Staff were extremely pleasant and prompt. The fridge was not working and they replaced in no time without follow up. Enquired everyday if everything was OK. Property is in a great location and premises were really well maintained. Beach was very clean and the area really well maintained.

Our unit could have been maintained better. The bed room French window was permanently closed as the railings were completely rusted. So the bedroom and master couldn't be aired giving a stuffy feeling. The upholstery in living room could have been shampooed from time to time as the sweat smell was strong. Food options at the BBV Cafe was not inclusive for vegetarians. The only meal option was not available.

need to provide more floor mat, since pool is outside, high chance wster gonna be everywhere. esp for family with lots of kids. overall was fantasticccc!

We are in 2024 and internet is necessity these days. For the price I paid , It is a shame that there is no free wifi in rooms and you have to buy it for MR 30 a night, which is over priced to my opinion. Arrived in scorching heat and no help from staff to carry my luggages so I have to wheel it from reception to my room which was bit of a distance 😔 I asked for housekeeping service but I was told they can not clean my room because it was short staff 😱 they cleaned my room the next day though.

1. We took villa and it was really beautiful and clean. Of course, it’s not brand new, but for this price it’s literally the best and even more. 2. Villa has private pool which is awesome. 3. The view is perfect. You can easily see sea and it’s like 2mins to the private beach. 4. There were not many people, which is weird for us as this place is the best, but it’s still better for us because everything was not crowded 5. Personnel is super friendly, in restaurant and lobby and everywhere honestly. They clean villa everyday and EVEN washed our dishes for us and cleaned our clothes which was super nice of them 6. Sunsets were magnificent Overall, it’s perfect place for calm vacation with your family or friends

The view is stunning and access to the beach was easy. The unit was also large and had nice pockets of space to enjoy the view and relax. The kids loved the whole ambience. The staff are very friendly and we got this nice morning messages everyday checking up on our stay. It was very thoughtful.

My flight was delayed and even though I arrived at 2am, the staff made sure I has access to my room. Throughout my stay, the resort staff were so kind and courteous, via Whatsapp everyday, they checked in to see if I needed housekeeping. I liked I had the choice! The room was exceptionally clean and tidy when I arrived, so I opted for housekeeping only every 2 to 3 days. There is dedicated wifi in each apartment, only lost connection once when there was an electricity outage, but this was short. The location is just stunning! Borneo Villas are on the shoreline of a stunningly beautiful and isolated beach. The oceans waters are clean, although please note there is no beach lifeguard so swimming at sea is the guests own responsibility. There are several swimming pools that can be used too. The staff are happy to arrange everything for you that you cannot do onsite! They will arrange transfers to town/airport and also laundry if needed. Sabah has many stunning attractions and the staff work with various operators to ensure you can maximise your experience in this stunning part of the world! There is also a 24 hour cafe on site! Great for jetlagged guests! There are kitchenette facilities too. My stay was just wonderful! I shall return!

It would be nice if there was a small grocery store, just for essentials! As it is easy to get to supermarkets though, this is not a big drama! More vegetarian option on the cafe menu would be great, although the kitchen did accommodate and make menu options vegetarian for me when I asked

This villa is an excellent choice for family gatherings, offering a well-equipped home with all the necessary facilities. A major highlight is the private pool, which provides the freedom to swim at any time. Additionally, the villa's proximity to the beach is a great advantage. The staff were also notably nice and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. It's worth the money.

While the villa itself was well-equipped and the private pool and beach proximity were great perks, there were some concerns regarding cleanliness. The area in front of the villa was messy, with rubbish and even stray dogs, which negatively impacted the overall impression. Additionally, our villa’s proximity to the entrance meant that the lack of cleanliness was more noticeable and should have been better managed. This detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Our stay at Borneo Beach Villas was an absolute delight. The villas were beautifully designed, offering stunning views of the ocean right from our balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. We particularly loved the spaciousness of our villa, the well-maintained private pool, and the convenience of having a fully equipped kitchen. The resort's amenities, including the fitness center and spa, added an extra touch of luxury to our stay.

While our stay was overall wonderful, we did encounter a few minor inconveniences. The Wi-Fi connection in our villa was occasionally slow, which made it difficult to stay connected. Additionally, there were a few moments of noise from neighboring villas, which slightly disrupted the otherwise peaceful ambiance.

Loved the sea! Pity about the red flags. Would have liked to swim in there. The location and views were beautiful. Loved that the staff kept in touch via WhatsApp to check on us. The sunsets are to die for!

I didn't like feeling trapped without a convenience store available. The lobby is quite a walk away and the spa was on the far end. Had an appointment at the spa but couldn't get there as it was raining. Food choices were limited at the cafe. The property is a little old and could do with some refurbishment. My bed was super creaky. As I was walking in front of the villas, I actually fell through the sand into a hole that wasn't visible. Quite shocking, really but thankfully I was unhurt.
