Overall our stay in Winery Hotel was good. We had 2 rooms for our adult family of 5. The bigger room was great as there is a little kitchenette, it is on the ground floor and we could open the windows Because we booked different type of rooms, the smaller room was on another floor. One thing that I have not seen in oter Japanese hotels, which I thought was good is the way the hotel maanged the usuage of the washing machines and dryer (guest have indicate their room numbers when using the machine and the reception will help manage if the guest does not come back in time). Though there are only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers.

Maybe it is a comparison to another hotel in Furano, I did find the breakfast spread quite limited and the space rather tight. And the free wine, is really just a very tiny cup (like a sample cup in the supermarkets), so it was not as I had expected "like a little happy hour corner".

Great breakfast choices each morning - mainly western (pastries, breads etc), great selection of Hokkaido milks and dary products, but also some Japanese (eg soba). Wonderful for fueling up before a day of ski:) Rooms are huge by Japanese standards, the onsen was very clean, and the free 10-min shuttle services each day to and back from the main Furano ski station (Ropeway and New Prince ski lifts) was very comfortable and well organised. We especially appreciated the chef (who also doubled up as driver), and Sony at the reception. Dinner was rather expensive, but there were lots of great options within 10 (and some, within 5 min walking distance) of Winery Hitohana.

The hotel could have given better, more detailed travel directions from Chitose airport to the hotel- I had asked for directions over 2 weeks before arrival, but did not get detailed enough info that the Hokkaido Resort Skyliner was the fastest and most convenient (no need to transit in Sapporo for the train) to the Kitanomine area of Furano.

Stayed here as a family of 4, while skiing in Furano. Hotel was lovely, and our suite was very spacious. Facilities for ski/snowboarders are great - storage room downstairs and a courtesy shuttle will transport you to Rhythm for ski hire, to the nearby gondola at Kitanomine or 10 mins to the Furano gondola. The excellent hotel staff spoke English and were able to assist with restaurant reservations. The breakfasts were fantastic, as was the hotel onsen. Highly recommend for anyone skiing in the area.

This hotel was our best memorable stay in Japan. Together we our 2 young kids, we have been travelling in Japan for the past 3 weeks (and will be staying for another 2 weeks). This hotel has exceeded our expectations from the quick and smooth Check-in to the stay itself. We booked a large room for 4. The room is clean and big with a kitchen. We just to thank all the staff for their wonderful attention to create a memorable experience and help. Our youngest fall sick and the staff helped to contact the hospital and made the necessary taxi booking. We love the wine testing and cosy lounge. The free laundry machine was very helpful.

Nothing much, except that it might good to offer a wider menu for the dinner as after a long day playing with snow, it’s always nice to go back to the hotel for a nice dinner and enjoy the wonderful view.

Cosy petite modern hotel . Location good. Very good friendly service at reception and at restaurant . Some English speaking staff . Very Clean, modern furnished twin room with small sofa , well designed , compact , with good quality toiletries . Separate toilet from shower . Restaurant menu is good for the size of this hotel , food is delicious esp the beef stew , must make advance reservation esp when hotel is high occupancy. Breakfast buffet ok , but has more western than Japanese food. Free wine n drinks , coffee n tea at lobby . Free Wine tasting . Hotel open carpark is a few minutes walk up slope. , can be a challenge in snowy weather. Didn’t try the spa . Stayed 2 nites in late June . Would recommend tis hotel .

Breakfast although good , delicious , can be better with more bread choices and Japanese dishes. This comment is in consideration of the room rates .

From the moment we stepped in, we were treated with great service and hospitality which was great. All the staff were very helpful. We met with an accident while driving and all thanks to the staffs who patiently helped us report it with the car rental insurance and translated it for us as we had issue contacting them. Location is good and a short drive to the ski slopes. There are shuttle services if you do not drive as well. Lawsons and Seico mart is very near too so stocking up on grocery is easy. Breakfast spread is pretty good and we had great breakfast with snowy view every morning. Oh and one nice part is the wine tasting available daily. I have to say they have very good wines, worth a try. I will highly recommend the stay.

Carpark is a little further away and of course if it can be nearer it will be perfect.

Loved everything - location, views, walk to the gondola (or free hotel shuttle). Fantastic large room (Hollywood room). Highly recommend including breakfast buffet if not booking a room with a kitchen. Wine tasting was an awesome highlight at the end of the ski day!

The restaurant was closed for dinner once / maybe twice a week but it made us venture out and find some neat places with good food! Best to research and plan / know where to go and not be walking around in below zero temps trying to find a place to eat!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. Good amenities. We stayed for 2 nights. The first night we had pizza and secomd night we had the beef stew and chichen thigh in tomato for dinner.. They were all very good. There is a small selection of wine tasting and complimentary coffee/tea at lobby. They even have hot water bath and complimentary washing machine and dryer.. We really like this hotel. Will stay again on our next return to Furano.

Very helpful and friendly staff esp Sony who helped us a lot throughout our stay.

While it is nice to have free laundry machines, it will need more dryers because the 2 washers take 30min for a cycle while the dryers need 60-90 min for clothes to dry up. So it will be great if they can add 2-4 more dryers to meet the demand. It is also ok to charge for the machines if required.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. All front-desk people (at least for those I came across with during my 3-night stay) can communicate with English. Despite the fact that the hotel only has <40 rooms, it provides adequate facilities including hot bath and free parking.

The hotel would be better if the food provided for the breakfast buffet could be replenished till the breakfast time ends. We normally didn’t have much food left when we went for the breakfast after 9am
