Room was clean and big..... The breakfist was fantastic...... The facelities was superb..... Location was great..... Staff was friendly

Central location, adjacent to shopping mall. Facilities were adequate and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory with changes in daily menu.

The ventilation can be improved. Occasionally there was cigarette smell. The hotel can probably be more strict in enforcing the non-smoking policy. Only one counter staff member was available during my checkout at 7.15am and she was attending to another guest. I wouldn't have minded but unfortunately I was in a rush then for a business trip. Would appreciate an express checkout where I can just drop my hotel cards, instead of going through the counter and having to settle the payment for tourism tax during checkout.

One of the clean and spacious room hotel in Kuantan. We’ve been to Kuantan every year for our son’s sports event in and around Kuantan, since last 3 years. We’ve tried and experienced many stays in Kuantan and surprisingly Zenith services are beyond our expectations. The room, the bathroom are spacious for 3-people. Breakfast spreads are plenty. You should try their nasi dagang with gulai ikan tongkol. Since there was this government event at this hotel during our stay, the food supply were plenty, and we were given the second slot of breakfast to avoid the crowd. One of our best stay in Kuantan.

The lift service during peak hours. Only 2 lifts ongoing during one peak weekend morning, the day which has the government event ongoing at the convention center. The lift stopped at every level due to people waiting for the lift to go down, and suddenly the lift that we took went stucked at level-3 for a few minutes. I think all 5 lifts should be operating during peak hours. However we fully understood the situation and will come back to Zenith for our next stay in Kuantan.

The room, cleanliness, easy parking, location, no charge for parking but need to validate your TnG card at the counter.

Netflix couldn't be used since we were told that they were in the process of installing the servis, hence we were left with local channels; no coffee machine in the room despite stated in the room description in booking.com; no coffee machine during breakfast which was quite weird for a 5-star hotel; breakfast was quite good but not many options; we only received one small bottle of shower gel and shampoo;

Don’t be fooled! A lot of people on here will tell you it’s a 5 minute walk to the shopping centre. I packed my comfortable walking shoes and prepared to do a bit of road walking in Malaysia. In fact, this hotel is right across the road from the shopping centre. I timed myself from the moment I left the doors of the hotel until I walked in the doors of the shopping centre - 78 seconds! Granted there was a slight shuffle as I had to cross the road and not get hit but I doubt it affected my timings too much. There you have it, the truth about how far the Zenith Hotel is from the East Coast Mall. And the hotel was quite nice too.

Check in took longer than probably should have.

The location is at the centre of the town. Just a walking distance to the nearest mall. The food buffet has plenty of choices. Exceptional taste and worth the money on the price bracket. I love the elevator card system where it will automatically choose ur room level by only tap the room card on the reader.

No lift from the upper parking lot to the lobby.

The cleanliness was very good, clean and comfortable. All basic amenities are available. Friendly and polite front desk. The hallway to hotel room is clean and bright, feels good once entering the hotel. There are so much variety for the breakfast. tried only 1/3 of it due to my time constraints. The shower had my most attention as it was so comfortable and the water pressure is very good despite on higher floor.

Room size was reasonable for price we paid. Location was excellent as it was almost in the middle of the town.

Breakfast was adequate though quality of food is a little short of my standard. eg. thosai was not fragrant at all - maybe should be "prepared to order" instead of precooked like other dishes (especially curries). There was no "chutney" (with grated coconut, some spices/chilli) to accompany. A curry was provided but not as authentic as chutney. Another eg omelette can be prepared to order, as the pre-cooked ones loose flavour easily. "Birscher muesli" was one of the varieties of yoghurts offered but is a misnomer. There was no rolled cereals as part of the dish; only shredded vegetables. So I was disappointed.

I have requested for late check out and no smoking room: 1. I was given a smoking room (cannot take the smell), call reception, wait in tge smoking room till get a new room. 2. I have requested a late check out even during booking online. I guess, nobody read it at all. Was told during check in that to check out by 12 noon. Dont even talk that, "we will let you know your late check out request later".... means nobody read my request. The next moning at 7 am before going to work, I ask again at the reception about the late check out... was told to check out at 12 noon.... still means nobody read my request and even my verbal request was not entertain... just said, "our apology that the hotel is totally full, we cant allow late check out today"

The staff was fantastic and even offered me an upgrade, which I really appreciated. I had a three-day training session less than 100 meters away, and it was incredibly convenient to walk there. There are a few restaurants nearby, making it easy to find meals, and the close proximity to convenience stores made it simple to pick up anything I needed during my stay.

The scent of the air freshener wasn't to my liking, but it was a minor issue.
