We stayed at Fukui Marriott for 7 nights and overall had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The staff were kind and helpful, and the room was kept very clean and cozy throughout our stay. When we first checked in, the coffee machine in the room was not working. After we reported it, the staff responded quickly and replaced it with a working one. The coffee was excellent, and we truly appreciated their prompt service. However, there were a couple of issues worth mentioning. Although our daughter only stayed with us for 3 nights, we were initially charged for the entire week. We had informed the hotel in advance, and after multiple discussions, we eventually received a partial refund. We appreciated the resolution, though the process was a bit time-consuming. Another small inconvenience was that on the nights when three of us stayed, the room was still only prepared with two cups. We mentioned this to the staff, but unfortunately, it was never addressed during our stay. We hope these details can help the hotel improve in the future. Despite these minor setbacks, we enjoyed our time here and thank the staff for their warm hospitality.

Very comfortable bed; able to fall asleep immediately. Probably the best bed ever. Very clean and spacious room Great view. Also all the rooms are above level 16 so you are guaranteed a good view regardless of the room Late checkout time (12pm) Fast check-in 2mins walk from level 1 of the hotel building to the fukui station. Also there are many good food near the fukui station

The only thing i didn’t like was the fact that i had to use three different elevators to get to my room or from the room to the fukui station (lift from level 1 to 3, from level 3 to 16 and then from level 16 to my room).

This was the best hotel we had in Japan! It’s right next to the Fukui train station. The service was amazing. The room was so spacious, stylish and comfortable. And the view was just beautiful. Actually the hotel lobby is at floor 15 and the rooms are above. The breakfast was more European than Japanese, which we actually enjoyed for a change. There was also much more variety. The eggs (cooked, boiled, scrambled or poached) are prepared on site. We were quite sad to leave the hotel after just one night. If we had known it would be that great, we might have planned differently.

The service, location and facilities were great and the room was well designed. Friendly staff and we also had room service breakfast on two days. Big thank you to the night concierge who upgraded us to a better room at midnight after we discovered our bed was dirty.

The cleaning could be improved. There was a small pouch from a previous guest left in the drawer and a small earring post back on the floor. The mirror in the bathroom was mouldy in the light fitting. The pillow also smelt faintly of perfume and the mattress had the faint smell of another guest’s body odour. The top sheets were clean but the mattress protector underneath should probably be changed. When we had our room made up on the second day we found sandy dirt under the covers when getting into bed at night. It seemed as though the housekeeping staff had worn shoes while making the bed. We informed the night concierge and he helped us to change rooms straight away, big thank you to him! The new room was much cleaner and did not have the same problems.

Staff is very kind and international, great room views.

There is no laundry machine in the hotel which was a tiny bit disappointing since it is listed on booking. They ask you to use laundry service outside that is not connected to the hotel and costs some money. The lobby/reception also played the annoying western/normie music very loudly I cannot imagine working a whole shift with it blasting non stop. Thank you all workers for the great job.

Location is in front of central station of Fukui. Its Marriot and its new, so no questions about quality and service. Amazing view for whole Fukui city. English speaking staff, bar and lounge zones.

Payment with card, its 2025, no need to slide it, just tap. This is something from 2000, please, think about it, my bank almost blocked my card, as there was no withdrawal just card checking.

Very convenient and short distance from the Fukui Train Station and nearby for shopping and food. Clean and comfortable. Only the entrance was a bit hidden and had to pass through level 3 and level 16 before getting to the room. Rate did not include daily breakfast and gym had no pool, no bath tub. Although had free toiletries. So was a bit pricey.

The location was good. Hotel was new. Staff were friendly. Easy to find food there.

Parking fee was a bit expensive- 2000 yen per day. About the room, once you walk into the room, the space is a bit small. It's where you put shoes and open the wardrobe. Rubbish bin in the bathroom is way too small,

It’s so close to the JR station, train station and bus station, just like in the center of the city, shopping mall and restaurants all around here. Our Deluxe King room with Mountain View really nice as we were stayed there for 4 nights with enough space and very good views.

The location was perfect and very convenient. The hotel was new and stylish, staff are all very cheerful and helpful. Nice city view in the room, comfy bed, Nespresso machine in the room, everything is perfect. Highly recommended.
