Room is clean and comfortable. Price is so good for this area. There are many restaurants and family mart around this area. Walking to Otaru station by15 min or you can take bus from train station and walk 5 min. Anyway, the hard thing is the walking way to the hotel is cover by snow in winter time. And you have to carry your luggages climb up on the stair with snow to the destination. This is the most hardest part but others thing is good.

I stayed in room 404. The room was spacious. I stayed with 2 people and felt the room was good. The bathroom was nice, with a hot tub, shower cream, shampoo, toothbrushes and towels. There is a washing machine, laundry detergent, laundry basket as well as a clothes drying rack. The kitchen has all the equipment including an electric stove. Microwave oven, dryer, pans, pots, as well as plates, cups, spoons, bottle openers and knives. Except the condiments are not provided. The living room has a television, Wi-Fi, and telephone. The bedroom has a comfortable bed and an extra mattress. There is a wardrobe. and heaters, fans, vacuum cleaners There is a balcony and the view from this room is very beautiful. Check-in was very easy. Even though I'm not a Japanese person and can't speak English, the reception staff understood what I was communicating. I like this place, even though it's up on the mountain, it's beautiful and private. Below the mountain in front is a side road with restaurants and nightclubs. Below the mountain in the back is a shopping street, Otaru Canal. I will come back to stay here again. It's very good for me.

Very clean, well equiped room in great location within walking distance of great restaurants and tourist areas. Great views. Walking distance from Minami Otaru station so convenient to access on foot/public transport. Recommended.

Check in (remote) was overly complicated and I got so many emails from the provider that I lost track of the most recent and relevant messages. Up some steep steps - not accessible to less mobile people. Steep road to carpark which is a bit challenging in snowy conditions.

Very clean and comfortable, with everything inside you could need, to a high standard. Small details that elevate a place to a more homely level. A basket of towels and a clothes dryer. Fluffy blankets, and thick bathroom mat. Lovely warm toilet seat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and would definitely go back.

We like to sleep with a window open at night (even in winter, without heating) but when our window was open, our apartment filled with the smell of kerosene from the apartment upstairs running their heater, as their expeller vent or flue/chimney was right next to our window. Not an issue in summer, or if you don't open your window, but if you do like an open window and the weather is cool/cold maybe ask for an apartment away from the chimney/vent so you don't get the kerosene filling your apartment.

we stayed there for a month and they prepared everything we need to stay comfortable. the room is clean, cozy and spacious for two people. check in process is easy and smart if you read the instruction carefully before arriving. all staffs are very good in English so make it easy to communicate. they are also very helpful and nice. When the Wi-Fi is not working, the staff assisted us immediately by providing a portable Wi-Fi machine. When there are too much snow on stairs, we contacted them and they removed the snow promptly. The public living room at first floor is spacious for group of friends to hang out.

The road condition to the the parking lot ( at a hill) in winter is not easy to drive when snowing too hard. on one day, it is sunny and the road became very icy that we couldn’t drive up hill. I strongly suggest a 4WD car with snow tire, I highly recommend a bigger or higher car like suv. But we found an indoor parking lot (eagle pachinko) which is 10 minutes walk from uchi. It also saved us time to remove the snow from the car. parking fee is 770 for 24 hours which is very reasonable.

I like the instructions provided by the hotel, it was clear and detailed. The check-in process is also easy and quick (via video call). The property also gives a clear signpost instructing how to park my car in a specific spot. Everything else is as described: facilities, clean room and kitchen which I really appreciate.

Unfortunately, the toilet smelled a bit, even though it looks clean. Perhaps, it needs a deep clean for future guests. Also, the outside property is not as clean as I expected, there were a lot of dead leaves in front of the main door of the building.

We stayed here for 2-nights, and the room we had was well equipped with washer, drying rack and heater. Lovely and near place for sure, and most importantly - Spacious as we have 2 XL luggages and Clean! The check-in receiption was very convenient as well. The location is just few mins walk away from the Sakaimachi street, specifically LeTAO, music box museum and steam clock. Overall we both enjoyed our stay in Otaru

Nothing to be specific. Just a reminder if there's huge luggage you might need to path through about 100-300m of hilly roads from Minami Otaru station.

The place is great it is neat and tidy, beds were surprisingly comfortable too.

Because the place is small there is only 1 AC, which is in the living room. Though there were 1 fan in each room to help with that, we prefer a place that doesn't rely on fans. Not a recommended place for old folks or someone with bad knees as you would need to walk up slope for a distance. Check in was a hassle, had to spend some time during the vacation to read a guide and fill in some forms required prior to check in

I stayed here for 16 nights the room has everything I need. private bathroom, washing machine, lots of hangers, very spacious for one person to stay in the one bedroom. it is very clean and everything inside were in good condition. access to everything in 5-10mins drive.

the WiFi was down for a couple days but the property did try their best to fix it. there was snow storm during my stay and nobody clear the snow around the property. it was a very dangerous drive. many cars failed to get in car park and some were stuck in there, a lot of work to get out

The room was large, clean and well decorated. All the usual amenities were provided. Quiet location, and central Otaku was relatively accessible by foot. Overall, good value for the price.

While you will be warned about arriving by car, carpark 1 is pretty narrow. Definitely recommend carpark 2. Also, while the room itself was clean and spacious, it did have a slight odor and the common areas and exterior are a bit dirty.
