The stay at Hilton was amazing. Really loved the room as it was very spacious, and I could see the sunset from the room. The breakfast was amazing and the spread is very diverse. The facilities were kept very well and really enjoyed the gym, steam and sauna room, and the swimming pool. Really missed the opportunity to try the various restaurants and their offering but will try to do so during my next visit. The location is also very central hence going anywhere in the city is very convenient. The staffs were also very accommodating. I had a really excellent stay here.

The parking is a little hassle as I need to go down to the lobby in order to take the lift to my room. But, I chalk this up as a security measure to ensure safety of guests. Hence, nothing that I didn't like during my stay

Hotel is great and staff are amazing. Great breakfast buffet spread and worth getting as there are no good cafes or restaurants around the immediate surrounding area. Pool is great, but could do with a regular clean as water gets murky and a little dirty.

There are no decent restaurants or cafes around the area and you will need to either walk to the seafront boardwalk or take a grab to a mall etc. The Saturday dinner buffet was decent, but it would be great to have the food being actively warmed up, especially the trays being placed outside at the pool area.

Hari Raya is a time where we seek some quality time with the family. Being in the hospitality industry the last thing we personally don't feel like doing is yet another hosting session. Hilton Kota Kinabalu provided a wonderful avenue for us to spend quality time together and being pampered by the friendliness of their team, the food and the pool ! Love it here. We appreciated the fact the early check in, the delicious food, the many gazebos and lazy chairs at the pool area and the eco friendly toiletries -Crabtree & Evelyn shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc in refillable big bottles rather than small one time use plastic bottles. A memorable, relaxing stay. Left feeling rejuvenated for sure :)

warm hospitality of the staff, definitely! i felt welcomed with every interaction with the staff, thank you so much for this. the location in town is another big plus! lovely rooftop swimming pool (opens 7 am - 8 pm). complimentary parking for guests is much appreciated. oh ya, the steam room and sauna room are splendid! a must to soothe tired body at the end of a long day.

none (but minor feedback to Hilton KK - the coffee joint at the lobby closes too early i think - 7 pm. it would be lovely to be able to have a nice cup of hot latte at 10 pm there for an easy chat with a couple of friends after dinner 😊)

This is not really the hotel's problem but booking.com This is biz trip so there are many of us from the same company there. As a regular booking.com customer, I believed I'll be offered the best deal.. I ended up paying RM1900+ without breakfast while people who booked directly with the hotel for the same stay paid RM1700+ with breakfast..

Very good location of the hotel, with easy access all over the city. The room was spacious and very clean. Loved the fact that there was a special make-up mirror in the bathroom! :) The star of my staying was the breakfast! it was the best breakfast i had during my vacation in Borneo! Also the staff very, very kind! i received some very useful tips about things to do around and the best place to watch the sunset... and indeed i witnessed one the best sunsets in my life!

The room and bathroom were both nice. Breakfast was great - additional local fruit selection would make it stellar. Free parking was a plus. The staff were hospitable and friendly. Half price drinks (select few), and cakes from the cafe, between 4-7pm. The rooftop pool was great, but consider it is not covered. Did not dine at the hotel for lunch or dinner; can recommend the seafood restaurant next door (welcome seafood). The free cot is only for children under 2, but staff were kind enough to supply a bed.

Location is an issue. A car is necessary to get around.

Breakfast has an amazing selection of food, the Saturday bbq was lovely and every member of the staff team were welcoming and made you feel like a special guest. The milk tea was extra special, made with the flare of a show. In the evening there was some rain and we were provided umbrellas. Staff were knowledgeable about the city and suggested places we could go to find a raincoat. We already want to come back. Honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed.

The location of the hotel was excellent, near to many seafood & local restaurants, and convenience shops. As KK is a city that is prone to traffic jam, the location of the hotel was good for cabs to access and avoid the heavy traffic.

Booking.com’s pictorial description of the room were misleading. In the booking.com app, the room I chose had a bathtub (according to the photos) but I discovered that only the suite rooms have bathtubs.
