the location was excellent as it is near the Shin Okubo station just around 1-2 mins walk. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the bathroom because my partner and I can take a bath together considering that we are always on the go. It was winter when we stayed in the hotel and we can always take a hot dip in the bath tub. Value for money was worth it!

My partner left the drain cover open in the bathroom. When we get back after a day out, the whole room smelled awful so we just opened the window and exhaust fan. There was a notice in the bathroom door not the leave the drain cover open though. But all in all, our stay was great!

Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. The room service was both reliable and professional. All for an extremely reasonable price. We split our stay between 2 accommodations this trip, but our next will exclusively be at Cocochi. We're beyond impressed.

The room was smelling because of the bathroom, which I knew from reading other reviews. So I brought a room spray, and it helped so much.

Close to metro and restaurants. Good room size for 2. Comfy beds. Separate shower room.

This place is great! I don't know how it isn't rated higher, it's such a gem. You have soo much space, especially for Tokyo. You have an area with a table to eat, seprate shower room, seperate room for sink and seperate for toilet. Location is actually perfect, right in Shinjuku in Korea town. And smack bam in the middle of loads of restaurants, bars and shops. 5 min tube to Harajuku, Shibuya, 5 min walk to Don Quijote, 2 mins to Shin-Okuru tube. Nesr loads of good food places like suhi? Comveryor-belt sushi, udon, curry places etc. Staff really friendly and nice, everything clean. Really amazing value.

Shower room decor could do with a bit of updating to modernise, but it's really fine and clean.

I liked the location. The hotel is about a 4/5 minutes walk from Shin Obuko metro station and very close to Shinjuku (maybe 10/15 minutes). It's full of restaurants, bars and convenient stores around it. The staff was very kind and helpful. They let us leave the luggage at the property while the room was being prepared. The room is big for the Japanese standards, but you can tell it's a bit old. Regardless, all was fine. Toiletries were included and already available in the room or, if needed, at the reception. Definitely recommended!

The beds are a bit old, and the room gives the same vibe, but nothing that could actually ruin your stay. Also, the window glass isn't that thick and at night you can hear noises coming from the street.

Located just a 1-2min walk away from shinokubo station yet cldnt even hear the sound of any trains passing by. Big enough for 2 ppl to fit n open their luggages n they provide a mini fridge n a kettle as well which is extremely convenient. There are plugs at literally every corner of the room even on the bed n the staffs r friendly n nice. Wld stay here again if I had to. They allow early lugggage check ins as well which was v useful for someone like me who had a morning flight

I cldnt lock the toilet door... N the toilet door was a little see through so it might be awkward for those traveling with friends hahaha n the wifi is a little slow but sufficient enough tbh other than that everything else was great!

Oyado Cocochi was in a quiet alley near the bustling k-town. There's a 7-11 and a vending machine nearby for drinks and snacks in case you need a quick fix. Location of the hotel is pretty close to k-town as well as kabukicho (approximately 15 mins away). Yamanote line is a convenient 5-minute walk from here too. The room was cozy and had what we needed for our stay (towels, toiletries). There's also 24hr reception and replies are speedy when we sent messages via the booking.com app. The staff were pleasant and helpful too. Would recommend this place for anyone who would like to stay in a quiet place yet be close to the lively night life that k-town and kabukicho has to offer.

The bathroom may look a bit old but it was still kept clean. There can be a bit of noise outside in the evening since it's near the busy k-town street but you should be ok when you're in the upper floors (we stayed on the 3rd floor).

Although it's a budget accommodation, it provided items that a regular hotel would, eg. shampoo, body soap, toothbrush and tooth paste packs, towels of different sizes, instant tea and coffee, a kettle, blow dryer, a small fridge, TV, etc. The place was quite clean. Smell could come from the bathtub drain but there was already a notice advising people to keep the drain plugged, which did solve the problem. And yes, it had a tub, be it tiny. It was helpful as my friend and I both caught a cold in the trip and the hot bath was a treat. Staff were friendly and helpful. I've read a review saying that leaving the luggage after checkout would cost money but that's true only if you leave it there till past 11 pm. So they kept our luggage for free for over half a day until we picked it up in the evening before we headed to the airport. Location was very convenient. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby (a 7-11 next to the building) . A short walking distance to either Shin-Okubo or Okubo Stations. Near a busy street but pretty quiet inside the room. Would consider going back.

The only weird thing was there was nowhere to put / hang your clothes in the bath. We took the bath stool out of the bathroom so that we could put our clothes there.

Very good central location in the Shinjuku area and close to a JR train station. The hotel is in the very lively Shin-Okubo neighbourhood but it’s on a very quiet little street so you can rest peacefully. There is a convenience store just outside and many restaurants. Room was spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Staff were helpful, especially the housekeeping staff.

Old building and furnishings- could do with some refurbishments, especially the shower, windows and the room door which is an old-fashioned key-lock door that felt quite flimsy. Also felt like there was not much security. Anyone could walk in & out, and no dedicated space to store luggage.
