Very convenient and safe location, just 4 stations from Namba on the Sennichimae line, and about 5 minutes from Imazato station. Breakfast was fantastic and hand prepared by the friendly owners with unlimited rice with furikake toppings. Sometimes, it would be salmon, other times croquette. Yukata in the rooms were also provided. Tatami rooms were very spacious with bathtub. Futons were so comfortable with many blankets provided, good especially in winter. One of the highlights was the heated multi functional toilet seat! The ceiling lamp could be adjusted to different lighting requirements with just one click.

I liked the homeliness of the place, which is operated by a family. The room I was in was very good with everything I needed. I was able to do my laundry, and even though there is no dryer I could dry my clothing with the hangers provided. Breakfast is an option if you want to experience a Japanese breakfast, and every day is different.

The location is not far from a subway line and train station, but they are not JR and you need to make a transfer or two if you want to reach the main sights in Osaka or around the Kansai region. The duvet of the futon was only 5 ft long, which made it harder for me to sleep as someone not accustomed to it being smaller than me.

The traditional room with tatami and futons was spacious and there were plenty of extra blankets, and a low table with cushions. The kitchen was well equipped with a big fridge, and a cooktop, great if you want to cook something during your stay. The breakfast was really good.

The toilet floor was wet when we arrived and it was accumulating water in a part of it after showers. There were slippers for us to use in there, so it was manageable.

everything clean (didn't use the common shower cabin - which can be locked and everything, don't worry - but it looked super clean too) + cute house with nice people + easy check-in and check-out + comfy and warm futon + useful equipment provided in the room (hair brush, tea pot, TV, etc.) :)

only one toilet upstairs ? :0 also the walls may have been a bit thin because we could hear sound close by, but absolutely nothing serious it was super light

I liked that the ryokan was only a short walk away from a number of services. The ryokan was located by the train and a number of convenience stores and also a market 20 minutes walking. The ryokan itself had nice amenities and was still providing a nice breakfast experience on top of modern bathrooms and wifi inside a traditional looking room.

The views from the windows weren't that great but it'll be like that when your not inside a 10 floor hotel.

The room was well prepared and was clean, the family who owns the house is really nice, the breakfast was really good (every morning you get something different). There is a train station and subway station a few minutes walk away and there are also some stores a few minutes walk away. Overall, I had a good time staying here as a solo traveler :)

Owner was helpful and swift to respond to message queries. They were thoughtful to top up the kettle in the room. The buckwheat pillow was surprisingly comfortable.

I really liked the location - it wasn't too far from the subway, but wasn't right downtown where it is busy and overwhelming. There is a really good okonomiyaki takeout place very close by. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts are very kind!

A family runs this, so don't be surprised to see toys in the dining room. Check in was easy. Breakfast was good, you only get to choose the time you have your meal.

I didn't like the curfew and the fact that every time I leave the entrance bell chimes. Just a personal thing, I just don't like interrupting anyone.

Exactly what we were after to experience sleeping in a Ryokan.

Would be nice to have another toilet and bathroom but to be fair, the advertising did state it was a shared bathroom.
