The hotel is conveniently located near the Takamastu JR train station. The area has quite a few eatery options such as “Meriken-y”a udon noodle house. The décor in the room feels a bit dated but it is spacious and clean. The breakfast offers both Japanese and Western items. The breakfast items change slightly every day, and I thought it was quite good. The staff in this hotel is very helpful and friendly.

The dryer took quite a long time for clothes to get dry.

My twin room is bigger than I expected but the toilet is relatively small -- cannot move and the bathtub is quite high. The location is superb --super close to Takamatsu JR station. Breakfast is a must -- pay 800 yen extra and you will get a super value meal of the day -- buffet or set menu (up to number of guests). I really recommend you try their breakfast. Staff do not understand English quite well but you can use many programs to translate to Japanese and get what you want. A complimentary welcome drink kiosk is also available near the lobby. I would love to stay there again if I visit Takamatsu. Book well in advance since rooms are limited.

Location is the best in town. Hotel is close to train staion, and you can see the hotel sign in front of the station. It is also close to Takamatsu castle park as well. Also several good restaurants are near by. main shopping and business places are about 10-15min walk and easy to navigate. Breakfast was simple, but it had everything I need.

Hotel was a bit old. Hope it will upgrade somehow.

I dont like giving bad ratings due to the weight each review carries. However the hotel assistant was trying to talk me out of leaving my bag at the hotel after i checked out. Now days i find this to be common practice for the hotel to accept your bags on check out (paid or not paid). I didnt like that he tried to talk me out of it and that i felt liek a burden and thus took my bags instead.

The staff are very good. I arrived early and the front desk kept my bags so that I could go out freely. The location is excellent as it is near the bus and train terminals.

The door is a physical key and needs to lock manually. The door can be opened if you forget to lock.

I found the location to be great for my trip to Takamatsu - close to public transport, scenic destinations, shopping and food. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom in particular impressed me, having plenty of room to manouvre (I have long arms). Also, power-points were in abundance. Breakfast was good value and the food was tasty & nutritious with a good variety. Staff were helpful and courteous.

Personally, I would have liked to have had access to laundry facilities. A laundry service seems to be offered but not sure how it works.

Large room with two chairs and a small table. This was a twin bed room close to the station. Quite a good breakfast, a mixture of Japanese and western, worth 800 yen. Very helpful and friendly staff but you may need google translate ! Free washing machine a real plus.

Check in is quite late at 4pm but they did keep our luggage until check in time and again on leaving.

The location was really good - 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the train station and ferry port. The room space was quite reasonable for a single traveller. It was also good that the washing machine and dryer machines were available for free.

There was a constant cigarette smell that somehow wafted its way to the top floor (perhaps from another building?). However there were more things that I liked with my stay, so the smell was just a minor inconvenience.

Location is great. Right outside the train station, walking distance to the ferry in one direction and the long shopping arcade in the other direction. Very convenient to all sights and transportation in Takamatsu. Room is small but comfortable. Breakfast is quite good. Excellent value over all.

Good location, just two minutes walk from station and around five minutes to ferry pier. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many restaurants and shops around. Nice breakfast too.
