We stayed at the hotel for its 1)location - very near the start line of the Kuala Lumpur Marathon and 2) convenience - next to the Masjid Jamek lrt station

What I paid (due to reservations made on booking.com) was actually a LOT more that the amount I would have paid had I made reservations directly with the hotel. Found out during check-in when I was initially charged (and paid) a much lower amount. However, when they realised that I made reservations via booking.com, I was made to pay a much higher amount than the initial payment made.

The location is great - walking distance to many sites and subway. There is a good shared space on the last floor where one can work (internet speed is fast). The AC worked well. They were cleaning every day and providing bottled water. Besides, there is a cooler on the upper floor where you can refill your bottle with more water.

There is McDonalds on the first floor, so on the one hand you can always get a snack, but in the other hand the smell of their fried food gets into the room if you want to open the window. Besides, in a shared space in the evening (if you have to work late hours or just want to chill there) you might see occasional visitors - rats. So be cautious if you are afraid of them. They usually target the garbage can in the space.

The location of the hotel is excellent, it's right across the road from an MRT station and within walking distance to cafes, shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. The room was small but had everything you needed. Overall cleanliness was good. Staff were friendly. Good value for money considering it's in a capital city.

There weren't enough plug sockets - it would be good if there was one on each side of the bed. The shower could have been a bit cleaner but the overall level of cleanliness was good.

This place is so close with lrt, mcd, masjid jamek, dataran merdeka.

The room is a lil cramp, we have to push the queen bed towards the wall just so we can have enough space to perform solat. Aside, everything is good enough for the price.

I like the staff, particularly the first one when I checked in, he answered all my questions and a different person when I checked out at 4 am, he waited with me outside till the grab car arrived The bed is very comfortable, yes there is a train station close but for me it didn't bother me at all. Location is great, the station is close and you can go anywhere Overall my stay here was great and I will come back when I am in Malaysia again

I picked the room with no window and there was smell of moisture, I am not sure if it was just my room or all the other rooms but for me this was the only downside

Very clean room and comfy beds. The hotel is in a great location close to Chinatown and Merdeka Square. Staff were friendly. Able to store bags after checking out.

The hotel is on the main road with no car entry/exit spot, so you need to get grabs from a side street (with a lot of suitcases this might be hard)

The central location and the comfortable bed. Despite the noisy streets outside, I didn't hear a thing (I wasn't in a room facing an outside wall, though, so that may be why). Oh, and the views from the rooftop common area are amazing.

Many rooms in this hotel are windowless. I didn't mind as it allowed me to catch up on my sleep, but others might not like this. Also, the shower could use a door - water got everywhere every time I used it.

Location wise the property is just 2-3 minutes walk to Masjid Jamek train station which makes it very convenient to go around KL. The bed is comfy, room aircon functions well, they have water dispenser to fill up for free, and around the area have so many food choices to choose from. The location is also very safe as it is by the main road with well-lit street.

There are some amenities and services that the property doesn’t have such as hotel room slippers, shampoo, and they only provide 2 coffee packets for 3 days stay that me and my partner booked. The staff said that they do not give coffee for those who will check out the same day. Also my partner noticed that the towels after he used the 1st time smell funky (like it was used previously, dried, and never changed), we just asked for new towels for hygiene sake. Their housekeeping staff also will not be available for the night, so make sure you ask for cleaning of the room or taking the rubbish before heading out of the hotel for the day.

The location is ideal with public transport (i.e., LRT station) basically across the street, which can get you to KLCC and Petronas Towers fairly quickly. I often walked to Chinatown and Central Market every day. The entire place was quite clean and room service was proactive and attentive in checking whether I needed anything on an almost daily basis. The free Wifi was fast and stable all the way up on the 4th floor. The front desk was also helpful and friendly.

There isn't much that can be done about the noise outside with the busy road and LRT running throughout the day. If you get a room that isn't the facing the street, the sounds probably wouldn't be much of an issue. There is also sometimes the smell of the McDonald's (next door downstairs) sometimes filtering through stairs, which made my hungry at times. I wouldn't say it was a major issue. I liked the convenice of having a McDonald's just outside the hotel when I didn't want to walk much for food.

The basics are definitely met for a solo and budget traveller. Comfortable bed,powerful aircon, kettle, toileteries,strong shower. And the location is perfect. Next to Madjid Jamek station. McD is right below the hotel. Designated smoking area with a few table and chairs on the 7th floor(rooftop). Many eateries around the hotel and Street food stalls available for breakfast. Convenience store and pharmacy also located nearby.

No mini fridge. Maybe a shared fridge could be available for use on the ground floor just like an ironing facilities placed outside one of the room for guest usage.
