The room was spacious, clean, and everything worked well. The parking lot was attached to the building which was extremely convenient. The reception was so friendly and we even received some complimentary snacks during our stay.

I didn't have any problems with the room. It was also a good thing that the Olympics was on during the trip as all the channels on TV are local so it was something i could watch and understand and enjoy while resting there.

The staff were super helpful. I left a bag on the shinkansen after 5 train changes in one day. I have very limited Japanese, but the staff were amazing and rang the train station for me. They kept me informed with the process and i was stoked. with the outcome. I was also travelling with my bicycle and they were happy for me to take it into my room in the rinko bag. Tidy hotel, great breakfast.

Very affordable room with very helpful staff. We booked the hotel for a one night stay in Hakodate as we wanted to visit the morning market. We took the opportunity to do laundry which only cost €2 for a wash & dry. Reception will call you when the load is finished & offered to fold our last load as we were going out. Parking and access was easy.

Breakfast is good, room is clean. The staff were very friendly. It is within easy walking distance to the Hakodate railway station.

Since the railway station is a major starting point for buses to the downtown, it is not straigthforward to find bus that directly goes downtown. Although there is bus stop right in front of the hotel, it seems every bus finishes at the station, then you have to change the bus to downtown?

Great location right next to the train station and the harbor, so you can see the boats from the breakfast room! Very clean, spacious rooms with views. Breakfast was delicious and there were a ton of different options. Located in a quiet area, but you're a short walk from several great restaurants. We hope to be back soon!

Very clean, helpful staff, everything was ready for us early. There is a coffee machine at the reception/breakfast common area to use and chat together. The rooms were just nice. The lighting can be adjusted (white, yellow, dim etc). The location is great as you can walk to JR Hakodate Station and the morning market.

The Japanese style rooms were a bit narrow with not much room for luggage, but still fine.

The staff are delightful, the room was impeccable, the breakfast was amazing, and we'd happily come back (and recommend to others). We had a "Japanese style" room which was lovely.

The hotel is 7 minutes' walk from the train station on a main road with a bit of an industrial feel. That said the room was utterly quiet; we heard no traffic.

Very clean and comfortable stay. The staff are very nice and when I stored my luggage in the morning, they put it into my room for me.

It’s kind of on the wrong side of the station. All of the things to see and do are further away, but it’s only 7 mins walk from public transport so not bad still. Only became a problem for me as it was snowing heavily and I had to drag my suitcase through snow- but on most days should be fine to access easily.

-Room was very comfortable, although all the floor space was taken up by the futons -Private bathroom very nice and big

-Staff were not very accommodating, not rude per say but quite curt -Bathroom's shower curtain was clearly old and slightly nasty -Our room was non-smoking but the smell of cigarette smoke was very pungent in the hallway and sometimes was smelled in our room as well

A nice working class hotel, great breakfast (terrific cheesecake), nice hosts. A few blocks walk from the JR train station, quiet location. Beds comfortable, room a nice size.

Just disappointed when we couldn't add another night, but they were fully booked! not a surprise, good place to stay
