The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The motel breakfast was excellent, and good value for money. I liked the availability of drinks in the breakfast area. I like hot coffee and it was very good. I liked that the hotel didn't simply put everything in the room, e .g. razors, toothbrush and toothpaste, but had them available in the lobby if needed. A good environmental approach. I also liked it that I could choose not to have a service in the room, if not needed. The location of the Hotel was great, being surrounded by streets full of shops and restasurants, and very close to a train station.

Free drinks (water, coffee, ice, soda, etc) from a fountain dispenser is really a benefit to stay this hotel. It saves times and money to find and get water and ice during the extremely warm weather. Staff members are friendly and tried to communicate smoothly using translation device when necessary. There is a spacious bath in the room. A bath tub in the room seems small but deep enough accommodating a tall adult. And, various amenities are provided (including bath salt) which is very useful. Location-wise, close to the shopping areas and train/subway station and bus stops (including airport limousine) and very convenient to travel around. Breakfast menu is not a variety but has all the essentials.

The location of the hotel is around the corner from Kawaramachi Station, so it's very central to the shotengai and easily accessible – perfect that you don't need to worry about rushing to catch the last train! There's free amenities and a self-service drink bar on 1F which is very useful. I also recommend renting a bicycle to explore the rest of Takamatsu.

The room has a bit of a weird layout (the sink is next to the bed), but was actually quite convenient! The AC in my room also had black mold in it, and I did land up getting a bit of a cough as a result.

Perfect hotel for a few nights in Takamatsu. Hotel is about 20 minute walk from main rail station but only about 5 minute walk to the station for the local railway which connects to Takamatsu Chikko station (2 minute walk from main station) and is also only 2 stops to Ritsurin Koen. Hotel itself was up to the usual Japanese standards of cleanliness with friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped, good size room. Large comfortable bed and Japanese style bathroom. Additional toiletries etc are available in the lobby area. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices, served in the cafe area where a drinks bar provides free coffee, water and soft drinks all day. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I liked the self service breakfast but they did a better job with Japanese that western styles. Also liked toilet and bathroom seperate and the amenities being out of room and available as required (less wasteful), and so,e useful extra one (like scissors, nail clippers, plying cards) which could be borrowed. Bed comfortable and adequate reading light. Good location with lots of restaurants nearby. Staff had map of some that were recommended.

I agree with a small room but this is really small when sharing with a Husband who is tall. I have already mentioned breakfast: the coffee was awful, brought my own English breakfast tea to have with hot water provided. Breads OK, would have liked muesli on menu every day ( was only there one of our three breakfasts).

The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the bus stop and a 25-minute walk from the JR station, situated in quiet but closer to the most sought-after shopping area in Takamatsu. Highly recommended for its service, room comfort and breakfast. We will stay here again.

The room initially allocated for us was too close to the lift, but we paid a little extra for an upgraded room away from the lift, and it was fabulous. Worth every cent. The Washbasin was in the room, which is a design flaw, not a complaint, but it is not good for the carpet if the water spills!

The toilet and bath/shower/sink were separate, like a Japanese home, and very cozy. Bath was roomy and nice with stylish and new wood wallpaper/panels. Seemed like a new hotel.

It was a little far from the main train station, but close to the big mall/arcade with lots of shops and restaurants. I stored my overnight bags in the main train station's lockers as soon as I arrived and spent my day going to regional museums. Local trains all go back to the main hub so I retrieved my bags before heading out to the hotel at night.

Everything was very smooth from the first check-in, which was slightly before the usual check-in time. The room was nice, it was just a bit unusual to have the sink in the bedroom and not the bathroom. For Breakfast, you have to pick one of 3 possible 50-minute time-windows, to make sure it doesnt get too crowded in there. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection of different food. The Location is also pretty good, with many nice spots around.

It is centrally located and close to a train station. The rooms were much larger than expected and the bathroom and toilet were separate (not a unit bath like you often see in cheaper Japanese hotels). I have never seen a better hotel room for this price in Japan! The staff was also helpful and friendly. I really can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It was a dice star experience from a budget hotel.

I have no complaints about this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. We had a short interaction in English and they were all very friendly and professional. We also bought a few local souvenirs from the lobby and were happy with them. Rooms are very small (even by European standards) but well-appointed, modern and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the area is central (close to Kawaramachi train station) and quiet.
