. We had two beds, so the space can easily accommodate at least four people without feeling cramped. The highlight of this hotel was definitely the staff. They helped us figure out the best route to get there from our previous hotel, waited for us to arrive even though we were late for check-in, and at the end of our stay, they drove us to the station when we couldn’t get a taxi and had a lot of luggage. They didn’t even want to be paid for the ride—we could only thank them profusely! They truly deserve this 100% positive review. Lastly, the hotel is very close to the main station, where you can catch buses to explore the area. There is SO MUCH to do in the region, and we know we’ll come back and stay even longer next time!

Pleasant owner gave us lifts into town and station. Clean, washing machine, microwave neither of which we used but were available. Daily supply of noodles and toiletries..foot massager! Wonderful views of Mt Fuji just outside. Local shops cafés and restaurants in very quiet location. Very good value.
Nothing to complain about as very good value for money. A chair would have been useful as the beds were low. .it was quite a walk to the station but not that far, especially as the owner sometimes gave us lifts in. There were reasonably priced and readily available taxis to get home in evening.

The hotel is simple but has everything you need. The owner is lovely, he welcomed us when we arrived, explained how everything worked and we were able to use free bicycles. We had some issues organising a taxi to take us back to the station but the owner kindly offered to drive us there. We had a lovely time exploring the area around the lake and beautiful views of Mt Fuji.
The hotel is a bit far from the station but easy to get to with a taxi. If you have a backpack you can probably walk it.

You could see Mt Fuji right outside my hotel window! There was a very simple to use washing machine. WiFi was excellent. Plenty of hot water. Reasonably priced compared to other places in the area. It's a 25 minute walk from the train station but I did not mind this as it gives you an opportunity to grab snacks etc from either the 7-11 or Lawsons on your way. There's also a BIG shopping centre nearby with Robbins Baskin icecream in waffle cones :) BTW I think the 1 or 2 day pass is worth it as you can travel quite extensively on the buses to see the sights. They are colour coded so very easy to navigate.
While it was great to have plates and bowls and cutlery, it was ALL plastic :( But this had been mentioned by other travellers so they obviously don't care. Also, I guess it's about getting lost in translation, but if the manager had simply told me the Bell Shopping Centre, when I asked where to catch the bus, it would have been super helpful. I mean, seriously - how hard is it to print this up in English and place it in the room!? And I asked for a sharp knife to cut a loaf of bread and they couldn't oblige. I find it hard to believe that Japanese households don't have any sharp knives. But for all my whinging, this place was pretty good as accommodation in Kawaguchiko is very exxy and it was very spacious comparedtoother places I've stayedin Japan!

Great view of Mt Fuji from our window. Really nice owner who drove us to the station on our last day. Although not centrally located there were good restaurants within walking distance as well as the shopping centre where more food options were available. Free cycle loans were very useful as it was a bit of a walk into the town centre. Washing machine in room was handy too. Daily supplies of pot noodles and toiletries were a nice touch too thank you! Loved the manga library.
The room sufferered from noise from next door one night when our neighbours were up late. The owners do say no noise after 10pm and it was fine the other 4 nights.

It was a little bit further away from the station and lake than we imagined, around a 30 minutes walk, and there were few buses available. A taxi to and from the hotel costs (May 2024) ÂĄ1,000-1,500. Apart from that, the owner was great, very helpful, and we got rather more exercise than we expected. So all good
Nothing. Just the location was a tiny bit far (See above). Room was fine and the free pot noodles were appreciated
