A typical Dormy Inn. For British people, a bit like a Premier Inn feel to it. Very efficient at what it does and offers nice little extras that make you feel pampered. This hotel had a nice section highlighting various shops and sites around Takamatsu with a stamp collecting booklet and cards that was a nice way to introduce tourists to the city. Nice onsen with a Finnish sauna. Good sized traditional room.

The pillows are not comfortable. Like sleeping on a sand bag, so not great if you like a soft pillow like me. Maybe they could offer alternatives?

Good chain hotel. Professional and friendly staff. Room size sufficient for short stay. Everything very clean and well maintained. Nice Onsen with complimentary snacks. Complimentary ramen/tea/coffee in evening. Breakfast very good including chef prepared food. 10 min walk to Ritsurin gardens. 5 min walk to shopping mall/train.

A bit pricey compared to other equivalent hotels

- has a bath where you can soak and shower. - provides free ramen at 9:30 - free ice creams and manga for reading after your bath! - clean and soft beds - Pyjamas provided

-pillows are a bit on the flat side - can sometimes hear people next door (but this is only if they are speaking loudly. Regular conversation can’t be heard) -if you have big suitcase there isn’t enough space to open up your suitcase.

The hotel was really central, the staff were lovely, everything was clean and new and the onsen was great. Bonus: you get a free ice cream after your onsen! Would definitely stay here again.

There is an automatic light in the entrance area that we couldn’t turn off, which was annoying when going to the toilet in the middle of the night - but that’s not really so serious.

Room (standard double room) is a bit room, but still comfortable. Onsen is Nice :) The resting / waiting is super. same floor with Onsen and coin laundry. It comes with comics and treats for you to kill time

Breakfast is very good for 1800 yen per person. Enjoyed the free ramen at 9.30pm and free yoghurt drinks and ice creams.

location is a bit far from takamatsu station.

Good onsen in the rooftop, excellent location near shopping streets, restaurants n bus stop to airport

The pillow is too thin but the receptionist said they didn’t have any extra one!

Fantastic little hotel. Rooftop onsen, bathroom setup inside the room, free extras (soba/ ice pops/ yakult/ free snack inside room) during our stay, cleanliness were all superb. Highly recommended. Also very easy to get to using the airport bus.

Different bedding/ pillow options would be nice, but this didn't affect the overall enjoyment of our stay whatsoever.

We stayed at the Dormy Inn in Kurashiki a few days ago and found that to be very good also. The breakfast buffet is super! Fresh cooked, with a large selection of items, especially fresh fruit which is not common in our experience. The onsen is so relaxing and clean. This is a very nice hotel at this price point. Thank you.

The location was very central, from eating places to places of interest. The rooms were relatively spacious, and were clean and pleasant. The onsen, both indoor and outdoor, was great. The staff were friendly and professional. The beds were comfortable for a good night rest. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Takamatsu.
