Colmar Tropicale is a beautiful place! The scenery from the room is awesome - especially if you love the view of serene green trees and mountains. The staff is very responsive. I had asked for an extra bed (extra payment of course), it came promptly. However, one of the pillows was badly stained and when I complained, they changed all 5 pillows! Talk about hospitality! I felt good

The toilets can be a little jaded with some stains on the seat that cannot be removed. Guess the cleanliness factor can be improved upon. The hotel food is so-so nothing to shout about. Breakfast is practically the same everyday. There are only 2 restaurants here and the price is pretty steep! RM25 for a plate of rice? So look for lunch in Bentong town. Its about 40 mins away. Overall if you are looking for a place to laze, relax and do nothing- this is the place. Oh! If you plan to go horse back riding at the horse trails, be sure to book ahead. Otherwise you would be dissapointed - like we were.

The two bedroom suite is great with bathtub in each room. It’s a beautiful place surrounded by greeneries. The breakfast was nice and filling. There was a place for taking pictures with birds like parrot and nuri. Swimming pool was open and there was a 7 eleven there.

I really liked the style, ambience and fresh air. All you can see on pictures, like a square with multiple European-style houses - thats is the hotel. They have many buildings there, multiple restaurants and shops. People actually come there just to spend some time without saying at the hotel, and it feels good. The place is on a hill surrounded by nature with some monkeys looking to steal something from you. So - fresh air and nice view. Bedroom and bed was really comfortable.

We booked a spacious suite but it was as bit weird - bedroom was great but living room was empty with very little furniture and no rugs or any decoration (see my pic). And that is like illustration for everything in the complex itself - something is very good and other things are not there or not working. French restaurant didn’t work, Italian - no desserts, good selection for hotel breakfast but no fresh coffee (the one available tasted like instant nescafe), bakery - no pastry in the morning, japanese restaurant - only bentos available. To turn on water heater you had to do it like 30min before showering, and hot water was run out very fast. Some machinery background noise during sleeping (have no idea why).

friendly staff, even already late also guide us how to go our room and introduce the place in detail. Great service from FnB team too, staff quickly noticed our not enough cutleries and plate and one of the boy staff quickly brought it for us.

TV remote control is dead…we can not change others channels. Toilet bowl a bit dirty and we flush the toilet bowl but the water also dirty as it is yellow color……Then, water heater are not running as we open it but the water is cold at night and we try it at morning, water be too hot.

Beautiful eye cathing sceneries, huge rooms. May consider add flower gardens such as tulips at surrounding areas in Colmar. Love it so much, staffs are friendly & attentive.My family enjoyed our holiday at Colmar. Thank you 😘

Hi, it's an awesome stay.Huge & beautiful rooms, pool, sceneries. Some feedback for your side to consider : 1. Add more attractions in activities such as live performance at Colmar. 2. Foods are expensive, add varieties and unique attractions (foods). 3. Consider having night time performance , 4. Japanese Garden to add more attractions

The staff are friendly and polite, the room is very spacious, furniture is nice. Buffet breakfast was good and lots of variety. My kids are excited and enjoyed staying at the hotel very much.

Overall is ok, however the wardrobe is quite smelly, and we saw 2 cockcroaches in the room. The botanical garden is empty and lack of maintenence, it looks more like a small hiking place than a botanical garden.

Got fast and early check in on the day with exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff that i appreciated a lot. Close distance to other facilities compared to The Chateau, glad that I choose to stay here. Had phone issue in my room, they came to fixed it right away at 11pm. Hotel send over complimentary cake to my room too because i stayed on my birthday. But didn't expect they send whole cake again next morning during breakfast. Such a warm gesture from hotel staff, will definitely come to stay in this hotel again for unwind or celebrate special day. Thank you!!

Room and facilities are pretty old. It's time for renovation and improvements as this place have good potential. Food served during breakfast ultimately need to be review again as the taste is really below average, it's disappointing.

Free extra upgrade room upon check in with beautiful scenery. One side with magnificent nature view with sunset, monkeys playing around, and sound of nature. Another side with beautiful French buildings.

Beautiful place . room is very comfortable and clean . the view is amazing . it’s a small resort with all the facilities. good restaurant for breakfast . and two restaurants for lunch and dinner . they also have star bucks and other snacks shops . the grocery store is open most of the time and Friday , sat ands Sunday open for 24hrs. they also have 9D cinema and 6D cinema . spa is there and huge pool too. check in process was very quick . check out was easy too . and also they allowed us to stay after check out . in the package there is complimentary breakfast, rabbit park tickets and Japanese village ticket . I would also like to mention Fathihah ( hope the spelling is right ) and all girls who work in front desk . they all are so beautiful and attentive. very friendly . and they give proper information of the place and always shining . Girls keep Rocking 😘 Next we would like to mention the guy who work in grocery shop . Amin. He is a star ⭐️. he is so friendly . he doesn’t speak much English . but as much as he can he gave us information about the place . he also said when we see him next time his English will be better 🥰 we absolutely love this place . we will surely come back ..

It is quiet and romantic at night, and peaceful in the morning. Guards are readily stationed at their point, including 3 entry point along the road to colmar, and another one in front of the colmar/the chateau water fountain. There are guard patrolling around the resort area too. The room is adequately maintained. The restaurant and 7E opens till night. Other shops are closed, thus its really quiet after 8-9pm.

Arrived after sunset. The road is dark, spooky and eerie due to its low density, restricted area and so quiet. A lot of monkeys, climbing up the window whenever you walk out to the balcony, maybe munching on your snacks. The colmar itself is beautiful, but perhaps they could put up more lights at the dimmed and dark pathways, for security. Parking lot are dimmed too, the elevator is old, somehow functional.
