Absolutely outstanding! My recent stay at the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur was nothing short of exceptional, and it exceeded all my expectations in every possible way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The location of the Shangri-La is ideal, nestled in the heart of the city yet offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The lush, beautifully landscaped gardens provide a tranquil oasis that makes you feel like you're in a paradise within a city. The grandeur of the lobby, with its elegant decor and sophisticated ambiance, immediately captivates you and hints at the luxury that awaits. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and furnished with a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic elegance. My room offered breathtaking views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline, which was particularly mesmerizing at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the bathroom was a haven of luxury with its marble finishes and high-end toiletries. Dining at the Shangri-La is a gastronomic delight. The variety of restaurants and the quality of the food are simply outstanding. From the sumptuous breakfast buffet at Lemon Garden, featuring an extensive array of international and local delicacies, to the exquisite Japanese cuisine at Zipangu and the fine dining experience at Lafite, every meal was a culinary adventure. The attention to detail, the presentation of the dishes, and the flavors were impeccable. The hotel's facilities are equally impressive. The fitness center is well-equipped with state-of-the-art machines, and the pool area is a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The spa deserves special mention; the treatments were incredibly rejuvenating, and the therapists were skilled and attentive, ensuring a truly relaxing experience. What truly sets the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur apart is the exceptional service.

The staff was always so nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The location is quite central and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to.

It's not that I didn't like the swimming pool, but I had previously stayed in Shangri-la in Bangkok and comparing both pools and areas I felt as though that one was much nicer.

The hotel is grandiose. The room furniture and layout is well thought out and very functional. The location suited us perfectly, close to public transport but also in walking distance to key city attractions. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and welcoming . The breakfast is sensational, the options in terms of options and quality are second to none

Everything was just perfect! The staff went out to make our stay so comfortable witout a hitch! Front dest, - Sabrina, Agnes, Zakuan very hospitable and welcoming Spa and Massage- Sharifah very profensional in her work (do keep her)

Really attentive staff in the club lounge and on the personal Whatsapp service, disability access quite thoughtful (love the seat in the shower). Decent spread for breakfast. Clean facilities all round, impressive especially on the smoking floor.

Hard to rate all the staff highly as I had multiple issues with the Lemon Garden staff. One miscommunication about whether breakfast was included in my reservation (it was, they were trying to charge me for it!) and at the little Lemon Garden To-Go cafe, the two staff working the cashier were absolutely horrendous. They were selling chocolates but some weren't labelled with the flavours, and when I inquired about these they had no idea, started going to the hotel website to look it up, and even told me the wrong flavour just to get me to stop asking questions. Really hope they look into hiring practice there as it's giving Shangri-la a terrible name.

We had a really lovely stay with our two young kids. The room was nice and the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was incredible and lounge was appreciated. We liked that there was a lifeguard at the pool.

The lounge was great but there were not enough seats/table to fit families. There was an adults only area which was usually only half full. They could have seated those without children in that area rather than in the family area where we had to sit separately on multiple occasions. We were in a non-smoking room but it was clearly on a smoking floor. The smell was so strong and it hits you in the face when exiting the lift. It permeated into our room. Perhaps only put non-smoking rooms on non-smoking floors. Our sofa and cushions needed a good clean as it smelled of body odour.

Wow! Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance of the Petronas Twin Towers. The staff here were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel agreed to store some luggage for us when we travelled internally and had a reduced luggage allowance and immediately located the left luggage when we returned for a second stay. The buffet breakfast and dinner options were extensive and delicious. The club horizon lounge service also exceeded our expectations and the fantastic suite that we stayed in on the 28th floor offered incredible views of the city. We will definitely be looking to stay at the Shangri La when we return to Kuala Lumpur in the future!

Very good location along with very nice ambience. All Staff members are very professionals

They didn't accommodate us for missing night as we have to check in on 18th but our Batik flight was cancelled and we checked in hotel on 19th buy they didn't refund or facilitate us regarding the 18th payment. One thing more important I have booked room with booking.com where it shows tent for kids while after booking the hotel sent us upgradation for tent and it cost us another Payment of 800 Ringet. Money doesn't matter but while booking it should be clearly mentioned or room pictures should be accurate.

We like our room, its really large room and clean.

Breakfast - there are variety food to choose but the quality of food was not good, we could only take breakfast in the Garden restaurant one day among of 4 days stay - and we have to take breakfast in Horizon Club area that no much choice. Horizon club- our room is included the lough club access but we could not enjoy as a limited of child access's between 6pm-8pm for adult only while we have 8 year old girl and we have to come between 4pm-6pm, it should be better if the time zone was open later for the family so that parent can enjoy late evening drinks as well.

Lovely hotel.We upgraded to the club room which included breakfast,afternoon tea, and two hours of free drinks plus snacks and believe me it was a good choice as you will see from what we did not like.They used to serve free champagne in the club room lounge years ago but that is no more, and strange there was no Brandy available ?

Scandalous price for drinks in the hotel.Half a pint of beer and a glass of wine cost approximately £22 ! A pint of beer approximately £15 .The pool area was dismal and uninviting and the pool cold. Drinks there were extortionate also. Stayed in the Shangri-La a few times going back 20 years or so. Was shocked to see how hemmed in it is now with all the buildings around it. Crossing the road is a nightmare but once across the Brew house was reasonable for drinks and meals. went in Authur's bar in the hotel and was horrified to see people smoking in there.Apparently it's allowed by the Government in the older hotels.
