It is very close to the dock, making it very convenient to go out to sea for sightseeing. There are supermarkets and restaurants around downstairs, and the distance is very close, with a view of the sea. The room is a separate small compartment, which is very cost-effective

The toilet cannot be flushed normally, and you need to use a water ladle to catch water before you can go to flush the toilet. It is not very convenient, as there are too many shoes at the entrance, which is piled up all over the door, affecting the appearance

The best part of it is the crew, super friendly and helpful young people🤗 One if the most comfy dorms I’ve ever slept at, it reminds a bit a bee hive, however that makes beds fully isolated from neighbors and stable, so neither noise or movement of other guests wales you up Great location, walking distance to all KK attractions

The common area is very small, no not really a hostel where you can interact with other guests

The most important is the toilets and shower rooms are clean! The bed is comfortable and have curtain for privacy. Spacious space in the room for my small luggage and to perform my prayer. They also provided a small locker (with key) outside the room. The location is just behind Le Meridin and within a walking distance to the Filipino market and a stone throwaway from the Jesselton Jetty Point. I was staying at the Hostel for Borneo Marathon and the receptionist, Delsie was very helpful to provide the contact person who arranged the transportation to the Likas Stadium.

The only downside the exterior of the building is a little bit dodgy, but once you enter the hostel, it was nice. Like they say, dont judge a book by its cover.

It's very clean and centrally located. The staff are very friend and helpful (i.e. kept a bag for me while I did a short trip elsewhere, lent me their umbrella).

The dorms/beds are good (proper capsules, privacy curtains, personal light/outlet, good AC) but the rooms are very small so no room to move. The hostel itself is very small so only very teeny social area - one small living room that isn't that relaxing and primarily used by long-term residents, and a small back patio that doubles as laundry drying, smoking area, and cooking area.

perfect central location, super clean + cozy room, good facilities, nice to have the balcony most important: and the staff are AMAZING!! everyone is both super professional and warm, and I really appreciated them being around. thanks especially to Jeff for making me feel so welcome & comfortable in KK :)

Jeff was super nice and helped me change to a girl's room. The location of the hostel is also very convenient, there are supermarkets and night market nearby. It's only a 15 minute walk from the diving pier, very happy traveling time, next time I go to Kota Kinabalu, I will choose this place again.

The staff here were lovely. My partner became unwell and so we had to extend our stay- we were able to stay in the same bed instead of move rooms, which was very helpful. We were given lots of help and recommendations for visiting the harvest festival. Water refill available Thanks to Delsie, Dominic and everyone else 😊

really great hostel, in the center of the city and very close to the main places. the mattress is very comfortable. Most friendly and helpful staff. 5 stars to Delsie! I called saying my flight to kk was arriving late after the office opening hours and then my flight delayed another 3 hours, despite arriving in the middle of the night she did the check in and I could have a good sleep. top!
