The guesthouse is wonderful, very relaxing, with very clean rooms and super-friendly hosts! It's only a 1-minute walk from the beautiful Ohama Kisima beach. The meals are excellent and it's possible to have breakfast in the morning waiting for you in a basket in the room, great!

If you don't have a car, be aware that buses don't stop often at the station in front of the guesthouse. Tip: A 10-minute walk will take you to a station with much more frequent service to Shimoda (otherwise it's a 45-minute walk from the guesthouse to Shimoda).

Firstly, the Guesthouse. It's cozy, comfortable and just the right size for you to get a personalized experience. It also has a cute cafe which has some delicious food options. It's Homemade Ginger ale is heavenly (with an earthy taste 😜). It's located a little far away from the reach of public transportation like bus (and ever farther away from train station). But if you have a personal vehicle or a rented bicycle it's convenient. It's around 10mins walk from nearest bus stop. The staff is extremely cooperative and friendly. I asked them to arrange for a small cake to surprise my wife on her b'day. The lady arranged for a small, cute chocolate fondant cake with Happy Birthday piped on the plate. They also give a nice basket of breakfast which you can carry to beaches, etc. and enjoy. Overall, had a great experience at this inn. In ll

Maybe there could be a small cabinet to put clothes in, etc. as staying more than a day would mean arranging a little at least.

The location is wondeful, just some minutes from a quiet beach. We came by train and then bus, then it's a 15min walk from the bus stop. We were there in the 2nd week of July and there were a lot of restaurants and cafes still closed so we ended up having dinner at OliOli twice, which was tasty and the portions really big. We had the breakfast basket every morning and it's good value for the money since it was enough for a light lunch as well. We rented surfboards, mostly foamies but some hard top also. Overall i really enjoyed our days at OliOli!

The room and bathroom aren't very big, but normal for Japan. There are no blinds on the windows so we waked up really early with the sunlight in the morning.

I came for the first time 4 years ago, and since then every time I come to Shimoda, I stay here, the cleanliness is impeccable and the best of all is that you can walk to the sea, they also have a cafe restaurant , with delicious snacks and appetizers, it's worth checking out, you'll fall in love with this wonderful place.

Every detail in the house is made with care. Quiet location close to the beach, hot shower outside as well as place to dry swimming gear. Friendly personnel ready to assist at any time.

Actually the food for breakfast, but considering the price - you have what you pay for, and the basket was neatly packed for either terrace or beach, so overall it was pleasant.

the guest house is managed by a young couple, very friendly and receptive, the place is simple but has an incredible energy, it is super close to the beach, about 3 minutes walking, the guest house also has a restaurant and the food is wonderful for a reasonable price ,I highly recommend it, whenever I can I'll spend a few days there to renew my energy.

Oli Oli is a welcoming, quiet, clean and lovely place where you can experience laid-back barefoot life. Waking distance from a beautiful beach and surrounded by green. The picnic basket with breakfast is just great! The food is healthy and tasty. Staff is nice and helpful.

It's sooo close to the most beautiful beach I've been to in Japan. You can go surfing if you like, even rent surfboards. The staff is very friendly, the house is nice, it has a restaurant and bar.

It’s a pleasant house and the owners were very pleasant. The food was great and and plentiful. Excellent breakfast basket.

The room was somewhat spartan, but clean and comfortable.

Almost everything. The host is so friendly. Dinner is just awesome. Pizza margarita and homemade milk tea. Location is very convenient. Has parking lot.

A suggestion would be to install wash lets on the toilets. It's not expensive at all and provides so much comfort to your customers. It's also a great concern about hygiene.
