Food quality fabulous. Horizon Club fabulous.

Small point but the swimming pool needs a bit of attention.

1. Staffs were courteous and friendly making stay all more comfortable. 2. Breakfast and lounge access is always highlight during stay at this hotel.

1. Toilet bowl of one room had some left over stains, so more attention needs to paid during cleaning. 2. Welcome fruit platter is no longer provided although price of entire stay for same duration as last year had increased a whopping 44%. 3. Seems chefs and cooks at live stationsare either busy with some other preparations rather than wait to serve customers and quite a number seem to be pulling faces, making ordering food uncomfortable to say at least. No improvements this area since last stay.

All the common areas were absolutely fantastic. Pool, spa, sauna, steam room. All the wonderful events in the lobby bar. Opera singing, piano music, live guitar. Buffet breakfast was the best I’ve ever seen. The shuttle bus to major malls and Petronas towers very convenient

It’s a really hard one because the hotel is really exceptional in every way. The staff, the facilities, the grand atmosphere. However the rooms decor is from the 70s and rooms do need updating. Initially the room could have humid smell which goes away once you start using aircon. To be fair, the rooms being dated is reflected in the price. It is very reasonably priced compared to the facilities you get access to.

. Great location. 8min walk from Petronas twin towers. . Late check out was possible 1pm vs 12pm originally. . Nice staff.

- Check in process very long. Around 25min in my case due to a room change. Not acceptable for such a high end hotel. They knew that we were one family. They put us on 2 complete different floors originally. - Rooms/decorations started to be a bit old for such a high standard hotel comparing with competitors. - No nice view despite the fact of being on the 19th and floor (many high rise buildings are covering the city view) in the area where the hotel is located. - Breakfast is ok but could be clearly better for such high end hotel. Quality need to get improved.

The staff and customer service impresses me most. Second, the facilities. For instance, my wife needed to see a doctor because of a fall she took on our vacation in Bali prior to arriving at your hotel. I called up the Shangri La and was told finding a doctor would be no problem. Sure enough after checking in the Shangri La concierge made an appointment for us and we were escorted to a clinic in the adjoining building. The experience was a total breeze and even easier than if we were home. There are many I could single out who cared for us on our stay, but I will just mention Alisya, Mr. Fazrul and Babu as coming to mind most of all. Regarding the facilities, after a long trip around Southeast Asia, it was nice to spend an entire two days hardly leaving the Shangri La. Swimming pool, restaurants and grounds all contributed to a short recovery before returning home.

The pool was lovely. The Horizon Club upgrade was well worth the money. Fabulous location. Felt luxurious with first a beautiful Diwalli decorations on our arrival and then Christmas decorations just before our departure

Kids club not well used. It was only open on certain days and at certain times which just weren't convenient. Our kids went once and they wouldn't stay without us also staying, so we stayed and it was not very much fun with 2 other kids and one sole kids club leader who shared very little enthusiasm for the designated activity.

Room was comfortable and quiet. Plenty of hot water in shower, wifi worked well. Easy to get Grab for getting around. Walking distance to Suria mall. Breakfast with lots of variety. Great having 4 bottles of water each day. Lots of outlets and USB connections. Staff friendly and helpful.

Many of the breakfast items should be warmer. Only the items made to order were done right. Would like more dim sum choices. When asked if could just get dessert at the Lemon Garden Breakfast buffet, we were not directed to the Lemon Garden 2GO where we could have gotten cake.

Friendly staff. Room including toilet, and swimming pool were very, very clean (though the pool was 'modest' in size). Very good shower - water pressure and seamless hot/cold water. It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel thoughtfully gave us 2 petite gift boxes of high-quality chocolates.

I had made another booking direct from the hotel for another 1 night and had requested for the same, connecting rooms for both nights for our 2 teenagers and for me/my spouse, respectively. However, I received some standard written message from the hotel customer service, which indicated that the hotel cannot streamline bookings made through agents like booking.com with bookings made direct. I had to call the hotel customer service to verbally clarify the matter and it was resolved to my satisfaction. Hopefully, this feedback would be used for improvement of written messages from the hotel to give guest comfort in written message without having to call the customer service.

5 star classy, friendly, comfortable and super clean hotel. Very pleasant experience.

Nothing. But since we are being asked about suggested improvement, our observation would be bartender manning the pool bar would appear a little less enthusiastic compared to all other staffs we encountered throughout the 3 days hotel stay.

The hotel it self is lovely, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Always greeting you and the breakfast buffet is great. It is also a very good location, walking distance from the Twin towers and the shopping centre for food. I also liked that we had access to the Spa facilities such as Sauna and steam room and it was separated for men and women.

I found the furniture a bit dated and maybe just needs to be modernised a bit. The pillows are slightly uncomfortable to sleep in.
