Staff, Location, Cleanliness, Comfort - Excellent. The staff were accommodating and responded very fast. The place was in the same building as Imago, however, you use a different lift to enter. Not a big deal because it is very near and convinient. Cleanliness of the space was very good. Everything is new and clean. Comfort - Bed was squeeky but comfortable. Food - Lots of restaurants within Imago, but the building next door also offer budget local food.

During the day, it can get a bit noisey with the aeroplace and traffic. The walls are thin, and you can hear the people next door, especially if they are with roudy kids that sleep late into the night. There are many steps into the room - perhaps not best for people with wheelchair / with elderly requiring stepping in and out of room / toilet.

I've had some very friendly and helpful "hosts", across many countries, over the years but Vinah was truly exceptional. The room looked new with "all mod cons" and additional facilities being available, if required, found nearby in the shared hallway en route to the Ritz Residence main door. Just about anything you want to buy can also be found in the huge Imago Shopping Mall. Located within minutes of the seafront and convenient for other areas of Kota Kinabalu either by foot or cheap taxi. Two good sized pools, in attractive surroundings, for the use of guests.

There wasn't anything I personally disliked. Others may find aircraft noise, apparently concentrated only at certain times of day (& night), to be a problem but that would apply to much of Kota Kinabalu. My room was just about big enough for me - maybe for two people if they like to be close to each other (!) - and I suggest you choose a room appropriate for your needs. I also suggest you closely follow Vinah's clear instructions regarding arrival procedure - I didn't (in my defence, I arrived at about 05:30, because of flight delay, tired and possibly confused) and caused unnecessary inconvenience to myself and the staff. Sorry about that!

Wow, where to start. This place was fabulous! The room was so luxurious, it was beautifully decorated and gorgeously furnished. The bed was quite possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The bathroom was stunning with a small bath and a rain shower. Further, this has all the mod-cons you can hope for. Dyson hair dryer, a power bank to take out whilst exploring, USB charging ports on each socket, digital mirrors, electric blinds, and that’s just some of what’s available! The designers and planners have thought of everything; they provide two litre water bottles in the rooms and even have Biscoff biscuits in the tea/coffee set! The staff were helpful and quickly checked me in. I asked for a pool towel and they gave me two for my comfort. The communication from management and staff was excellent, providing precise details on where to get a taxi to and where to go on arrival to get to the apartment.

The only thing I would say is that the pools are for all the residents of the apartment block and there are no sunbeds to lounge on.

Everything from check in to checkout was superb!The staff was waiting for us at the carpark with our pass and room key. Another staff welcome us to the room and aircon was already switched on. The room was exactly as per advertised. Location was excellent. Walking distance to the beach and lots of seafood restaurants, not to mention shopping centre is downstairs. The host communicated with us throughout our 4 days stay to ensure we were comfortable. The room was small but lovely and bed was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom with nice strong shower.

There was no towel rail in the bathroom to hang wet towels and hand towel was not provide. We improvised and used the supplied face towels instead. The host thanked me for my suggestions to include these. All in, not a big deal..... We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.

Everything. This is one of the best places I've ever stayed. It's brand new and everything is easy to use. The staff is absolutely awesome and will show you around the property. Special shout out to Vinah who was amazing!! The property is quiet and in a very convenient location across from a cafe called Dozo, a money exchange place, and several massage places. There is every type of food you can imagine in the basement of the mall. It's a very cheap Grab ride away from everywhere you'll need to go too. I could go on and on. Loved this place and already regret leaving!

Like every other hotel shower, there's not enough space for shampoo, conditioner, face wash, soap and a razor.

The room was so clean, bed was so comfy. Location was great! We walked to restaurants nearby and you’re right on top of the mall (although you wouldn’t know as it’s silent at night!). There’s no concierge but the team are available on WhatsApp and reply instantly - at first I didn’t believe this would be better than having a concierge but honestly it is because you don’t have to sit and wait in a queue to talk to someone. Vinah was extremely helpful, giving detailed and clear advice and instruction. Would definitely recommend

Really great value- the feel of a high end hotel for a fraction of the price. The room was small but that did not make it any less luxurious feeling. Really high quality finishes, amazing comfortable bed, excellent bathroom with toiletries, hairdryer etc all available. Staff were very communicative before and during the stay, nothing was too much trouble. Apart from the occasional noise from planes (which can't be helped) the rooms were super quiet. Location was good and you have the convenience of being above a massive shopping centre- if we were staying longer we might have preferred to be closer to the waterfront area but as we only had less than 36 hours in KK being close to the airport actually suited us well and it was an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Tea and coffee and kettle provided- coffee was just 3 in 1, a pod machine or other option to make a 'proper' coffee would be the only suggestion for improvement- but not a problem.

After 24 hours of travelling, I was tired and looking forward to a comfortable bed. This accommodation did not disappoint and the room was amazing. I loved the attention to detail like the amenities, power bank and complimentary snacks and drinks. Before arrival, the staff put me in a WhatsApp group which was very handy and smart. It allowed me to ask some questions about the neighbourhood for example and they did their absolute best to respond in detail and promptly. Overall, I am very pleased with our stay and would book it again if I am around.

Fantastic location in the Imago Shopping Mall. This meant that there were abundant coffee shops and restaurants only minutes away. Vinah and the team made us very welcome, ensuring that we had no problems. The availability of the laundry service was an unexpected bonus. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bathroom was fantastic. All things considered, this booking could not have been better. Thanks Vinah!

The Loft was located at the Imago Shopping Mall which had everything I needed when I looked for sunblock and insect repellents for my tours. The staff were super friendly. I checked in extra late (My flight arrived at 1:20 AM) but they waited for me so that I could check in. I asked for recommendations for massages and they continuously helped me through WhatsApp. The place was very nice, my only regret is that I packed my schedule too much that I didn’t get to sleep in longer! It’s a vacation on itself just to stay there. As for late night food or snacks, a restaurant which was located at the front of the Loft was open 24/7 so getting hungry at night was not a problem. The room looked exactly like the photos here.

Nothing too drastic. Perhaps I am used to having a wash basin around the toilet but it was at the opposite end of the room near the shower, and there were no towel rests in the bathroom so it got a bit complicated positioning the towel but all in all, it’s not something that would lose a star over.
