Our experience was more than satisfactory. The hotel’s location within the station itself was extremely convenient. We appreciated the cleanliness and order throughout the property, as well as the friendly, prompt, and professional service from all the staff. We arrived a few hours before check-in and had no trouble leaving our luggage at the hotel, which allowed us to start exploring the city earlier and more comfortably. The Wi-Fi worked well, and there were useful amenities available such as an ice machine, microwave, and complimentary coffee and tea. They also offered several paid services, including laundry, which added to the overall convenience of our stay. We felt very comfortable in our room. Our window faced the back entrance of the station, allowing us to enjoy the sunset in the afternoon. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation! ありがとうございます

Via Inn is a great hotel for short term stays, for longer than a couple of nights you might struggle with space. The room is quite small, if you leave your two suitcases open you no longer have a floor. That said, the bed is quite large and comfy. The pillows were just all right, I think a little too over-hyped with the "4 ways of sleeping" ad you could see on your tv materials. Speaking of tv, one wonderful option is to monitor the status of all washing machines to the minute - no need to set any alarm clocks, it tells you everything. The bathroom is small and cramped, two people are a crowd. However the water was always hot, the toilet seat was warm, the amenities full and nicely scented. But the best thing - location! The hotel is in the station, no need to leave the building. This goes with immediate access to all surrounding shops, cafes, and restaurants at an arms length. The hotel also provides free of charge luggage storage, both before and after your reservation. Overall - amazing for an overnight stay in Kanazawa, especially for the price.

Location wise is very strategic with public transportation such as train & buses. However if you ride the bus you cannot use icoca or suica, you have to pay with cash with exact value because japanese culture dont prepare balance for you. If you plan to go explore the whole attractions place around kanazawa you can buy bus pass for 800yen for 1 day bus pass. What i love the most is Omachi market of Kanazawa. You can get fresh seafood with reasonable & cheapest price!!!

No kitchen pantry as it is business style hotel

It can’t get better in location, value for money, quality, high standards, practicality: is inside the train station!!!! Excellent quality on breakfast (a la carte selection/ small menu tho)… ok hear me out, the only not so positive thing , if you get a room in the back row those that look to the station you will go to sleep listening to the station announcing the trains coming, so you could either use AirPods or just remember how much money you saved staying here and how convenient the hotel is and go to sleep happy!!!. Or you might get blessed and stay on the side that looks to the street and won’t listen much the station, either way my best stay in Japan, and I visited 9 cities

The location of this hotel is amazing, since you have an entrance right at the train station. There’s a bunch of restaurants close and a convenience store just around the corner. Very practical. The room had a standard size for Japan, not too big, but it had all the facilities needed and we were also given basic toiletries. Coffee and tea are also free of use. The staff was nice and they kept our bags the day of the check-in and check-out so we wouldn’t have to walk around with them.

The mattress was not very comfortable.

The location is superb, inside Kanazawa station. The entrance is on east exit, beside 7 eleven; very2 convenience. Hotel's essentials i.e: coffee, tea, toiletries, etc provided in the lobby for us to grab. The room size is quite decent compared other Japanese franchise. Very clean and comfortable!

On 1st January 2024 at 04:10 pm we were in front of the hotel entrance when the earthquake struck! Instantly we run outside the building. We couldn't enter the building until 9 pm . And there was no elevator, our room on 5th floor. We lifted our luggage s slowly and painfully to our room. Nobody helped, no bell boy . It's understandable, most of the worker was told to go home earlier. However, despite the force majeur, Via inn is definitely a gem! I will be back anytime in the future !

This hotel is inside the station. Ideal if you're going by train to Kanazawa (and you should) and want to stay 1 day, starting early, ike we did. You can leave your lugage there, pick it up and directly to the trains. The rooms are (Japanese style) rather small, but very comfortable and more than spotless. Staff is very friendly and helpfull, price was also good. Everything you need! Enough places to eat as well within a short walking distance.

Although the room Was small it was clean and comfortable. We were able to top up any room supplies in the main foyer and the staff were very friendly. The best thing about our stay was the location! We were able to walk everywhere or catch public transport which was conveniently outside the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to mum friends!

The pillows in the room were so hard it was like sleeping on a bag of rice and this was horrible and made for a terrible sleep.

It's location. Because it's inside the Kanazawa station, so made us easier to got an access using the transportation for both train or bus. We went on the winter time and there were a snow storm by the time we spent the night, so Via Inn location is the most perfect location. And also the bus to go to Shirakawago, just locate in a few metres from the hotel. Eventhough the hotel room has only a small space one, but it has all the amenities that we need. Thank you!!!

First time staying in a hotel in a train station. It was terrific! I took the train a lot so being able to get to the gates in a few steps was awesome. In the station there were also multiple restaurants and stores, and downstairs from the hotel was a 7-11 that was much larger than most convenience stores in train stations. They carried a large variety of ready-to-eat foods. Since I'm on a diet, I was able to get some foods from restaurants and supplement it with salads I got at 7-11. I pack light, so I plan to do laundry when I'm away, and it was good to have a laundry room on site. Hint: Regardless of the size of your load of clothes, select the large size. It takes two hours to wash and dry but then at least your clothes have a chance of actually drying. Otherwise, be prepared to hang up damp clothes. The room was pretty quiet. It overlooked a parking lot but I never heard noise from there.

As with most beds in Japan, the mattress was too hard for me. It had a thin mattress pad, which helped a bit, but it still did a number on my arthritic joints. I wish they had mattresses that were not too soft or too hard. Also, you have to take a very high step to get into the bathroom. Really a struggle for those with mobility issues and / or who are short. By the end of my stay, when I was tired and sore, I could barely get in and out. Next time, I am going to see if they have any rooms with bathrooms that are accessible (or at least more accessible). Too few TV channels.
