Great location in a quiet area but also close enough that you were within walking distance of all the sights.

Hostel was very quiet. Like it felt myself and my partner were the only ones there, only saw 1 other guest our entire stay there. Not necessarily a bad thing but it was the quietest hostel I've ever been too. There were 2 showers and 3 toilets on our floor but 1 shower and 2 toilets were closed for maintenance, again wasn't a big deal but if there were a lot of guests it would be a problem. Overall I really enjoyed this Hostel. 100% recommend. Staff were extremely helpful

That was interesting to discover the design and architecture of that (nearly new, I guess) hostel. The room was very clean and comfortable, as were the facilities. As were the shared spaces. The neighborhood is quiet and the staff is friendly. There is a nice bakery in the street, as well as a lovely place to have a good breakfast. The easiest way to get to the hostel (unless you want to walk), is by bus. From Kanazawa station, take West exit and turn left. You'll face the bus dep area. Take bus 18 until Saiwai cho bus stop. 200 yens.

The hostel is a bit far from the center but still walking distance. I didn't like the bunk bed. The mattress was comfortable but the frame is closed on 3 sides and with the scale on the fourth, I felt a bit cramped.

Super friendly and helpful staff who had great recommendations for places to visit and delicious restaurants nearby! The rooms were incredibly clean, the bed very comfy and spacious and the bathroom was immaculate. Also, as a woman travelling alone, it felt very safe. I found the location to be great, really nearby a lot of the stuff I wanted to see and otherwise great transport links. I cannot recommend it enough!

Hosts very helpful and very friendly!!! It was a pleasure to talk with them! They speak well english. Location is also great : you’re in a sympathic street, a konbini is near by and also a loop bus stop, which is useful. It’s also nice to have a true kitchen and a laundry with dryer. Very clean as usual in Japan!

Our room with bunk beds was quite small with only a small window.

Staff was very nice. Even though everything we wanted to do was planned, she gave us some interesting tips about an event, and it was a great one! Room was comfortable.

The hostel has shared facilities. It is not the staff's fault, but... let's say, the shared toilet is just as clean as other guests on the floor.

A truly amazing hostel! The best kitchen we have ever had at a hostel (with free tea & coffee), extremely friendly and helpful staff, convenient and cheap laundry facilities, clean bathrooms and very cosy, comfortable dorm beds for couples (2 people). We highly recommend visiting the beautiful (and not too crowded) city of Kanazawa and staying at this hostel is a must!

Wifi is not extremely fast

Great structure, kitchen allows cooking and a nice lounge is close to it. Everything clean and tidy. Professional and available staff. Even if I had to leave couple days earlier for personal reasons, the staff was highly understanding and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Amazing hostel in Kanazawa. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained. For the price, the facilities were fantastic. There was a fully equipped kitchen and a common area. The room was small and comfortable. The heating was good and the bed was comfortable. The room also had a small table and chair. The hostel staff was friendly and provided all the required information during check-in. Owing to Covid restrictions, I had the whole floor to myself. The hostel was about 8-10 minutes by walk from the nearest bus stop. The hostel is also within walking distance from many local sightseeing spots. The towel was chargeable but this was known in advance and I had brought my own. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Kanazawa.

Nothing. The hostel was perfect and exceeded my expectations.

We couldn't check-in at the given time yet they provided the entrance code and keys to the room and settled everything in the morning. They gave so much tips for visiting places and were so kind to us! Also they speak fluently english which is rare in this country 😄 would stay here again!

K’s house is run by such lovely people that it makes you feel really at home from the moment you arrive. They were very nice, welcoming and also helpful with recommendations. The hostel is on a very quiet and pleasant street that I don’t think I would have stumbled upon had I not stayed there, with very nice coffee shops and small izakayas. The room was very clean and comfortable, as were the facilities.
