Location close to the station and to convenient stores. Great view and very nice morning sun and overall light. Comfortable bedding and very clean. All facilities very clean. Welcoming staff.

The bathroom ventilation fan isn't the strongest, so all surfaces get quite wet and stays damp for a long time. Besides that nothing really, but just know like most Japanese accommodations, there isn't too too much space for luggages to be spaced out and open. I had no issues, but those with more than 1 luggage would find it difficult to pack with 2 open luggages on the floor.

The staff are super information. The wifi are strong, 3minute walk to subway station, 3mins walk to bus station. 5 mins walk to 7-11, 8 mins walk to family mark, so the location is basically the best. Gojo station only one station to Kyoto Station, so it is super convenient. Microwave at the lobby, laundry just 10 mins walk away from hotel The hotel room is okay for 2 people. but we got big luggage so its quite difficult to open up.

The washroom is quite small, I am around 180cm so you need to becareful when you change in washroom cause you will hit your hand haha.

We chose the "Business hotels chaine" style accommodations during most of our stay in Japan. When we arrived in this hotel, we found that it lacked some usual facilities such as laundry service, etc, until we realized that this was not a "business hotel" but a low cost hotel, something like a higher rank of a guest house. The room with a confortable bed, very clean everywhere, simple but well decorated, and had a microwave in public space. The front desk staffs seemed not be professional experienced emplyees but young people in half-time job, but they were always available and helpful. The hotel is located in the centre, just one minute walk from Gojyo metro station and 15 min walk from JR Kyoto station. We loved the charm of an old residence area with some guest houses and hideaway-restaurants, all descreetly fitted in the passages. There was a Sento (public bath) nearby, loved it!

Laundry service would be appreciated but the staff showed us one nearby on the map. We could not leave our suitecase open due to layout of our twin room.

The location of the hotel is good, very close to the subway station. The staff at the hotel's front desk are also nice. It was 9/18, at midnight some emergency happened and I had to contact the hotel for the next day. I was anxious and helpless, but a receptionist tried his best to help us, not only translate but also communicate with the hotel for me, eventually solve the problem smoothly. It was a young man, I appreciate his patience so much! I recommend everyone to stay at this hotel when visiting Kyoto!

The location was really good. It's near the elevator entryway to Gojo Station, which really helps if you bring heavy luggages. It is also near bus station so it's easy to get around. The bed is super SUPER comfortable. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in Japan. The staff is also helpful and kind, and there is a microwave free to use in the lobby.

The bathroom does not have a bidet, and the room is quite small. I can only open a suitcase one at a time.

Location in a residential neighborhood close to Gojo subway. One stop from Kyoto station. Staff very friendly

Very basic rooms only one pillow on a bed had to pay a nominal fee to get another. You had to bring your towels to front desk to exchange. We were there three nights garbages not emptied in room had to bring down yourself.

Lovely rooms, our beds were super comfy. Location is in a perfect area, great vibe in the neighbourhood. Close and convenient to Gojō Station and Kyoto Station. Higashi Hongan-ji Temple is also very close and was our favourite temple to visit.

Can be stuffy in room sometimes, air conditioner filter needs changing and cleaning too.

Location was amazing. Staff was great, room and hotel are nice and clean.

This may be a Japan thing, but room cleaning is not included, comes with an extra charge. It would be nice to have it at least once for a 2 day+ stay.

Loved everything about this place. Great location (bus stations and train stations nearby), the room was super clean and all staff were friendly. Definitely value for money!

Nothing - the room is a bit small & you need to be careful not to make loud noises but I'm pretty sure this applies to all hotels in Japan.

It was great value and comfortable accommodations. Very close to the subway, but a peaceful street.

We got used to the heated toilets at other hotels, so we were missing that, but we realize that’s a luxury.
