★★★★★ Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Tokyo My recent stay at this property exceeded all expectations, offering the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and Japanese hospitality. The location is absolutely unbeatable – just a short walk from Ueno Station's Iriya exit, making it incredibly easy to navigate Tokyo's extensive rail network and explore the city's attractions. The property truly shines when it comes to cleanliness, maintaining the high standards that Japan is famous for. Every corner of my room was impeccably maintained, from the spotless bathroom to the fresh bedding. The room itself was thoughtfully organized with clever storage solutions that made excellent use of the space – a particularly appreciated feature in Tokyo accommodations. One of the biggest highlights was the exceptional staff. Despite my limited Japanese, the front desk team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering helpful recommendations and assistance with navigating the neighborhood. Their warm smiles and attentive service made me feel truly welcomed throughout my stay. The surrounding area is a treasure trove of conveniences. Within a few minutes' walk, I found multiple convenience stores (including 7-Eleven and Family Mart), local restaurants serving delicious Japanese cuisine, and several coffee shops. The proximity to Ueno Park was an unexpected bonus, perfect for morning walks and experiencing seasonal festivities. The room itself was a model of efficiency and comfort. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the WiFi was consistently fast, and the bed provided excellent support after long days of exploring. The bathroom, though compact, was well-designed with great water pressure and always-reliable hot water.

Quiet place but yet very accessible, 10-15 mins walk to JR Ueno station or Keisei Ueno Station. Easily 2 convenience stores nearby (1-3 mins walk away) or more if one is willing to walk a bit more and bigger size convenience stores nearby too. Cafes/restaurants can be found easily around the hotel. There's even a small yakitori store at the corner of the hotel and Domino's Pizza nearby too if any late cravings. Easy walk to Ueno Park, Zoo, Museum etc & shopping street (Ameyoko).

The location was a simple 6-8 minute walk from Uneo station (once we worked out what exit to use!) through quiet, safe feeling streets. Despite being on a main road the room was quiet and there was zero issue with traffic or neighbourhood noise. The room was well equipped with a washer/dryer, shower room, kitchen (including toaster, microwave and full sized fridge/freezer) and everything was well explained and easy to use/access. There was also a view of the SkyTree from our doorway and the receptionist provided us with umbrellas to use on a rainy day - much appreciated. There is a small 7Eleven, and a Lawson very close by (same block).

We would have liked another couple of chairs with the dining table - travelling with two children we used the table a lot and had to unmake the sofa bed each day to use it (uncomfortably, as it was so low) with the table. Otherwise the room was as described and exactly what we needed and expected for the price we paid so we have no complaints.

Excellent location: close to shops & transit, but on a quieter street. Smaller unit but with lots of drawers/hooks/shelves for storage while in residence. Larger refrigerator & freezer, with a rice cooker & chopsticks for when you want to eat in. Spotlessly clean, with helpful staff.

Could use another rail/hook in the kitchen for a towel (to maximize sink usage for a family of three). The manual was a little confusing when operating the laundry machine.

Great family apartment, large and convenient. Placed near the Ueno station. Rooms were clean and tidy, view on the skytree was gorgeous.

Lack of english speaking personnel. It will be nice to improve the kitchen: no kitchen towels, cooking oil, etc. Also will be great to include some tea/coffee for the start.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was large by Tokyo standards. The beds were comfortable but quite firm. The kids stayed on the bunk beds and had no complaints. The room had everything we would have needed to cook a meal if we had wanted (we didn’t). The water in the bathroom was plenty hot with good water pressure. The shower was large and there was a a bathtub that was small by American standards but large enough if needed. Overall we were very pleased.

It was very hard to get the combination washer/dryer to spin so it often took several (4-6) hours to dry a load. Combined with it being quite small we were not able to get as much laundry washed as we had planned to continue our trip.

Very clean and spacious. The washing machine was a bonus as the weather was so humid, it was great to have fresh clothes everyday. They also lent out umbrellas on rainy days which were very helpful.

It was a good 10-15min walk to the train station- which isn’t a deal breaker, but something to consider if you don’t like walking/have young kids.

The staff was really friendly and they watched over our luggage until check-in as we arrived too early. The room itself was super spacious, which was the best feature, but there was a ton more! The room had a washer dryer combo which came in super handy. It also had it's own kitchen, a vacuum and a really spacious shower (which a bath tub) The location was really close to Ueno Station and also had a couple of grocery stores next to it. It also came with two codes instead of a key (one for the elevator and at night the front door and a second one for the room itself), which came in handy as it was easier to share a code, then to share a key.

The street in front of the hotel is very busy and very loud, which is not great if you're trying to sleep with an open window. The hotel sadly is also not able to send you luggage to your next destination.

Breakfast was ok

The location is a bit off from stations. It is bit fi a walk. The staff had been helpful but could have been more helpful.

We were very disappointed in both booking.com and the hotel. The 8-day stay was with breakfast but final confirmation came without and was only known when we checked in. Booking.com asked us to provide a screenshot of the same which was not possible. The lesson learnt was to take screenshot every step of the way and check your confirmation voucher and not trust booking.com or the hotel. We paid a lot which should have included the breakfast but hotel staff was pretty rude to not even consider. I had cancelled my stay at nearby Mimaru just because of the inclusion of the breakfast here in this hotel. In the end, we felt rather cheated. Our trip got off to a false start.
