The location was very convenient and easy to find. Great access to Mitsumata Ropeway and a nearby onsen. An unexpected plus was the look of the room doors - a variety of different sizes, tall, short, wide, as you walk down the hallway to your room really gave the place a playful and unique feel.

They didn't offer any dining services beyond a place to eat what you brought yourself.

The whole venue is massive with friendly and helpful staff. Most of the details were very thoughtful. The cottage is fully equipped with everything that we needed. There is also a public bath within 10 min walk and the Mitsumata ropeway within 5 min walk. A great spot for people who came here for winter sports.

The WiFi signal wasn't really good on upstairs.

The location was brilliant! The team were very responsive to messages and willing to store luggage (including skis) before check in time.

Just the busyness of the place but that might be unavoidable during ski season. This is not to deter you from booking, just an observation!

The beddings are warm and comfy Self sufficient system is well designed

The bathroom is on the lower level, so whenever you need to brush your teeth or clean u need to make sure u bring everything down otherwise need to going up and down again and again

Very helpful and friendly staff, simple clean rooms, nice big lounge area, super close to the lift and bus stop, and there is a nice outside onsen a short walk down the street. It's a very convenient place to stay if you're skiing in Kagura.

There are few shops and restaurants nearby. I wish the vending machine had a few better options such as water and tea, or that there were paper cups for water available in the lounge.

Location is right next to kagura and it's quite affordable.

If your a super light sleeper best to bring earplugs, group in next room were drinking and laughing till 2am so couldn't get proper sleep. Mostly just unlucky rest of place was quiet.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The facilities were mostly very good. Ski clothing and equipment hire was easy and efficient, and gear was good quality and in good condition. Room was warm and comfortable. Good location - cable car to the slopes was about 200-300m up the road. Overall, would be highly recommended if breakfast was available.

Despite a large dining room, and glowing reviews on Booking.com about the breakfasts, the only food available was pot noodles and a few very small snacks sold at reception. This was disappointing, as the only way to get breakfast was up on the ski slopes. The town is 7 km down the mountain, and can be reached by occasional bus, or quite expensive taxi (3500-4000yen). Last bus back up the mountain is early (about 6.30pm), so getting any dinner requires some planning.

Staff is very friendly. Room is very clean. 5 minutes to Kagura ropeway. Can see fireworks nearby when it’s the season.

Not convenient for food

Very friendly staff, nice and clean place. I was there during a big snowfall, it was beautiful. The bus stops right in front of the hotel and within a 5-minute walking distance there is a restaurant, tourist shop and an onsen. All good, I think I'll visit again.

I wish there was food in the hotel but I understand that it has been stopped due to the coronavirus situation.
