The view is superb. It is beach front. But public can access the beach (not a problem for me tho). The pool was good. The environment is chill and we got to watch sunset. There's watersports on the beach and horseback riding but you'll have to pay as it is not part of the resort's service. You can take beautiful pics here I guarantee you that. The restaurant was nice. The lobby was nice (to me at least). It is near to outside reastaurant as well (as in walking distance to other restaurants). The room was okay, clean and spacious, the view from my room was nice. The tv and ac works, iron was provided. Everything works for me. There were plenty of parking space. Everything was nice, good and comfy except the bed.

The bed was a major turn off. It is stiff. Please use a mattress topper. It really hurts our body.

The location was fantastic. It was nice being in the North of the island. The rooms were lovely and spacious, with amazing views from the balcony. The swimming pool was amazing with different levels of depth going round. The beach is so close and beautiful views. The local night market in Batu Ferringhi is just a short walk from the hotel. It’s on every night from 7pm til Midnight. Best time to get a deal is during the week as it’s quieter whereas the weekend gets very busy and prices for the same item shoot up!

The buffet breakfast had Western and Asian offerings, but I felt it was a little limited and quite expensive. We chose to eat out instead, as outside the hotel were so many places to eat, with amazing food. at a fraction of the price. When residents had finished swimming they tend to just walk through the hotel soaking wet, leaving slippery floors and wet lifts. We could have fallen several times. There was signage saying not to do this but it was blatantly ignored.

The hotel is very good for stay in Penang as i stayed there for 3 nights 1- room is spacious with a great view and comfortable beds - it is a bit outdated but nothing to really complain about 2- the beach area is great and very near to the hotel and pools are big and clean with depth that suits all needs 3- some great activities and sightseeing nearby ( Escape water park , species park , butterfly park ) 4- the night market is a good for a night walk with several shops and restaurants 5- area is very secure and safe Note - Penang is a very big island so the hotel and the beach considered away from other attractions like penang hill and George town but transportation is convenient and easy using grab or public transpiration

Room and bathroom are a bit outdated but clean and do the needful

The first room allocated to us smelled musty, so we were moved to another room which was good. The rooms are clean and very spacious with nice views from the balcony. All basic bathroom amenities are supplied, as well as an effective aircon, electronic safe, iron & ironing board, and even disposable slippers. The shower is hot with decent pressure. The pool is lovely & clean with towel service provided and has a nice garden relaxation area surrounding it. The Front Office staff were helpful in printing some documents we needed for our next destination. Overall, the hotel is comfortable and provides good value for money compared to the other beachfront hotels in the area.

The rooms are well furnished but sparsely decorated which gives it a somewhat cold & clinical feel. The carpets in the passages leading to the rooms are soiled in places, while the rooms have no carpets or mats. The grout in the bathroom needs to be redone as it has blackened in places. The hotel is located at the far end of Batu Ferringi so you need to walk about 10 min in the heat to get to the central area, Starbucks, the night market, etc. The beach (in all of Batu Ferringi) are no longer safe to swim since deadly Jelly fish were discovered in the water recently.

Like the environment of the hotel,lobby,garden,location room is big.Staff also very friendly especially Jafri at the pool bar and his friends can't remember his name.Good service from both guy.

The parking at the basement.No lights in there and it looks scary for me.Im prefer parking at the the roadside is better.

Probably wouldn't recommend getting food here, it costed 12+ ringgit for a glass of milk and the cheese on the pizza was quite old. Just get delivery, you can get a meal fit for a king delivered for like 5usd, these guys charge quite a lot for substandard room service food. It feels like it would have been super luxurious in 1998, its a bit dated now. You CANT SWIM AT THE BEACH. At a beach resort. Found that quite funny. As far as south East Asian beach destinations go, batu ferringhi is decidedly underwhelming. It would be a great first-time-to-asia place, but having been to boracay, Sanur and even Patong, it just offers very little.

Good location with good beachfront, pool area and gardens We have been to this hotel previously and booked sea view room - Rooms was very comfortable and well stocked check-in and check-out is very easy and quick Staff are very friendly and helpful with local information

the room was very cold, I raised the room temperature a few degrees but this caused a lot of sweating to the room- the walls and floor very quickly became wet - there is obviously ventilation problems with the higher floor rooms

Location, big and clean pool with friendly towel staff. Private beach with massages and water activities. Partial sea view overlooking the hills and bay. Very calming having both green and blue to look for 5D4N. It was very comfy and serene. I'm sure in its glorious days, it was a superb resort. And it can be! Restaurant is big and the food spread should have gone along with it though ample.

Breakfast was good though not extensive for a 4* resort. Top ups can be faster. Waiter can have more initiative. One of the coffee maker coffee waste tray was full and the milk finished but I was told to use the milk from the jug instead. Understandably it was already 09.30am and not many patron left for breakfast. But the foam milk is what gives the creamed coffee its taste. No issues. Amenities are dated and can refurbished to rejuvenate the resort. Those sleeping in the outside room were able to control the lighting of the master bedroom. And the door to the master bedroom can be unlocked from the toilet side. There should have been an extra latch to prevent accidental sneak-ins from others.

Great beach front, garden facility, waterfront activities, clean beach and sea, pool is wonderfully maintained, variety of pool depths and even a play pool for the kiddos. Nice garden to relax under the palm trees / huts with (paid) massage facilities, that was optional, small football field, basket court and even tennis court. Really enjoyed this feature of the hotel. Family room is spacious, clean, and basic. Staff really friendly and helpful. Free parking, a bathtub, a minimart and just walking distance to Ferringhi Bay (loads of food and entertainment for night) which was just a 5 min walk on the beach front. Parasailing, jetski, banana boat was also available and the boys are nice to keep you safe.

Breakfast food was pretty outdated, super basic, and not so tasty. Coffee machine was tricky and not just a one-press button option. You had to figure out how to blend your coffee a bit. Spread could have been better, with more Malaysian food options, pastries and breads. We didn't dare to try the other restaurant and went out across the road and Ferringhi Bay for other meals.

Very friendly staff, welcoming greeting. Facilities are good and clean. Pool area is very nice and the beach just at your doorstep. Housekeeping is great, cleaning done on a daily basis and all compliments replaced.

Could do with some atmosphere, music by the pool, evening events, draught beers. Cocktail beverages either needed better ingredients or bar person needed a lot more training. None of the drinks ordered taste as they should. Some local snacks by the pool would be nice. If there was it wasn't evident. Curry Puff, Ikan Bilis with peanuts, Kachang Putih assortment even selection of cakes, ice-cream More transparent about their room rates. Somehow information about what will be the additional charges might come to, either in monetary terms or percentage.
