Location - Five minute walk to Nihombashi station and Dotonbori area. While it is close to Dotonbori area, it is nestled in a quiet alley hence you wont hear the crowd or noise from nearby touristy area. Alot of food options nearby. Cleanliness - While the rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis, towels and trash bins are replaced daily just need to leave them outside. Reception Team - All are well versed in English. Very helpful when I had questions how to operate the washing machines especially when the clothes werent drying well.

Room size - While the twin room has spacious bed size (two double beds instead of two single beds), there isnt much room to move. We had two large sized luggage and to open it we had to do it one at a time and these were kept standing at all times because they could only fit at the entry way. No storage place to hang all our clothes as well, hence we only take out the clothes from our luggage when we are going to wear them. The clothes hook could only handle two winter coats at a time.

Great for families. We stayed in the 6 person room that had cubicle style bunk beds. Each had its own light and shelving. The kids loved it. It had a small private bathroom but down the hall were toilets and showers for the 6 person rooms. All super clean. Very quiet for sleeping. The location is in a prime spot near the Namba train station and walking distance to Kuromon market and Dotonburi. It took 24 minutes to get to Osaka Castle and 20 to get to Umeda Tower. You can have breakfast at numerous places nearby if you don’t want to do the hotel one. Honestly we couldn’t have gotten a more perfect location.

Honestly, it was one of our favorite hotels of our trip. There was a ton of charm in the facility and the staff were very nice. They had a little pinball arcade game going that night that we didn't end up participating in, but it was very cute to have that type of fun at a hotel. We opted for the tatami mat room and, while very small, was extremely comfortable. A coin washer and dryer were available near the lobby and were great. Our favorite part however was the ability to rent a Super Nintendo and games from the lobby! We had such a fun time that night hanging out and playing in the room. We wished we had more than one night there so we could have stayed up later or had more evenings there to relax. There was a bar attached to the lobby, which would have been convenient if we chose to go down there. The location is pretty fantastic for a dontoburi trip.

Fair warning for those with large bags or having trouble getting up and down, the tatami room would not be for you. We only stayed one night, so it might have gotten a little old after a few nights, but we didn't feel cramped with just the two of us and our backpacks.

The location was perfect, very convenient. I saw some reviews that said it's located on a dodgy alleyway ... I don't agree. It is on a side street, but I felt very safe at all times coming and going and I didn't think it was dodgy at all! The room was small, as expected but we did fit x2 large adults and x4 large suitcases in the room without too much discomfort. Staff were very nice and helpful. They have a coin laundry ( 300 yen to wash and 100 yen per 15 mins of drying). You can buy detergent from the front desk for 50 yen. This was really helpful for a week's stay. We got fresh towels everyday, and the room was cleaned once during our stay. This was clearly explained on booking, and there was no drama.

Great location, close to basically everything lively in the city. There are many convenience stores, drugstores, arcades, pachinko places, shopping malls, and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and it was easy to find the place.

The room was quite tight for 3 girls, we had to make space by moving a bunch of things in the room so that we could open at least 2 of our 5 suitcases (3 small ones and 2 large ones). The laundry is not free so expect to pay with some coins. They only clean your room once during the whole stay (we stayed for 6 nights) and you have to pick a day (this is honestly neither good nor too bad because we didn't need much cleaning).

The location is unbeatable!! It is near Kuromon market (just across the street) and very near to the subway station. We can also sleep peacefully because there is no disturbing noise. Although the hotel seems small from the outside, the hotel room size is good enough for us to open 2 medium luggages simultaneously. The staffs were helpful, and the luggages sent by yamato services received there in very good condition. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Osaka.

Fantastic location! Comfortable rooms if you don't have a lot of luggage. If you have very large suitcases or fitting more than 2 people to a room with 2 double beds, you are going to be very cramped. Rooms were very clean. Note, there are only hooks on the walls for hanging up things... no cupboard. We enjoyed our 4 nights there.

Only local stations available on the TV. Description said free ice cream but this is incorrect. The free coffee was great though

I love the location, safety and value for money. We stayed here in March 2024 and came back in November 2024 bringing along extended family. They too were impressed with the hotel and it made a good impression to the start of our Japan trip.

Room size - but that is Japan. Also while they readily accepted luggage delivery, they did not have luggage forwarding in the hotel, we had to walk our luggage 3-4 blocks to the Yamato office.

I read some reviews and got scared because people were complaning about the cleanliness and staff, but for us it could not be further from the truth! The rooms were very clean and the stuff was super super friendly. So I don't know what happened to the others, maybe they had the shared rooms or so. Yes the rooms were a bit outdated, but it's a 2 star hotel and you paid 30 bucks a night per person, what are you expecting people?

Other than that there were scratches in some places, and the AC was a bit dusty, nothing to mention.

The location was excellent - right in the center of Namba, steps from hundreds of restaurants and shops and sights and sounds (and the main street too). Nice design, comfy room. It was actually my second time staying here, and my phone remembered the wifi password so that was nice. I didn't have breakfast this time, but i remember it being really thoughtful and nice, and the restaurant/bar always seemed busy and lively at and after dinner.
