The buffet breakfast which consisted of both Japanese and western cuisines were delicious. The location was perfect being next to the Shin-Fuji Station which brings you to Tokyo via the Shinkansen in an hour. The hotel also provides a van shuttle to Fuji Station which is about 10 minutes away (Do check the schedules which is listed on a board in front of the hotel). From Fuji Station, one can take the local train to Fujinomiya Station which is 20 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the location, comfort and convenience!

The room was small but super practical. Room design was well thought through. 1 single room for 1 pax is v comfortable in terms of space. 2, I think will be tight. Amenities was complete. Nothing fancy but they hv pyjamas, microwave, the usual kits etc. They even hv laundry room which is super practical for me as I dont like bringing home back from travels dirty laundy. Bfast was sufficient. Again nothing fancy but practical. The check in is at 4pm and check out at 10am, but they hv free facility to put ur luggage which saves u money for the coin locker.

Bed was on the hard side, this is still ok for me. But the pillow was hard.

The place is very accessible to JR Fuji Station, there are convenient stores near the hotel.

The shuttle schedule was not included in the early communication that's why if u don't have WiFi connection upon arrival u can't easily browse their website. . Fortunately I was able to call the reception and Ur was very disappointing to hear the words, NO ENGLISH!" Better if frontliners specifically handling the calls should speak English because the hotel caters not only to locals but also to foreigners. We were just fortunate that during the check out, a beautiful lady, who looks American was the one duty and speaks English.

The view of Mt Fuji was breathtaking. Laying back on the bed with Fuji out the window and Sumo wrestling on tv was perfect. Breakfast was mostly nice but the food tended to be cold. Cold sausage, cold scrambled eggs, warm soup. But the coffee and pastries were great. Right next to Shin-Fuji station and a huge supermarket that also sells lots of other things like electronic goods and clothes.

The 4pm check-in is not good at all. Lots of people waiting around for hours to check in on most days. I did know this was the policy as I've stayed at other Toyoko hotels, but I don't like it.

The small breakfast buffet was a nice start to the day. We had a room with a view of the shinkansen and Fuji overlooking the city. There's not too much to do around if you are just walking. We rented a car to drive the the 5 lakes and Fuji, and I think this is the way to go if staying here.

Hotel is located right next to the station so it's a quick ride to and from the city however this only applies to the shinkansen and the local station is quite a bit away. The AC in one of our rooms was quite weak though still sufficient given the heat outside.

The location is perfect for climbing Fuji, the bus to the 5th station of Fujinomiya trail goes from Shin-Fuji station which is close (2 minutes). You can easily come and go by shinkansen and use the bus, while relaxing in the hotel. Breakfast is included in the price and is super delicious and different every day, with many options. You can take a long walk to the sea (like 30-40 minutes walk), but it’s worth it as you can see so many stars.

There was a smell of mold in the bathroom, but they changed our room immediately after complaining. There is not much to do in the neighbourhood, and public transport is limited (railway station is only for shinkansen and buses are rare and always LATE). As I said this hotel is a perfect base for climbing Fuji and that’s it.

Location was amazing. Just next to the Shin Fuji JR station. It's the tallest building there so you can easily spot it. Checkin was smooth via machines and the staff was also friendly and helped when I got stuck. The room was compact and had all the basic necessities. A good touch with the books in the room and the chic white interiors was very tastefully done. At night I could see the bullet trains pass by from top floor of my room along with view of the city. The cherry on the cake was when I woke up in the morning and saw Mount Fuji from my window. It was so mighty and clear. I just sat there gawking at it.

The breakfast was free but dint suit my taste. Maybe keep more options in English breakfast.

It is close to Fuji station - bullet train (however, far from city i would say Very clean Small and cozy (this is still Japan) so no big spaces Staff giving their best to help At breakfast, there is a lady which speaks great English - Congrats to her!

I don't like the fact that check out is to early for a respectful hotel. 10.00 am could become at least 11.00 if not 12.00 Breakfast hours are also a bit to early, finishing at 9.00. A suitable hour would be 10.00 - 10.30 - guys, people that come to a hotel are also in vacation so you should take them into consideration. Not everyone wants to eat at 8.00.... It is a bit far from the city and did not found any transportation except taxi or car rental maybe... It could be inconvenient

The front desk staff have very little knowledge of the neighbourhood and the small town itself. They couldn't give any advice on anything including which bus to take and where to take it etc to reach the old Fuji station where there are lots of restaurants. They have zero idea on where to view cherry blossoms in the city let alone light up while the park right behind the hotel actually has 2 rows of fully bloomed trees all brightly lit up for the special hanami season. They haven't heard about the famous Mt Fuji heritage centre at all, let alone giving advice on how to get there.

-Staff can communicate in basic English -Free breakfast -Hotel is located next to Shin-Fuji Station (about 2 minutes walk) -Very reasonable price -If you get a room on high floor and the sky is clear, you will highly have a chance to see Mount Fuji from your room

-Breakfast is very busy and crowded, Finding a seat might be difficult during rush hour -Nearest convenient store is located on another road (5-7 minutes walk) but it is ok for me
