The hotel is very new, as well as all its amenities. Everything is high quality and thought through. The onsen is great to relax and unwind after the day on the slopes. The staff was super attentive and nice which elevated the experience even further. Breakfast is plentiful with a lot of choices. We haven’t tried the dinner there, because there are too many good options in Hirafu village. Overall, great experience.

If there’s one thing that’s not finished or not thought out is the exit from the hotel to the parking leading to the gondola and the slopes - when the snow melts it gets very muddy and there’s no way around it to avoid the mud.

I like that it’s new and near to the hanazono slope

it’s actually not tt near to everything so you need a car to get around. The reception could have given us an extended one hour later check out but they insisted on us signing up as member first. I didn’t like this approach at all. I also did not appreciate how they were speaking Japanese among themselves discussing whether to allow the late check out and assuming we don’t understand them. I think that was very rude. I have travelled to so many countries and never had I experienced the reception staff insist I sign up as a member before extending one hour later check out. Usually if they are able to accommodate they will do it immediately. I had expected better and higher service standards by a Japanese hotel but afraid the reception service was not up to standard.

Located right in the Hanazono resort in walking distance to the lifts. The property itself is beautiful and well designed, great indoor/outdoor onsen. Rooms were climate controlled well, beds were comfy and the sheets were warm. Breakfast buffet was also great with all the essentials offered in regard to western and eastern food options. Overall, we enjoyed our stay even if it wasn’t cheap.

Not that many hangers for two people.

This is resort is ideally located within the Hanazono Ski area, making accessing to the slopes effortless. The mattress was super comfy, ensuring a deep relax after a long day on the mountain. The front desk staff team was extremely helpful, special thanks to Harry whose assistance made this trip much smoother.

Excellent breakfast and staff lovely. Bar closed a little early given not much else around hotel. Easy access to slopes.

It’s a little far from towns with restaurants etc so need a car or to use taxis. Bus service a little difficult to decipher.

The room was spacious and very well designed. The AI speaker in the room was a new experience for me. Overall I really like this place.

The Restuarant was limited, but there is Edge and Park Hyatt around, so there was no problem for a long stay.

Great Location for people looking to ski!

Beautiful brand new hotel. Gorgeous lobby and bar area. The onset and gym are both beautiful. D

Cleaning is inconsistent. You must push the “room cleaning” button, but even then they skipped us first day. I mentioned it and they did a full clean on day two (all we needed was a refresh, but happy they came). Do not eat dinner here. Most of the food on the pricey dinner buffet is the same as the food upstairs at the included happy hour in the club lounge, and whatever doesn’t get eaten will appear on the next morning’s included breakfast buffet. Not a good value or a good meal. It was the most expensive and worst meal on our whole trip. The location of this hotel leaves you without many options, being isolated at the base of Hanazono. I hear the neighboring Park Hyatt also has expensive but much better quality food. We wish we’d made the walk across the parking lot for dinner.
